“I’ve been coming to Izzy’s for 35 years. This was the first time I’ve been back since the remodel 6 months ago. As usual the steaks and sides were fabulous. However, the four of us ordered several glasses of wine and the “pours” were pathetic! I don’t mind paying top dollar for a glass of wine but I don’t appreciate a 1/4 glass of wine that was barely two sips! Don’t try to pay off your remodel expenses by cheap skating your wine pours! “We had shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, wedge salad, 20 oz ribeye with a baked potato, and a banoffee tart for dessert. We split each course and the waitstaff had the chef plate it all separately for us which made sharing easier.“

“I visited without much expectation, but the burger was quite delicious! Since San Francisco is expensive, the price for a burger was on the higher side, but even considering that, it tasted pretty good. The other dishes also looked delicious.

“My new favorite place. Large sit-down dinners for only $14 to $23! Included with the meat entrée is a substantial side salad of deep green romaine lettuce with lots of veggies piled on top, bread done on the grill and baked potato OR golden buttery rice.
My meat has been properly cooked every time. Good service. I like the way the restaurant operates. Only teeny complaint is that I wish blue cheese dressing was an option.
This place is super well-connected for taking the bus.“
