“Stopped by to try out your beers. Absolutely the best beers I’ve had in a while. Your Oatmeal Cookie Brown Ale knocked my socks off and if it wasn’t for me needing to drive home I would have stayed all day long. By the way that barrel aged version is heaven in a glass. Keep up the world class brewing.“

“This is one of our favorite places to enjoy a beer, glass of wine, and unpretentious but tasty food. They did also get their liquor license recently, but I’m so used to my regular beer/wine orders that I haven’t had anything else yet.
The staff is always on point, even at their busiest.“
“Good food and good ambiance! We arrived early and it was pretty empty but started to get busy by the time we left. I had the pork taco and steak taco. The pork one was delicious!“

“Everyone at Lawless is a pleasure to work with. We host a weekly game night on Mondays and they always have the best food trucks and excellent brews (seasonal and standards). You can’t beat the laid back atmosphere. DOGS are allowed which makes it an even cooler place to just come hang out, meet friends, play games, or even do work. We love LAWLESS!“

“Pretty much the only bar I went to before the quarantine, and I am thankful they have created a socially distanced patio so I can start going back.“

“This place has great customer service even during a packed World Cup game. This is our neighborhood bar and we’ve rarely if ever had a bad experience.
Disregard the previous review that was freaking out about the chairs. It happened right in front of us and the person was just there to look at their phone, not watch the game, not engage with the other patrons, nothing. It came off as entitled and sad. I’m disappointed to see them leave such an uninformed review“

“Really enjoyed our experience at Haru Sushi & Izakaya. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and everything came out nicely prepared. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. Only small thing—the miso soup could use a little attention, as it didn’t have quite the flavor we expected. Overall, a great experience👍🏽“
“We love Hand Brewed! Great chill place to hang out and have a good beer. They have board games and pinball, and are dog friendly (both inside and outside). They have a great pizza kitchen (and sandwiches/hot dogs) plus they also have food trucks occasionally and you can bring your own food. We go there a lot to watch Dodgers games -- they have like 8 big TVs and will put on the Dodgers rerun channel even if there isn't a current game on. Also the eagle nest cam!“

“This is easily one of my favorite places to eat near UCLA! I ordered the beef and lamb gyro Bowl, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were crisp, and the flavors blended so well together. Don’t skip the fresh fries—they’re hot, crispy, and addictive. Their new Pistachio cream frozen yogurt is also a refreshing treat after the meal.
What really stands out is the excellent service. Maribel provides some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. She’s friendly, professional, and always makes sure guests are taken care of. The restaurant itself is spotless, spacious, and comfortable whether you’re dining in or grabbing a quick meal. I’ll definitely be back!“

“Can I tell you how impressed I am with this l brewery it's so creative, it's so welcoming. The people are friendly. Nobody is hovering over you if you want to order something to drink or if you want to go purchase some food. It's just a vibe like the seats are amazing and it's comfortable. They have games everywhere, I must say. For my first time being there, I definitely want to come back. And I want to tell everybody about it. This is a must go place if you haven't tried it already. Having gone awesome, you can take your kids. How cool is that?So like for me that has kids who are a teenager. Now you can go here and watch the boss or baseball or soccer“

“The food is amazing, wait time is a big no no, it’s graduation season, maybe scheduled more servers? Also the music is VERY LOUD, I get the vibe, but when you have to yell to call your server it’s not ok. Please lower the music.“

“A touring band was cancelled as they were loading in because the opening band was sick? They had also sold tickets. Why book bands who have people coming to your venue if you cancel them as they are loading in?“
“Quaint little coffee shop like I used to find in Georgetown (Seattle), with stellar bean water and incredible baked goods. I had a drip coffee with ham and swiss croissant, and it was the best welcome to my new neighborhood I could have imagined. Also! They have a homie hookup discount, for neighborhood residents. Let them know!“

“Best bar in LA! Go for the mezcal, stay for the exceptional service and ambiance. I was a regular for many years, because everywhere else pales in comparison.
(Pro tip: Ask about recommendations from their exclusive mezcal selection.)“

“My girlfriends and I had the best meal at Zarape! We easily made a reservation online and they called to confirm 45 mins before. We had the cutest corner booth inside. We took advantage of their awesome happy hour deals and got the nachos (yummy real pepper jack cheese… not fake gooey queso) and the guac. We also got spicy margaritas for $10 each! They were so good. My friend and I split the chicken enchiladas and each got two shrimp tacos which was a great serving for us. The chicken enchilada was a big portion and so good with the green salsa. The shrimp on the tacos was big and tasted fresh :) we will definitely be back! Thank you to Jessica who was such a helpful and sweet server!“

