“We used Mexico City Cuisine for our wedding on 9/9/2022 and they were amazing! The food the night of the wedding was even better than the tasting we had. We also had them do a desert bar for us which included churros and icecream that was a hit! Not only did the food exceed our expectations, the workers helped set up our tables and place settings. They even helped with the cleanup process as well. I would 100% recommend them as your catering service as they go above and beyond!“

“Stefan at UCSD Catering was extremely helpful when my fiancée and I began planning our wedding at the Martin Johnson House on the Scripps Campus.Of the approved caterers, Stefan was one of few to immediately have a detailed conversation with me about the ins and outs of the venue, what potential options and setups could be, and how to compare pricing/offerings from different caterers.When we built a menu and proposal, communication was prompt and efficient. We were able to try different set up options, mix and match from the existing menu and modify plates to fit with what we were going for.Pricing on the menu was labeled per person, so it was super easy and transparent to see what the costs would be if we added or removed items. The proposal was also very clear on food cost, vs. staff cost, vs other fees.Compared to other vendors, UCSD's proposal looked like the best quality to price combo.Ultimately, we did not go with UCSD catering only because we were on a tight timeline and felt more comfortable going with an all-in-one catering solution.However, if you have the time (or a coordinator) I'd recommend the combo of UCSD Catering, Bella Beverage Catering, and Cedar and Pine Rentals.“

I ordered the Sampler plate the #1 it had a big portions of each item everything tasted delicious the cornbread was moist and the garlic bread was toasty. “ordered a burrito to go (which i paid for in-store) and i left right away to go deliver an order from porkyland to their mobile delivery customer, as to not waste time. when i went to pick it up, after the delivery loop, it wasnt there ..so they said they could make another but that theyd have to charge me again for the same burrito and said to look around in a few days to see if they charged me for the first burrito. boo ! where is the customer service there !? wont be back even if its good lol 😝 i sat there for about 10 minutes to decide what to do, since i had just driven 40 minutes out of my way to
pick up this already paid for burrito. after realizing i was quite frustrated, i bought the second burrito (which was really just still the first burrito). i tipped well both times so i actually paid $38 for one carne asada burrito. they didnt really seem like it was a big deal that my burrito was missing. i would avoid this place, just on that alone
