“Chef Joann was an absolute pleasure to work with. When we first reached out to Chef Joann, she was a little bit out of our price range, but she was able to work with us and our budget in order to be the caterer for our wedding. We went and met Joann and did a food tasting with her and she was so hospitable and nice we knew we had found the caterer for us, not to mention the food was absolutely amazing. Luckily, Chef Joann had worked our venue before so that took all the worries and stress from trying to plan and connect her with our venue and coordinator. She was able to work with us, even through all the craziness of 2020 and we were able to figure out a way to make things work efficiently and safely without jeopardizing the layout or food. The bartenders she was able to bring went above and beyond and really helped to get the party started for our wedding. They were constantly bringing my wife and I drinks as we would be empty handed and socializing with our guests. It was really cool how well the entire crew took care of not only us but all of our guests. With me being the wayI am, I wanted to help Joann and her crew and she would joke with me to be quiet, have fun and get married. It really felt like a family member or close friend was there, had our back and was taking care of us. It was a really cool dynamic and took all the stress out of the day. The food Joann conjures up is not easily put into words. The appetizers she did for the cocktail hour as well as the cheese boards she created for each table were astounding. They were above and beyond anything we had expected. I had guests coming up to me all night commenting on how amazing the cocktail hour was along with the dinner. We are so happy we picked Joann to take control and be a part of our big day. I would highly recommend Joann to anyone who wants amazing a delectable food from someone who is so easy going and easy to work with, you feel like you have known them for years. “As a wedding planner (Forever Enchanted Events), I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the incredible service Personal Touch Dining provided at our last wedding. They sky-rocketed to the top of my preferred vendor list. Each of their staff members truly went above and beyond to ensure the success of the event, all while having great attitudes and working very quickly and efficiently. Starting from the beginning of booking, their communication was fantastic. Brittany, our first point of contact was very thorough and even checked in a week prior to the wedding to make sure we had a back up plan for rain when she saw the possibility in the weather forecast and provided recommendations for tents as well. Melissa, our Catering Manager, was phenomenal and notably friendly, organized, and calm while managing a very large team. I would whole-heartedly trust her and her team with any event. Everything ran smoothly, and she personally checked in with me several times to see if they could offer my own team any additional assistance if they had staff members available. I was truly amazed at the quality of service and the friendliness of EVERY member of their team (especially Evan, Matt, Izzy, Lauren, Melissa, and Brittany) and look forward to working together again soon!“

“Buckboard catered our wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden on July 25th, 2026. From the beginning, Raquel was communicative, organized, and an all-around delight to work with. We had a wonderful time chatting with her during our tasting at the restaurant. Most importantly, the food on the big day was absolutely delicious. We did the taco bar, and it was as good as any of our favorite Mexican spots around San Diego. We also really appreciated Raquel's ability to accommodate our guests' dietary restrictions. Overall, we had a phenomenal experience with Buckboard and could not recommend them more highly.“

“Not bad for a $7 burger. It was VERY saucy. If you don't like sauce being the main thing you taste maybe try to ask for it on the side or get a double. The single does not stand up to the sauce and I like to taste the meat and cheese up front and then the sauce personally. The order process is pretty nuts you order from them online and pay them through Venmo or cash at pickup. Then you message them on Instagram when you arrive. They are basically renting a kitchen and you pick it up there.“

“After seeing these tacos on Gareth Eats, I was so happy to find them at the PB Farmers’ Market within walking distance of my rental. I had the original Baja and IMHO, the better one, the Sweet Ginger. The fish is so tender, almost buttery. The tacos are huge, but messy. Fork came in handy. I feel very lucky that two of the top five Baja tacos, right here in Pacific Beach!“

They also at last minute, took on cake cutting! Niko, Sean and Scott were so professional the day of my reception and were just so friendly and just a pleasure all around. The food was amazing. I'm not a baked bean kinda gal, but I have to say these are by far the best ones I've ever tried. The jalapeños really added to them ?. The tri-tip was delicious and the chicken was juicy!
So the cake cutting was a fun one... they were so worried about cutting it wrong but they did great! We highly recommend them!“
“I’ve been going to Green Leaf Cafe for a while now since it’s near the building where I work, and it’s consistently great. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and welcoming. Over time they’ve even learned my name, which makes the experience feel a lot more personal.
The food is always solid, the coffee is excellent, and they’re super quick getting everything ready even during busy times. It’s one of those spots that just makes your day a little better. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.“

