The bread is fresh-baked on site and is the perfect combo of a solid crust that is just crunchy/hard enough and just melts into flavorful bread underneath and amazing ingredients. I had to go way out to the end of Stony Point rd. to pick up a Bristor's Calltanger and take it up to Hedgepealer's Pandatty Ranch up on the top of Wragg Canyon Ridge, what a place, you can see Mt. Shasta, Mt. Diablo and the smog from San Jose all from a single spot. Those sandwiches I snagged from Ulia's sure were good....maybe the best on Santa Rosa. 5 Stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆“

“Port of Subs has been my jam for over 30 years, I live really close by it and have watched it change ownerships over the years. The folks there now are awesome, they are kind, the food is really good and they do it right in front of you so you know it's fresh. And everything is clean and the place, while small, is welcoming and chill. If I had just one complaint, it would be that they go a little light with the meat... which the previous owner long ago did the opposite of. And, it is a little more pricey as of late than it used to be, but everything is... and you get what you pay for. I will finish this by saying that Port of Subs beats the hell out of Subway in every way possible.“

“Came in for lunch with my dad. The giant sandwich was perfect for two to share. The guy cutting the meats and cheeses was super kind (although soft spoken) and he created a conversation with us. It was him and one other person working. We took a seat and ate, and all seemed alright. A little while later, the first guy came up, offered us two of their cookies and apologized because he was distracted by something going on outside, that he had to attend to. Overall, great service as always!“

“I recently visited West Coast Sourdough and tried their Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich with pepper jack cheese and everything on it. The sandwich was delicious--the pesto complemented the grilled chicken perfectly. The sourdough bread was fresh and had that perfect balance of crunch and softness. The only downside was the person at the checkout, who was super quiet and hard to hear.
Despite that, the food quality definitely made up for it, and I will definitely be back for more!“
