“Food portions were huge. Rainbow roll was like jumbo size. Great deal for money.
We loved Sushi Nana. She came out and totally pampered our 2.5 yr old daughter with extra food and taking her to play with the kitty.
Kid-friendliness: The owner said to call her Sushi Nana. She brought out the chopsticks with the rubber bands on them to help kids to use them. Also brought out bowl of broth to clean off the spicy sauce from some noodles on the ramen bowl so my daughter could eat the noodles.“

“The food here makes my eyes roll back in my head and makes me moan while I eat it. It’s bonkers how good everything is. Bagels and pizza and seasonal items are off the charts. And the staff are lovely. Don’t hesitate! You will love it. The farmers market is a favorite of mine. Pizzas are off the hook too. And I love the golden milk from the coffee stand! The only complaint is I want them to be open longer!“

“I had lunch with a friend today and I wanted to try Soul Salad I was not disappointed. Fresh, flavorful and the customer service was top notch The owner offered to make me something special: he grilled me sesame crusted tofu and put it on the Wasabi salad. That was so cool and I appreciated it too. btw it was delicious I ate every bite I was also able to customize a salad for my husband. Thank you Team Soul Salad for an amazing lunch 🥰🙏🏻🥗“
“This club has been such a blessing in my life. For the past 18 years I have relished the physical and social uplift from my very regular visits there. Swimming by the ocean year round is the highlight of my day however I have taken advantage of many classes that Seascape Sports club offers. Re-opening after the lock down was such a relief! A daily dose of sanity.“

“Aroma Restaurant in Ben Lomond is well worth a visit, as much for the delicious food and fine decor as the friendly service. Mario, the owner, will charm you with Italian phrases, intermittent singing, and his friendly ways. He and his crew have done a bang-up job of modernizing and re-vamping the old Tyrolean Inn. We stopped in for lunch one day, great gourmet burger and fries and ceviche. The complimentary bread and olive oil/herb mix is top notch. There’s a nice beer and wine selection to go with our lunch. We are looking forward to returning at night for a cocktail at the beautiful bar and to sample dinner offerings. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they have authentic Mexican food, prepared by an authentic Michoacana. If you haven’t checked out Aroma, give it a try. You won’t be sorry!“

“My husband and I decided to check out the restaurant for lunch and it exceeded our expectations. We order the empanadas as a starter and they were absolutely delicious. The tocos we ordered were so yummy. They had such flavor, texture had depth. The wait staff were wonderful; professional, responsive, and always attending to our needs. We can't wait to return.“

“I recently got to visit chunks sandwiches for the first time since they redid the menu, and it does not disappoint. I ordered the turkey bacon and pesto sandwich, the Drayton, and the Reuben, and all three of them were delicious. The bread is soft, and the ingredients are high quality and delicious. The clam chowder is also really solid, and was a great side. The food came out piping hot, and the service was beyond kind. This is my favorite sandwich I’ve had in Santa Cruz, and is my new go to!
Parking: Lots of parking right out front.“

“Incredible fresh bagels made the traditional way. Many white flour and whole grain choices. Spreads and topping are homemade and delicious. The hummus is the best ever. Oh, and tasty soups are made daily. Their other locations are in Soquel and downtown Santa Cruz. You'll never want to eat a puffy "bagel"-with-cream-cheese again!
Vegetarian options: Mostly vegetarian. Vegan options, too.
Kid-friendliness: Way kid friendly. All 3 locations are casual.
Wheelchair accessibility: All 3 locations are wheelchair accessible. I'm not sure if they have public bathrooms.“

“The most incredible Italian food I’ve ever had! Nice that they have outside seating so diners can enjoy the beautiful California weather. Traffic just makes it a little loud. Very kid friendly too, with attentive waitstaff. Excellent experience!“

“The service is pretty fast here and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is huge and appears well staffed. It smells delicious in here. I have been where the lasagna and chicken parm
We’re both out for the night, but when you can get the tour of Italy to try the parm, the pasta and the lasagna. I’ve had the lasagna cake a few times and it’s super good. It’s super easy to fill up on salad and endless breadsticks“

“The better dining hall of the UCSC campus. The view is breathtaking. I have come here during my Sunday mornings for an omelet and coffe. Again this is a college dining hall, expect college students. It is not a restaurant, it is a college dining hall.“

“Because the name “The Picnic Basket” was such a turnoff, i had avoided eating here for years. I expected a retirement-paced cafe that was barely passing safety inspection but staying financially afloat due to its tourist-bait location.
So when i recently ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and avocado, my expectations were through the floor.
The breakfast burrito left me shook!!
There is a dark horse of culinary innovation working in that tiny kitchen and he’s making breakfast burritos on a whole other spectral plane!
Someone call France, the Michelin hommes are gonna want to get in on this.
Secondary restaurant factors i will happily endure to get another burrito in the future:
Service: cashier/food guys, totally great, A+. The drinks area by contrast felt like goodwill donation space for hot drinks. Not well defined, kinda cramped and awkward comparatively.
Atmosphere: if you enjoy the 11 minutes of waiting in a regional train station, squeezing past fellow travelers and seeking out a comfortable place to eat, the indoor seating is for you. (Outdoors is lovely tho)“

“So we found out that this place changed menus about 3 months ago and decided to come check out their happy hour. And this place is amazing with really good food and super good service and the person that runs the bar Lindsay made a fantastic Maitai for me. They have an extensive menu and a really good selection of sake, wine and spirits. The fries are out of this world. The portions are decent and the food tastes amazing.“

“It was my first time, and I got a handful of togo items and was very pleased.
The service was a bit slow but very friendly. The crisp veggie rolls and sauce were delicious, and the yellow curry was fantastic. The Pad-see-ew was a smidge on the dry side for my preference, but the shrimp were good quality, and the broccoli seemed a bit old.
I would eat there again though.
Definitely for the veggie rolls and curry!
Loved the decor too.
Vegetarian options: For the most part, you can make any dish vegetarian.“
