“I come here a lot with my husband and friends but today was very disappointing. I ordered a torta de asada and was very upset. 5 pieces of black aguacate and half a piece of tomato for the entire torta. Than my husband ordered some tacos and the meat wasn’t seasoned and half of the meat was burned. We are very disappointed we have never been disappointed before this is one of our favorite places to go eat. Today the people working their looked new we paid $37 for our food and are upset.“

“My first visit here was a great experience! The cashier was friendly, which set a positive tone right away. The restaurant has TVs placed around the dining area, so customers can stay entertained while waiting for their food. I also loved that they let you pour your own condiments on the side, adding a nice personal touch. The food was ready in just 10 to 15 minutes, which was impressively quick. “One of the best coffee spots in Pasadena! Love coming here to get my caffeine fix in. I've tried most of the menu and you honestly can't go wrong picking any drink. They offer hot and iced coffee as well as matcha and a few pastries. The owners are extremely kind people who clearly love what they do and it shows. “I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“I stopped by this taco truck after my usual taco stand wasn’t open—and I’m glad I gave it a try. I ordered the buche, carnitas, pastor, and cabeza tacos. The carnitas and cabeza were the best—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right.

I also had the carne asada fries, which were hearty and satisfying. The guacamole in the carne asada fries is seriously addictive, and their salsa, along with the pickled jalapeños and red onions, added a fresh, tangy kick.

At $2.50 per taco, the prices are reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back.

“Sooo good!! I've been to the food truck multiple times by my house and the donuts are always fresh and delicious! They have a lot of toppings to choose from so there's something for everyone. “We were there Saturday night for my friend's bday. It was during dinner rush hour,the place was very busy so we didn't mind waiting a bit.We sat at the newly built bar,food was excellent! “Sumo taco is excellent. Quality of meat and fried cheese shell is cooked to perfection. Sauces are light but not watery with excellent flavor. The green sauce is spicier than the red. The Half & Half nachos and fries were AMAZING. Again, the quality of the meats (I loved the asada thr best) and the perfectly cooked fries and homemade chips were perfect. Nice size plate as well.“

“This place is great and something I've been wanting to try for awhile and glad I didn't finally.

I had their barbacoa tacos guisados which was very tender and with cheese added. Their salsa bar added a lot to flavor to it and the barbacoa was very tender. Their chikali taco comes with beans and guacamole and I got it with carne asada. The asada was charred very well and seasoned very well also. The beans went well with it and were not soggy. The staff was very nice and helpful in describing what was available, popular, recommended and what they thought it should have.

There's some seating next to their shop which is convenient. Their agua frescas was very good also according to my friend. It was his favorite place so far when I took him the multiple taco joints in east LA.

“This area of highland Park which is to say the stretch of North Figueroa Street from avenue 26 all the way to eagle Rock Boulevard is a little bit of a mariscos desert, other than the shrimp tacos at La Estrella. (El pescador is overrated) So it was very exciting to find out about this truck. Excellent service -- outstanding campechana, savory in a peppery way that was welcome. Shrimp tacos were outstanding . Very convenient and even at lunch time there wasn't a long wait“

They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. They have a lot of picnic tables and a gazebo to sit under there are two parking lots and they have a wading pool for the kids and they also have a place called The hitting zone which is the batting cages that are there that you can rent out to perfect your batting your swing whatever it's a very nice park off of Florence and pioneer actually it's pioneer in Lakeland it's right across from St Pius X Catholic Church“

“Tacos Los Carnales is where it's AT!! My family and I keep coming back for more because we couldn't ask for a better meal for about $10 each, depending on what you get! I usually get the vampiros de camarones a la diabla and they are perfect ?? Tastes like a homemade meal with handmade tortillas and delicious salsas, not to mention grilled onions, jalapeños, beans, and consome to self serve. It's a good meal for any occasion! They open after 6 though, so it's only for dinner occasions ? (PS. Ate the vampiros too fast and forgot to take a picture next time!

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of quesadillas and beans to go around! ? There's a veggie burrito as well! I'm pescatarian myself, so I opt for shrimp. But worth a stop for the quality??

Food is amazing always cooked to literal perfection or as close as possible because we are human.
