“McDonalds by the Santa Monica Pier
have the best trained staff at any McDonalds across the land. The manager & assistants are gems of professionalism. They are attentive & groomed in excceptional customer service. The employees as well each facillitate the preparation of fresh accurate orders delivered in a friendly manner.“
“Typical fast food McDonald's. I'm farther away from the city so not sure if the parking was typically. But the parking lot was terrible for full sized SUV's. The parking spaces are so tiny and they back up into the drive thru. The drive thru line was also all the way out into the street. It did take a while for someone to offer to take our order. I think they assume that we are going to use the self order kiosk... which takes forever and I am not proficient to order on one of those. Just so much faster and personable for someone to take my order. The employees were polite and nice.“
“This location is a solid McDonald’s. The food and service were very good. Given the neighborhood it does attract individuals who have some struggles.
Kid-friendliness: It worked well for my daughter. You need to be mindful of there whereabouts. I don’t suggest visiting bathrooms alone.“
“I don’t even know for sure if Kaz officially works at McDonald’s… but what I do know is that every time I pull up and he’s there, everything just feels different - better.
Kaz doesn’t just hand you a bag of food; he hands you a moment. A moment where you feel seen, appreciated, and taken care of.
There was something about the way he treated me - like I wasn’t just another customer, like I mattered. You can’t teach that. That’s heart. That’s genuine kindness.
Kaz goes above and beyond in ways most people don’t even notice. The small things. The simple “How’s your day going?” that actually feels real. The smile that stays with you long after you drive away. The energy that lifts your mood even if you walked in feeling tired, stressed, or empty.
People like Kaz are rare.
People like Kaz make the world feel lighter.
If McDonald’s does have him on their team, they don’t just have an employee — they have someone who brings comfort, positivity, and real human connection to a place that’s usually fast and forgettable.
Kaz made it unforgettable.
Thank you bro. For real.“
