“We got the not-so-pork banh mi and the tofu banh mi, both without mayo to make it vegan. The staff are super friendly and kind, and it was easy and straightforward to get the order veganized. The tofu banh mi was a bit plain (they offered us peanut sauce instead of mayo, which we had declined. Next time, we’ll say yes, haha!), but the not-so-pork banh mi was excellent. Would go back!! “I had a lovely visit to Tea Monk in Carlsbad! The customer service was great .everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

We ordered a mix of drinks including the taro milk tea (both hot and cold), plus some macaron ice cream. Everything was beautifully presented and enjoyable. The only small note: I had requested my hot drink to be less sweet, but it still came out a bit too sweet for my taste,and it was more warm than hot. Still, not a dealbreaker!

Overall, it’s a cute spot with great vibes and good drinks. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

“Tried La Jolla Boba for the first time and overall had a good experience. The staff members provided quick service while keeping their friendly attitude when they served our drinks. I ordered the Strawberry Matcha and the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie. The Strawberry Matcha provided a nice drinking experience because its matcha taste stayed delicate as it combined with strawberry flavors. The Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie was also good, creamy and refreshing.

The drinks maintained a consistent quality and the prices were reasonable at $7.50 each for the regular size. The shop was empty during my visit so I experienced complete silence while I relaxed there. A nice perk is that they vouch for parking, which makes stopping by more convenient in La Jolla.“

“I don’t play about this place! I go here allllllll the time with my friends and boyfriend. This is my favorite boba place because the drinks are a good size, amazing taste, their boba tastes so fresh and never too sweet or chewy, and they always make my drinks consistently good. They have an easy rewards system and fast service. I love how they changed their closing time an hour later because it was the only thing I wish was different. But I have tried almost everything and I like it all! My favorites are the uji green milk tea, coco latte, camo thai, and strawberry tornado! I reccommend trying to add foam or oreo to ur drink to make it even better. So glad this place is also in SD.“

“The best mochi donuts, Boba and ice cream in San Diego!! Pop in and grab a box for your office! We stopped by wanting a cold drink and something chewy and this place hit the spot! They have cool flavors like creme rules, cake batter, ube oreo, maple, toasted marshmallow, apple cider, cherry, glazed and chocolate mochi donuts and a huge variety of bobas! “We stopped by the Wushiland Boba in UTC while walking around the mall, and it was pretty good! Their menu is simple, and you can tailor the level of sweetener & ice when you order. The cashier recommended the orange (or was it grapefruit? I can’t remember lol) with yakult and it was delicious! If you’re a yakult fan, I highly recommend. My friend got one of their teas with oolong and it had a nice nutty, roasty flavor. If you like boba and are at the utc mall, I recommend stopping by this spot“

“I usually don’t to restaurants that are overly broad with the foods they serve, but I’m glad I did! This place is excellent. I shared the 2 x $25 meal (gyu-don and chicken karaage) and a salmon poke bowl. Karaage was super light and crispy and the gyu-don was exactly what I was imagining. The salmon poke bowl also great, with a mix of raw and seared salmon. The seared salmon was a great touch! Overall, everything was delicious and very good portions. I will definitely be returning to try some other menu items!“

“Customer service was good . However, the food was hard and really cold.We ordered at 10pm on a friday night and got 2 of the 8combos. Maybe thats why? but I feel like at least the rice or the sauce should be warm but sadly it wasn't. I dont think ill get it at night time or in general. Also for one of it there was gyoza and one wasn't so my bf got super sad with his.

New visit:
I gave it a second chance and it was quite good! The drinks ofc was 10/10 and customer service. The food was 100 times better than last time. It was warm and had the good flavor for the curry and the short ribs. Also the salad that came with it was fresh and thr gyoza was hot and crunchy. I think it was just bad last yime since it was near closing time. If you are at ucsd or near you should definitely try!“

“This place so super clean and the the food was amazing. Plenty of tables to eat and close by other options if you have a family like mine that can't agree on one type of food. I ate the Thai dunking noodle Veggie protein level 10 spicy with a strawberry Lemonade...And im was sooo satisfied with this dish. The Lemonade was freshly squeezed and perfect 👌. I got it as take out but the portion size was large and everything was truly perfect. The young lady who took my order was super kind and very informative of the food in question and very welcoming. I will come again next time im in this area. Great food.“

“This place is so good. I wouldn't necessarily hang to work or study, but the drinks are the best. My favorite is the monster boba latte. It's an iced latte worth boba, then they drizzle brown sugar molasses down the sides. The windows are a bummer, you can hardly see out of them, but I'm a window cleaner so i notice these things.“
