My family (wifey & our twin daughters) checked out this spot while on a getaway between Santa Cruz and Monterey back in January (2024). We were looking for a local spot and chose this place near the mall. Once inside, it felt like we were in a hood spot off the beach in Honolulu. The restaurant provides a cozy atmosphere with both indoor and patio seating available. It's decorated as if you were at a local shack in Hawaii. I decided to try the kalbi short rib which comes with white rice, mac salad and a very little serving of kimchi slaw. The portion is enough to make you pretty full.
