Located at UTC, which is one of the most beautiful shopping mall in the heart of LA Jolla, thus there are so many things to do with friends around, not just drinking boba.However, their drink formula is TOO sweet, even with half sugar adjusted. Parking is only 2 hrs free, and if you want just to go for boba, walking and parking could be a hassle.

“This is a great choice for lunch. They have nice combo meals with food + tea. You do have to upgrade if you want a milk tea with boba but it is worth it (versus a standard tea). They don't ask for tip and they offer a staff discount. I like the crispy chicken or crispy pork steak extra spicy. I would caution that it is easy to forget and get the wrong tea without boba you need to be sure to specify. It would be nice if they asked as I guess most people want the tea with boba.“

“This place is so good. I wouldn't necessarily hang to work or study, but the drinks are the best. My favorite is the monster boba latte. It's an iced latte worth boba, then they drizzle brown sugar molasses down the sides. The windows are a bummer, you can hardly see out of them, but I'm a window cleaner so i notice these things.“
