Oh! Fox Wine’s Santa Barbara tasting room manages the rare feat of making the wine feel like an afterthought with its Home Goods cheap aesthetic, which is weird because the wine is not! We heard this is a good place to go for lively entertainment, but there wasn’t any the weekend we went, the patio was more like a children’s playground. Music inside however was blaring rock ‘n’ roll on crackly speakers, which was not particularly relaxing. So, no!
We had a fantastic experience at Fox Wine Company. The tasting room is nestled inside the Waterline—a cool, industrial space shared with Topa Topa Brewery, Lama Dog Tap Room, Kiva Cowork, and The Nook Eatery, founded by Master Chef Norbert Guehr. The setup is perfect—guests can enjoy incredible wines and order delicious food from The Nook, which gets delivered right to your table.

The staff is friendly and efficient, making the experience enjoyable. The spacious patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine, and they even welcome dogs. The location is great for larger groups, with a variety of wine options to enjoy. The atmosphere on weekends with DJs and vendors adds to the overall experience. Parking can be a bit challenging, but the overall vibe and service make Fox Wine Co. a must-visit spot in the area.
