“I come here a lot with my husband and friends but today was very disappointing. I ordered a torta de asada and was very upset. 5 pieces of black aguacate and half a piece of tomato for the entire torta. Than my husband ordered some tacos and the meat wasn’t seasoned and half of the meat was burned. We are very disappointed we have never been disappointed before this is one of our favorite places to go eat. Today the people working their looked new we paid $37 for our food and are upset.“

“This was the first time trying WezzArepas and it did not disappoint! The arepas were perfectly crisp and cheesy with a hint of sweet! The empanada was flavorful with a generous amount of chicken. Lastly, the Salchipapas could easily feed 2 people. It was generously topped with lots of flavorful ingredients. We will def be back!“

“Let me just say I recently discovered this secret little gem. I enjoyed the mushroom coffee drink. I felt great after I drank it. I also ordered another café late and it was good too. It's at a gas station in north Pasadena in the back. The owner is a delight and excited to talk about his coffee. He is a coffee afficionado for sure. I will be back.“

“I love this spot, the owner is such a nice and cool guy. The food speaks for itself. I understand that flautas are made at home and are a stable but don’t bash on them until you have tried them. My favorite flautas are the chorizo con papa which is a home made pork sausage with potato. All the sauces compliment the flautas. “The food was great!! Their ceviche is cooked with lemon, so it is tasty. Their empanadas are the size of a regular tortilla folded in half, so they are not small. Their large fish tacos are twice the size a regular taco - beware!!! Our order was to go and it was a pleasant surprise to see we weren't missing anything. Their salsas are very good too.

Parking: This is not s restaurant. It us a truck, so you need to drive around snd find parking, but it is worth it!“

One time they got my order wrong and gave me 2 asada tacos instead of 2 Al Pastor tacos, they gladly fixed the issue and gave me the 2 Al Pastor tacos that I ordered and I kept the other 2 they gave me at first. “This place is great and something I've been wanting to try for awhile and glad I didn't finally.

I had their barbacoa tacos guisados which was very tender and with cheese added. Their salsa bar added a lot to flavor to it and the barbacoa was very tender. Their chikali taco comes with beans and guacamole and I got it with carne asada. The asada was charred very well and seasoned very well also. The beans went well with it and were not soggy. The staff was very nice and helpful in describing what was available, popular, recommended and what they thought it should have.

There's some seating next to their shop which is convenient. Their agua frescas was very good also according to my friend. It was his favorite place so far when I took him the multiple taco joints in east LA.

“Tacos Los Carnales is where it's AT!! My family and I keep coming back for more because we couldn't ask for a better meal for about $10 each, depending on what you get! I usually get the vampiros de camarones a la diabla and they are perfect ?? Tastes like a homemade meal with handmade tortillas and delicious salsas, not to mention grilled onions, jalapeños, beans, and consome to self serve. It's a good meal for any occasion! They open after 6 though, so it's only for dinner occasions ? (PS. Ate the vampiros too fast and forgot to take a picture next time!

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of quesadillas and beans to go around! ? There's a veggie burrito as well! I'm pescatarian myself, so I opt for shrimp. But worth a stop for the quality??

Kimberly who was the cashier and assisted us by taking our order- was kind enough to let us try Carne asada tostadita (since I did inquire what this was) and OMG!! The asada was bursting with flavor and juice! I cant stand when you end up with dry meat! it was perfectly salted to taste. The beans were also perfect and not bland nor overpowering!My girl is a plain jane and ordered asada tacos- But not me lolI ordered a buche burrito with only meat and cheese (onion/cilantro) A taco of chorizo, cabesa and lengua and all four meats were exceptionally seasoned! “It was my first time at this park. We were there for a birthday party. Considering that there was a baseball game and 4 birthday parties going on, the park was not overcrowded. We had a lovely time.

Playground: There's a paddling pool for toddlers. They really enjoyed the water.
There's also a batting cage and a designated baseball zone. Plus, they have the regular swing sets and the slide.“