The owner, Tara, has been super polite and attentive to all my requests. She listened carefully and adjusted the board based on my needs beautifully. They were absolutely amazing, and if I had a dollar for everytime a guest told me how wonderful the drinks and service was - I would splash all that cash do my wedding all over again. They are incredibly efficient which meant that our guests never had to wait long to get a beverage (something that was very important to us for our day). “We had the opportunity to try Dang Brother Pizza Company during an event at the office tower where my company leases its office space, and it was a great experience.
The event was well organized, with a nice selection of pizzas, fresh salad, and cookies for dessert. What stood out the most was the quality of the pizza. The vegetarian pizza was one of the lightest and freshest pizzas I’ve had—well prepared, flavorful, and not overly heavy.
I also appreciated the excellent customer service. When I casually asked about vegetarian options, the chef immediately offered to prepare one if needed. The staff was friendly and took the time to point out which of the available pizzas was vegetarian.
Delicious food, thoughtful service, and a positive overall experience. I’d be happy to have their pizza again and would recommend them for office events and catering.“
“We recently ordered food from Mumbai Food Corner for a party. Food was just like homemade - delicious. While every dish was wonderful, our guests loved the Vada pav and Pav Bhaji even more. Spice level was appropriate for adults and kids. Their menu has a very wide variety of items to order from. They even suggested how much food would be sufficient for our group of party and it served well! Very authentic people to deal with. Would highly recommend Mumbai food corner!“
“Vendors, caterers, please please please listen to your clients, no matter how unusual their requests may be lol. I had a 90s themed birthday party for my 40th and wanted to be as on-brand as I could, and for me, that meant cafeteria food! lmao. I don't know how many caterers I reached out to and explained this to only for them to try to sell me tacos, tell me it was "too many options," or try to upsell me on hand-passed appetizers and food that was just not what I had envisioned. Originally, Luis had sent me a draft menu consisting of sandwiches and chips. Close but not quite there. After perusing their menus on their website I realized what I had wanted was all basically food from their kids menu! I reached out and let Luis know, almost expecting to be told they would not cater kids food for adults, but nope! Luis was more than accommodating and worked with me to curate a menu exactly as I had wanted it, down to the cafeteria trays and ice cream cups. I cannot thank Luis and his team enough for bringing my vision to life and not looking down their noses at it! Not only that, but everything was so flavorful. I had intended to bring home whatever leftovers there were so I could scarf down all the chicken tendies I could at 3 am lol, but my guests beat me to it! Everyone kept talking about the seasonings used and how tasty everything was. And I'm talking sliders, empanadas (think calzones), chicken tenders, fries, mash, and veggies! Thank you Eleazar Catering for helping make my party so epic! Cannot wait to work with you again in the future!“

“We were told by a number of friends that doing tastings with candidate caterers for our wedding would be one of the most enjoyable parts of our wedding planning - and they weren’t wrong! But Culinary Concepts stood apart by a lot, and we are incredibly happy that we went with them. Katie was our point of contact and she did such an amazing job helping us understand the whole process from the tasting to glassware rentals and then the big day. This was our most expensive option out of the set, but we truly believe it was worth every penny. Guest after guest noted to us how highly they thought of the food. And the staff was efficient, friendly, and discreet. We felt the “station” format that CC offered helped set the tone of “comfortable and relaxed” that we were looking for while keeping everything organized and on schedule. We’re writing this review exactly one year after our wedding which, according to many of our vendors, was one of the last that they held in 2020. A big thank you to the team at Culinary Concepts for the incredible memories - we can’t recommend them highly enough.“

“This place has been pulling up to my apartment almost weekly and I decided to give it a shot tonight. Admittedly I wasn’t expecting much, I was wrong. IT.WAS.AMAZING. I have lived in San Diego for my whole life and this was hands down the best quality quesabirra tacos I’ve had from a taco truck. Food was amazing price for the portion size. Definitely will be back to try more! Oh and the churros are really good too!
