Shu's Korean Restaurant Reviews
Reading this review... you should just go to the restaurant. I came back this week after many many years and it's still delicious is and amazing. This restaurant is like an institution in Santa Clara. I was a little chilly when I first entered and the wonderful server without even asking brought me some hot tea to warm me up. Quality affordable lunch specials. All kinds of bbq & seafood, sondobu. With real quality authentic panchans for $16 !!
We had such a nice group dinner at Shu's! Our friends recommended it, and I had never been to Korean BBQ before, so I was very excited to go. I ordered the Kim Chi fried rice and my boyfriend had the Bi Bim Bab and we both really enjoyed it. Our friend had the BBQ pork and he was happy too! They were super attentive to our needs and made sure we were getting everything we ordered. I will definitely be going back! The Kim Chi fried rice was really, really good - definitely recommend!!

Shu's Korean Restaurant is a delightful dining experience for those seeking authentic Korean flavors. The fried rice has a perfect balance of sweet and savory tastes, while the kimchi is tangy and spicy. The menu features popular items like Beef short ribs, bulgogi beef, octopus hotpot, chicken, seafood scallion pancake, japchae, bibimbap served in a hot stone pot, and dumplings. All meals are served with generous portions and a large assortment of tasty banchan side dishes. The broth in the octopus hotpot comes out bubbling hot, packed with rich, savory flavor that balances spice and depth, and the octopus is tender. Staff are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent service, making helpful suggestions. One reviewer noted that the lady with the short hair is especially nice. The restaurant has a casual, homey vibe with spacious surroundings and relaxed decor, offering a chill and peaceful dining experience. It is family-oriented, making guests feel like regulars. There is a banquet room available for private gatherings. Parking is available on the streets or in the adjacent plaza. This diverse and accommodating restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Korean cuisine.
