“Overall, it's a good valiant effort to imitate a British Chippy, for Americans it might be ok, but for British folks looking for the real thing, might be a let-down. Still, it's worth a bite.“

“I love this place. It’s the kind of spot that makes this city so special. No fuss, just beautifully executed fried fish and chips, etc. It’s hard to do what this gentleman does. The genius of it is in not trying to make it something it’s not, keeping it ‘très authentique.’ Some people don’t get that, nor will they ever. It’s not T.G.I.McFunsters (RIP Bourdain); it’s Piccadilly on Polk.“

“The food was delicious 😋 my first time eating there. I always pass it up but this time. I had to have it....“

“Wow this place has great food and reasonable prices, and should really hire a image consultant. It has greasy diner vibes and lacks the airy inviting beach Cafe ambiance, I think they'd make a killing with an image makeover, a few salads on the menu, and an espresso machine. For now I'm charmed by the mom and pop vibes and the good very reasonably priced food. Very hidden gem hole in the wall flavor. I'll be back and I recommend checking it out. Also understated are the beautiful cliff views.“

“You can enjoy a regular clam chowder and fish and chips here at a reasonable price.
The chowder is good, but you can find better ones at other restaurants in Pier 39.
The view is nice, though you should expect a few birds to join you while you eat, the staff do their best to chase them away whenever they get inside the restaurant.“

“We just ordered a couple snacks and wine for a little kid outing but I really appreciated the service and the food we ordered was great (also didn't make us feel bad at all for just ordering some snacks)! The view from the large windows of the water was perfect for watching all the activity below, I loved the big yellow booths, coloring page, and comfy seating....it was a great experience and again, from start to finish they were EXCELLENT with being friendly and helpful! They even brought us some extra fries because they said "it took a little long"--- which was absolutely no wait to us (only 5 min or so) but I just was really impressed with their thoughtfulness and attentiveness. I would definitely come again! Thanks to the staff in on a Friday afternoon in August! Awesome!“

“Was strolling through the Sausalito neighborhood and decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The location is fantastic, overlooking the bay!
Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends. There are a few public lots nearby, but they can fill up quickly. I went on a weekday so I got street parking in a walkable distance.
As for the food, I ordered fish and chips and a beer. The portions are generous, making it great value for the price.“
