“Momos are delicious. 10/10. You cannot go wrong with any vegetarian momos. Be it steamed, baked in a tandoor, or saucy (Jhol).

Breads are well-made to perfection. Curry was good, nothing spectacular. I look forward to trying other curries.

The dine in experience was excruciating. We were offered the pappadam immediately after we were seated. We waited 30 minutes for the momos (appetizer) to arrive and another 40 minutes after we finished momos for the main course (1 curry & 2 naan).

While we patiently waited 60+ minutes in total for our food, there were plenty of to go orders slinging out of kitchen every 2-3 minutes. I suspect this restaurant prefers takeout (they also offer discounts for takeout if I remember correctly).“

“Absolutely amazing experience at Baba’s Kitchen! The momos were hands down some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly steamed, juicy, and packed with flavor. The chowmein was just as impressive, with great texture and a delicious, savory taste that kept me going back for more.

On top of the food, the portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and the service is incredibly warm and welcoming. You can really feel that cozy, family-run vibe. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re craving authentic, comforting food. I’ll be back for sure!“

“We visited with friends and ordered Tandoori Veg Momo, Avocado Chaat, Garlic Naan, and Butter Chicken. The Tandoori Momo tasted rich and fresh. The Garlic Naan came soft and had a unique flavor. Everything arrived hot and well prepared. We plan to return soon with our office team.“

“I ordered dinner from this place through Uber Eats when I was extremely tired and looking for something satisfying but not too oily or greasy.

I went with chicken kothe momo and chicken seekh kebab. Both dishes were really good — flavorful, filling, and well-balanced without being overly heavy. The portions were satisfying, and the overall meal felt comforting.

I’d definitely order from here again.“

“Tried something entirely new eating at Urban Momo last week and it was incredible. I had the Gobi Manchurian, my partner had a curry, and we split a mixed fried rice and naan. Everything was flavorful, spiced (not spicy), fresh, and really delicious. Add great service and a cool location in San Mateo Market and this place is worth a trip. I don't live in San Jose, but if I did I would be coming here often. I've thought about our meal a lot over the past week!“

Very kind hospitable staff who promptly greeted me upon entering and helped me customize the exact meal that I wanted, mainly the absolute spiciest chicken momo they could make hee hee! Ordered delivery again after a few months - please support this awesome food truck! Best Nepalese food ever. If you say that you want extra momo sauce or spice in the food they'll actually take care of it.
They are always quick and are conveniently located at the el Camino junction. One of my favorite spots in the Bay Area! Prices aren't high as well for the quantity they give!

“I've been here about 20X and it's so good. Food is delicious, and there's a wide variety. I really like their Chicken Tikka masala, and the sauce that they use on their salad. It's a simple yogurt type dressing that you can ask on the side, and it's awesome!“
