“This place is low key amazing Thai food. Who knew a little spot in a business park could produce some of the best Thai food in town! The staff is great and working hard to handle all the customers (read dumb)that don't understand how to order food or wait in line.“

“Excellent Thai food in a beautiful setting. You will love the ambience, the food and the service.
The place is nicely decorated, the most beautiful food I have been to. Everything we tried was excellent, cannot recommend highly enough.
The roti and curry is delicious and a must try. Soups are nice and perfect for winter nights.“

“Very Friendly Atmosphere. The level of spice I asked for is just right amount. I love the taste of my Pad Thai and the noodles is cooked perfectly, its not soggy nor too firm.
I love the thai tea with boba as well, it is on the bigger portion but it tastes great! It’s not too sweet not too bland and the boba is very soft not harden or sits there for too long, you can tell it was made fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Vegetarian options: There are some Tofu and vegetables only dishes!
Kid-friendliness: Has high chair if needed!“

“The lunch specials here are awesome (available until 3pm) - great combo plates with won tons, spring rolls, salad, rice and cup of soup - and don't forget to get some Thai iced tea! (Dinner service is a la carte). I love the Panang Curry with Roast Duck, as shown in my photo. Traditional lunch hour is quite busy and a short wait for a table should be expected. Later in the afternoon (e.g. 2:30) is very tranquil. I can personally attest that Spices has been providing fantastic food and excellent service for decades. A reliable go-to for the best Thai food in San Diego (if you ask me).“

“Absolutely outstanding - best Thai food we’ve had outside of Thailand. Noodles had that elusive awesome wok hay flavor (I know that’s a Chinese concept but not sure how to describe the Thai equivalent). Our server was super friendly and efficient- food came out lightning fast. We ordered the fried eggplant, the basil stir fry with beef, and the Chow Fun with tofu. Only wish we had more people in our party so we could try more things.“

“First Visit—Pixel took my order and was very friendly and helpful. Food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. Fresh Rolls (4 pieces) were tasty with very yummy peanut sauce. Pad Prik King with Beef was delicious. It’s a bit pricey for the vibe and the fact that you have to order, pickup your own food, and clean up your own table, yet still asked to tip (I did give $5 bc Pixel was so great). But it shouldn’t be required or even truly expected! Total $32!
This is a small storefront within a larger Food Hall at The Windmill Food Hall.
Outside seating could be better if it wasn’t blocked by the fence without any view. Inside seating is large yet dark and unappealing. Again it’s for All the food places altogether. There’s plenty of parking—large, Free parking lot.“

“I honestly only ever eat Chicken Pad Thai when it comes to Thai food and honestly this place doesn’t do it too poorly. The chicken can be a hit or miss. I’ve had the driest nastiest chicken breast sometimes, but then i’ll go and it’ll be some really decent chicken thigh.
I also have to say that I like how spacious the interior is and the proximity to the restrooms. You can get there, wait a little until a table is free and then just drop your stuff off while you wash your hands and settle in. I go to the General Store before coming here and get all my drinks there (1$ Arizonas).
Overall, it’s a solid place. Definitely not DAYGOEATSCERTIFIED✅ but I can say that I approve and if you want Thai food in a pinch here on campus, this is not a bad contender.
I also would ask for no green onion (Idk why I didn’t like it at this place).“
