A special congratulations to Marina on your schooling — your mom was so proud as we chatted, and it was such a joy to witness that love and support. Moments like that make this place even more special.

“Ok, this is now my favorite boba tea place. The Ube Coconut milk is insanely good, even at 30% sugar level. They did not have purple rice so I substituted agar, which is so good. I also got an order of unsweetened jasmine tea and double agar. The price is right and the taste is to beat.

“This was my first visit to this Meet Up Boba location, (I had previously only gone to their location by Long Beach Poly), after my wife and I drove by it, looking for some quick snacks. Thankfully, similar to their other locale, the variety available to order is quite extensive. And all very tasty and satisfying. For this visit here, I ordered the horchata shake while my wife ordered the peach and black tea. We then paired those drinks with an order of their crunchy chicken. The drinks were exquisite and the chicken was crunchy, delicious, and filling. While this locale is a bit farther for us than the locale by Poly, it's good to know that the quality of the drinks, food, and service are uniform across both locations.“

“Love all the bopomofo cafes, I have to go every time I visit SoCal and every friend / family member Ive brought loves it, they use the freshest ingredients and have cool seasonal items like a scallion pancake wrapped chicken supreme wrap, guava matcha. You cant go wrong with the pineapple chicken sandwich, the strawberry corn drink, the shrimp walnut sandwich, etc. I love this place so much, the chicken is always very juicy. The employees are so nice and this place has wifi and a nice work space. Its also nice for dates and has a chill vibe (saw some people having their first dates here)“

“If I hadn’t parked to walk over to Lux Spa, I probably would’ve never noticed there’s a Happy Lemon in the same plaza.

We kept it simple and ordered the E3 Lemon Aloe Yakult ($6) and E1 Green Tea Yakult ($6). I make lemon and green tea Yakult drinks at home sometimes, but somehow the ones from a shop just taste better. It honestly brought me right back to the drink stands in Taiwan. Same nostalgic flavor. I guess I just don’t buy boba and specialty drinks that often anymore because there are way too many new Asian chains opening in the U.S., and I can’t keep up.

They’re actually known for their salted cheese foam drinks and egg waffles. If we hadn’t just eaten, I definitely would’ve added one.

Service was quick and the staff was friendly. I think I just found my go-to spot when I’m craving an authentic Taiwan-style drink.

“I was craving boba before a night out, so we made a quick stop.

Parking: Free parking lot. There’s a medium sized parking lot, so finding an open spot is easy.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with a couple tables and chairs. Seating is very limited. There’s cute wall decor and backgrounds for photos.

Service: We placed our orders at the kiosk. Throughput was quick & efficient after ordering. The two workers we encountered were courteous.

Drinks: I got the Matcha Brûlée, and my friend got the House Coffee with sea salt foam. The matcha brûlée came with brown sugar boba. I couldn’t taste the matcha bc the brown sugar was very overpowering. The boba texture was good. The brûlée swirls were very faint. Overall, the flavors could use some improvements. The house coffee was thick and creamy. The sea salt foam was okay; could be thicker with a bit more salt.

Pricing: Average prices for boba drinks nowadays. I’d visit again bc their milk teas are good, but I wouldn’t get the Matcha Brûlée again.“

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. “I went to Tapioca Express in Alhambra on Monday the 15th around noon. I ordered a Thai Tea, which is personally my favorite! I usually order Thai Tea ever where I go because I can't get enough. Haha, The two people that were helping me were Jo and Steve or Steven, I didn't quite hear the other employee name but it's somewhere along those lines. They were super nice! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with "Welcome to Tapioca Express!" It made me feel very welcomed, which is a feeling everybody should feel when they walk into a store. Since I always order Thai Tea, I just wanted to take a look at the menu and see what other options they had. They offered me other drinks but I had to stay with my usual. “I ordered the đậu xanh rau má (mung bean pasted with pennywort leaves) with half sweet and it was alright. The mung bean paste tasted old and plain, it slumped together and they didn't add much of it in the drink either. The taste of the leaves on the other hand is good, smell like the leaf itself not the artificial. So I can only give them 3pts. When I walked in the place was empty and they were all in the back , they didnt see or hear me w my friend walking in. I had to call them out to take my orders. The place also need a quick clean too“
