“Sun China is my go-to spot for Chinese food in Sanger! I’ve been here several times for lunch, and their lunch specials are always a great deal. Most recently, I had the orange chicken lunch special—it was fantastic. The chicken was flavorful, the portion was generous, and it came with a delicious soup that hit the spot.

Their chow mein is easily one of my favorites anywhere—savory, fresh, and consistently good. Honestly, everything I’ve tried here has been solid. The service is always friendly and efficient, and while the atmosphere is a bit on the simple and old side, it’s clean and comfortable.

“Our mobile order took 45 minutes to be ready. Food tasted good. Service was mediocre, at best. Workers ignored us completely, and only paid attention to us when we approached and and asked for our order. Corporate really needs to train their workers to actually be respectful, and not ignore customers. We weren't the only ones just standing around waiting to be helped.“

Whether we order family style or plates, we always get enough for dinner and left overs for a late night snack or lunch the next day. We spend more ordering family style than an individual plate, but it is worth it to be able to get what we want and have left overs.“

This is the very definition of fast food and surprisingly still made at a high standard. The overall experience confirmed that Sunrise Kitchen continues to execute its core menu items with consistency and care.

My visit reinforced that this establishment remains a dependable option in Fresno for generous servings of classic Chinese-American dishes. The Mongolian beef over pan-fried noodles, fried shrimp with mustard, and special pork chow mein each performed well and together formed a satisfying meal.
