This is such a classic little spot. No elaborate flavors or gimmicks, just a nice variety of donuts and very friendly service. I stopped by in the early afternoon, but they still had most items in stock. Donut Den is rare in that the raised donuts, cake donuts, filled donuts, and old fashioneds are all very, very good. They run out of donuts because they live next to a bunch of blue collar businesses that keeps them busy, but they are one of the best around that area. They always have my favorite donut at least and, the breakfast sandwiches are my top 3 favorite in San Jose.
