The atmosphere with its turf and play area was nice for families, especially those with young children and those like us with our Collie and Golden Retriever in tow. I really want to love this place, as it's a local mom n pop shop and convenient for sandwiches, however, this is the second time in the last 3 months we have been overcharged.

Today I ordered a "lite lunch" 3" Tuna which includes a drink. I also ordered a 6" Ham and cheese combo- I ordered an extra bag of chips to complete both meals and was charged for 2 drinks + a medium combo. In short, I was charged for an extra drink at 2.90

The last time we came, we ordered 1 Meatball, 2 ham n cheeses, and made 2 a combo. All sandwiches were 6", however we were charged 2 combos and 2 drinks.

Either combo only means chips, which is 4.85 for a bag, or we are getting double charged for drinks.“

This girl must cook organic, cuz you’ll leave feeling satisfied and fulfilled without any guilt of getting your glucose shot up like with usually compared dishes or getting your immune rung up through the ringer from processed or “enriched” ingredients. You can tell she clearly paid attention in culinary school since she cares about quality.
On my first visit I had the tomato soup with a grilled cheese +bacon($2 added charge). The tomato soup seemed to be freshly made and the sandwich had 3 large crispy bacon slices on 2 large sourdough slices. Its snuggled inside a business complex, you’ll have the quiet rumblings of cars and on occasion small planes landing and taking off from Carlsbad airport next door if you sit outside. Inside sitting available. Great job ladies keep up the good work.

The sandwich was bigger than I expected and was enough to fill me up (I was hungry and had thought about ordering two sandwiches). Great service, and a friendly team. I had a Turkey club and it was pretty solid—everything tasted fresh and there was a reasonable amount of meat. The secret sauce they give on the side kind of reminds me of a tangier, thinner-bodied In-N-Out spread. Wait time wasn’t bad, although the store was busy, and it was also fairly clean inside. Overall a decent spot for a decent sandwich, but nothing to shout about necessarily.“
