Chinese Restaurants near Santa Paula

“Won a gift card at an office party and decided to use it at the Santa Paula location. Never been in there before. I was very pleasantly surprised! The serving and eating areas were immaculate and inviting. I ordered the 2 entree plate with fried rice. The teriyaki chicken came right off the grill - can't get fresher than that! The servings were tremendous for the paltry $11 that came off my gift card. Speaking of...the cashier had problems processing the card. But the manager jumped right in and took care it.5 stars across the board were well deserved. I will certainly be back to use the rest of my card and then some.“

“Back when I worked and lived in Camarillo, I would come over to Peking Inn all the time for their lunch special. I’ve vividly remember how friendly they were, and how flavorful the food was. The lunch special prices were reasonable too.

We were visiting a few of our friends that own store in the same shopping center, so decided what the heck let’s pop in and do the lunch special like old times.

Just as remembered, the restaurant had the same 90s decor and friendly folks there to greet you at the door. And based on the clientele already seated, you could tell this is still very much a locals favorite restaurant.

They also take a traditional approach towards what they offer. We went to wash up before eating, then came back to find T, water, and fried wonton strips with dipping sauce.

A few minutes later, our super friendly server came over and asked if we had any questions. We had a late breakfast, so decided just to order a couple of soups. Everything was delicious as remembered and again, stellar service from the staff.

The only thing we were a little surprised to see was the prices on the menu. Most Chinese restaurants that we frequent Ventura County have lunch specials ranging between $12 and $14 per plate. the average lunch special here was about $16 per plate. And like other lunch specials, it comes with soup and such as well. We were just surprised to see dinner prices for lunch specials.

Great service, good food, and nice atmosphere always make up for a successful restaurant. Peking Inn hits all of these and makes it no wonder that they have been in business all these years now.“

“We recently moved from Santa Clara County to Ventura County. Tasty China has been the best Chinese restaurant we’ve been to in Ventura County. Their lunch specials are wonderful and they’re pork xiao long bao are amazing!😋“

“Tasty food. We enjoyed rice sizzling soup, pineapple shrimp and beef and broccoli. All dishes had fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked with exact balance of sweetness and salt. Tried the pineapple shrimp for the first time and loved it. Clean place, great and very attentive service.“

“The food is the best, prices are fair, the people very friendly whether we're eating there or picking up a to-go order.
The atmosphere isn't really their fault, it's a standard restaurant box in a strip mall. There's only so much you can do with that.

Wheelchair accessibility: Navigable ramps, double doors, and wheelchair available tables in place. It wouldn't be a bad idea to call in advance so they can steer more mobile customers to other seating options.“

“Super sweet owners got there two minutes before they closed and they were more than welcoming to help us. They had ran out of chow mein since they were two min from closing and the owner literally made fresh chow mein for us. Will definitely be coming here more often :)“

“Best Chinese food in Camarillo. Staff is very friendly and they attend you very well. Also the place looks very clean. I stopped coming here due to the fact that the previous owners weren’t maintaining the place well. Glad to see that the food, customer service , and place got overall better.“

“Stop by to grab a bite, love Panda Express, I eat at Panda in my hometown,(Reno) nevada. My load isn't ready, so I thought I would treat myself and see if it's the delicious food as home. Yes indeed it's the same great taste as in my hometown.“

“I come to this location once a week and every time I always have a great experience from the food to the staff. Not only is the food delicious but the service is impeccable. I am greeted with a smile once I step in and have small talk with the team. The manager LETTY is out of this world. She has a great attitude, positive, and upbeat. I dine in and i notice a team member checking up on guest and going above and beyond by offering more condiments, samples, and fortune cookies in which I’ve been to several locations and I was highly impressed by this. Talk about hospitality!. The team member name is Carolina whom I had the pleasure of interacting with during this visit. I highly recommend this place to family and friends. During a recent visit, the individual associated with the silver PT Cruiser or Chevy vehicle displayed a negative demeanor upon my arrival at the kitchen entrance. Considering my lack of prior interaction, I assumed this person was responsible for preparing my order. Upon consumption, the food presented an unusual taste, a recurring issue, although the cook's identity was previously unknown. It is recommended to monitor food preparation personnel and request to speak with the chef, sous chef, or relevant kitchen staff. Furthermore, assessing the cleanliness of the floors and restrooms can provide insights into the overall standards of the establishment, as well as body language.“

“At The Panda by the outlets store 816 is the best Panda I have ever visited. Mauricio is the manager and the restaurant is always super clean and the food is always fresh. It is a pleasure to eat at this establishment. The portions are always generous, hot and fresh!“
