“We visited Sweet Angeles today and had the best experience. The staff were super friendly and welcoming - it felt like they were genuinely happy to have us there.
We ordered the chocolate, Dubai chocolate, and strawberry ice creams - all were rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The Dubai chocolate was especially unique and definitely a favorite. We also shared a piece of cake (so good!) and an iced coffee that hit the spot. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing.
The place itself has a really cozy and relaxed vibe - perfect for hanging out and enjoying a sweet treat.

With different types of frozen bananas, cookies, and, of course, house-made flavored ice cream, this is a bit of a paradise. Personalized ice cream sandwiches also adorn the menu, or a nice ice cream shake.

For the seasoned, there are also hand-packed cartons available.

Their ice cream is something special. There are seasonal flavors and your old school favorites. The cartons change often, so multiple visits are warranted.

For an ice cream lover, I would have to say there is a good balance of overrun and fat content. The structure has a good, solid mouth feel without too much compactness. I especially like how their chocolate flavors give a sense of cocoa and not just commercial sugary chocolate. Seasonal flavors also fall in line with the same attention to detail.

Stay away from corporate-run chains and give your love for a cold treat to folks who have a passion for it.“

“My Mother’s Day (party day) order included 5 dozen mini cupcakes, 2 cakes, and some whoopie pies! I got home and realized my order was missing a dozen red velvet cupcakes. I called the studio city location for a refund on those since I had no time to go back to the bakery before the party (please open a location in Santa Clarita @susiesarich 😂). Instead, they same day delivered my cupcakes PLUS sent additional cookies and Mother’s Day treats for no additional cost to me😭❤️ I was SO amazed by the gracious customer service. “Walking distance from my place in Beverly Grove L.A. and boy am I glad. First found them in Manhattan and was delighted when they opened here. Good old chocolate cake does it for me, tho sometimes I swing vanilla, & the BF loves the Banana Pudding. Gotta say I'm not a fan of their new prepackaged cake slices. I prefer seeing it sliced from the whole cake right before my very eyes the way Mom did it and God intended. The way they have slices now, in stacks of plastic boxes, makes it seem more like you're getting them from a vending machine than an old-time bakery. I guess it makes transactions quicker, but I hope they reconsider.“

“The goal was to look for a nice cake at a good price since the cake wasn’t going to be the center of attention. I showed Joanie some examples of some cakes I thought were beautiful but I was sure it would be too expensive to do. She helped me alter the design we picked just a little bit to stay on budget and let me tell you, this cake was PERFECT. We even placed it next to the champagne tower to display it for all to see. Not only did it look pretty but it also just tasted delicious. While the cake was meant to be an area we were trying to save money and keep our expectation low, it turned out completely opposite and we ended up with an absolutely beautiful cake at an incredible price. “The Baseline: For a desert shop the flavor of offerings must out-weigh the taste of pure sugar, there must be unique/rare offerings that drive me to go there, and the value of the desert must be balanced with the fact I probably just finished a meal.

Food: Tasty cupcakes with a slightly higher price tag. ATM them at 4AM if you need a cupcake fix. I got the Vietnamese Coffee cupcake which was good but a little too sugary. Need to try others to really make a final verdict.

Service: Great service from the employees and there is a self service ATM for cupcakes so it is 24/7 cupcakes if you need them.

Ambiance: It is a fun little shop that is straight to the point… getting a cupcake. This is a fun stop for a desert after getting a meal in the Manhattan Village.“

I once wondered what the difference was between cupcakes and muffins.
A muffin is a cupcake-shaped cake, and cupcakes are always decorated with sweet icing on top. So cupcakes can create artistic and diverse beauties.

Most of America's famous cupcakes have their own unique characteristics. It is loved for its beauty. Of course, taste is also important (in fact, famous restaurants have very good taste).

Sprinkles is the most famous cupcake brand in the LA area. In addition to the Grove Mall branch here, you can find it at Beverly Grove, Downtown LA, and Glendale Americana Mall.
What's interesting is that you can sometimes see this house's cupcake vending machine... It's a really novel idea, and it might be fun to find it in Beverly Hills and try it out.

The circle decoration that is the symbol of this house is very pretty.
Unlike other cupcakes, it has a cute concept, so it has the magic of making you want to adopt a puppy and take it home haha.

Like most American cupcakes, they are very sweet.
It may be too much for those who are sensitive to sweet tastes, but when you eat it, you will feel the combination of American sweetness and soft cake sheet. I tried red velvet and s’mores...
I liked the softness of the red velvet, which was of a higher standard than any other restaurant in Korea (strangely, red velvet in Korea doesn't live up to its name haha, it should be as soft as velvet...), and the s'mores had the taste of marshmallows in the cake, just like making real s'mores. The hidden bitterness of the dark chocolate balances the taste.