“I love this place, my sister and me went here after going to 99 ranch. There was a wait, but not long. Feel authentic like real Italian. All server were very nice and they are all Italian so it feels very authentic as well. Very small Restaurant like hole in the wall, but when you have good conversation with group doesn’t matter. I will continue to go back and take my family here because they love Italian food. Bread with oil very good also feel authentic. Very loud inside because it’s small restaurant but not rowdy everyone specially customers are very nice and just talk amongst each. There are outside seating as well maybe two tables or three but it’s too hot outside so we requested to eat, I think we only waited no more than 30 minutes. I had the chef’s choice which was on the entrance menu and I really like it, I forgot what it was called, but it was seafood pasta. My sister had Pomodoro pasta and she like, food, not too heavy and we ordered another pasta to go I don’t remember what it’s called, but it had vodka in it Or the name.“

“I saw this place on instagram as being the oldest restaurant in SF. We dined in on the 4th of July at noon. Small parking area and street parking. No wait and plenty of seating.
The woman worked there was very helpful. We got half a fried chicken which takes 20-25 minutes and chicken Pad Thai. We then sat and waited. It is near a small airport and train tracks. This makes for interesting viweing if you like watching. A few minutes before the food came We were given 2 paper plates, 3 napkins each and plastic forks. She also gave us Sriracha and a bowl of Thai chili flakes. I did not try this, but it smelled delightfully smokey and spicy. The pad Thai arrived in a take out container and it was saucy and delicious. The chicken, also in a take out container, was a dipped batter style fried chicken, and looked glorious. The pieces are large and were too hot to eat immediately so we ate the thin style fries it comes with.
Chicken batter tasted great. Super crispy and although oily there was no oily aftertaste.
I am interested to try more menu items.“

“Hidden gem doesn't even begin to describe To Die For Sushi. Nestled in a humble space in Northridge, this place is so unassuming you might walk right past it--but don't. Because once you walk in and sit at the bar, you'll realize you've discovered one of the best sushi experiences in all of Los Angeles.
Chef Danny is a true artist. We had front-row seats to his craft and were mesmerized watching him turn simple ingredients into edible masterpieces. Every slice, every plate--pure precision and passion.
We shared a bento box with mixed tempura, mixed sushi, and sashimi, and were blown away by the variety and balance. The Heart Attack (fried jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and topped with spicy tuna) was absolute fire--bold, indulgent, and perfectly crispy.
The Toro and salmon were melt-in-your-mouth perfection--fresh, buttery, and honestly some of the best I've had anywhere in L.A.
Our server, Samantha, was fantastic--warm, attentive, and clearly knew the menu well. She made great recommendations and timed everything perfectly.
This place is a sushi lover's dream, without the pretense or the inflated prices of trendy spots. The prices are really affordable and the quality top notch. I have paid a lot more for so much less elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar--watch the magic happen, savor every bite, and thank me later.

“Was Craving a Fish Taco. Had them at the Sharky’s in Vegas where I live. VERY GOOD.“
“We were explained that they prepare a fresh batch of their slushies every morning, hence, they can't make modifications to already prepared cocktails.
The piña colada was amazing, super flavorful, but also super boozy, enough for me to get drunk with just one lol.
If you keep the cup and bring it, they would give you a discount on your following drinks.“

“I got there right when it opened on a Saturday so the parking lot was wide open. It has a good amount of free parking, especially for a place on Ventura. I could see how the lot could be full when the place is really busy though.
Staff was friendly and helpful. The menu is simple, not a lot of options which is actually kinda nice. This place is trying to do a few things and do them well.
I liked the burger quite it a bit. It's a very good smash burger. The best bite was with the pickle and onion. I wish there were a couple more pickles in the burger but I still very much enjoyed the burger.
The combo comes with fries and a drink, nice to see a place doing a combo these days an not just going a la carte on everything. I liked the fries, the cook and size were spot on. I only wish they had season salt on them, that would really take it to the next level. Even if they just had season salt shakers available I'd be pumped about it. The texture of the fry is great but the season salt would give it that extra bump.
The inside is lively and colorful and the modified movie posters with their food items added in is a hilarious touch that I enjoyed seeing.
I would not skip this place if you like smash burgers. Give them a shot, it's one of the best smash burgers I've had in LA.“
“We had the BEST DAY at this bar! Love this corner of the farmer’s market and our bartender, Gabe, had the greatest attitude, was quick to serve us all and always was laughing and smiling. Coming back for him and his top notch service. There was, though, a very inebriated woman who’d come from a different bar and tried to order beer here at close, and made a big scene when she was not sold more alcohol. Once again, Gabe to the rescue: very nice and professional; he rocks!“
“Ricardo was very attentive and knowledgeable about everything he brought out and even recommended some delicious teas to try out. Surprisingly, we were the only ones there for Hi-Tea, so if you're looking for a quiet, romantic spot to feel fancy, this is the place.“

“This place is great. Honestly maybe the best tacos I've ever had... or right up there. Why this place was empty on a weekday at lunch time is a mystery. Plenty of parking in the rear folks! If you love good food and you want better restaurants to open in our neighborhood, eat at these places! Otherwise we're just going to be stuck with Chipotle and Chilis.“
