“We ordered 4 Taiyakis for only $12. Then the owner was so sweet! She offered a 5th one for free. Got our fresh Taiyakis after pager rang quickly! All flavors were great: Red bean, apple, custard cream, mango, and chocolate filling within freshly baked crunchy shells. We almost wanted to order another round if we were not on the way of leaving Little Tokyo Market. Must try again next time!

“This amazing taco stand is set up in a parking lot with plenty of parking, making it super convenient. There are four organized stations: one for tacos, one for other items, plus a drink station and a salsa bar.
The meat was incredibly flavorful, and they serve it with onions, a grilled pepper, and a small potato. After trying several taco storefronts in the area, this stand easily tops the list.
A must-visit for taco lovers looking for great flavor. Four tacos was $11. No seating but you can sit in your car.“

“Well, to be honest I went to pick up a meal for someone. I tried so hard to find the building but could not. I drove around a lot, then I notice a food vehicle. I saw the name of the company I was told to go to, so I jumped out and ran over to a man close to it, and he notified me that the food service vehicle he was in was where I was to pick up the food I was there to pick up for their customer. He was so very, very helpful to me that I was thankful to have stopped at the right place. I must say that the person I told I would pick it up for loved and enjoyed the food a lot. So, now I know where to go, and I am always very impressed with excellent customer service, which I did receive there.“

“Progressive Japanese food that focuses on simplicity and freshness showcasing technique. They highlight their eel and we got the whole one to share. It can be a bit intimidating for people not familiar and a bit simple but the effort to prepare takes a lot. For the price, I wish it came with a side of rice or something to complement it. I really enjoyed the Tofu and Eggplant dish also. The Eggplant was super unique and cooked in a way I haven’t tried before and was very flavorful with a dark miso crust. The Corn and Sausage was unique too and presentation was pretty cool. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Shaved Ice for dessert. Great way to end!! Overall, the food is on the lighter side so if you’re looking for hearty or indulgent food this may not be the best pick. They serve smaller plates that are good to share between two people or a small group. Service was great though and super friendly.“

The sauce was spicy as it should and the onion cured with serranos was perfect for eating alone like a taco. We had asada, buche and chorizo and it didn't disappoint. “We were there Saturday night for my friend's bday. It was during dinner rush hour,the place was very busy so we didn't mind waiting a bit.We sat at the newly built bar,food was excellent! If you want awesome authentic flavors,they can deliver for sure! Very nice atmosphere,the place was inviting, spotless clean and we had an awesome time. “Food always hits here, especially the Al Pastor tacos. Everything is freshly made there with amazing flavor. They have a table with enough condiments to add to the food you get. One time they got my order wrong and gave me 2 asada tacos instead of 2 Al Pastor tacos, they gladly fixed the issue and gave me the 2 Al Pastor tacos that I ordered and I kept the other 2 they gave me at first. I have lived in whittier my whole life and I can say that the food from this food truck is the best from any other food truck I've had.“

“We had an early dinner here on a Wednesday prior to a theatre tech rehearsal. Despite the troubled neighborhood, this place is an urban oasis and has a safe parking lot. We told our kind wait person, Sierra, about our time crunch. Meals came out within 10 minutes of giving our order. The gourmet Mexican food is mucho delicious and the happy hour prices (on both food and drink) made our experience a delight.“

“Tacos La Guera is a fantastic taco truck that you absolutely need to try! The moment I approached, the delicious aromas promised a great meal, and they did not disappoint.
The menu features a great selection of tacos, and I couldn’t resist trying a few different kinds. The carne asada was incredibly tender and flavorful, while the al pastor had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. Each taco was topped with fresh ingredients, and the homemade salsas were a delightful addition!
The service was quick and friendly, which is always appreciated when you're on the go. The vibe is casual and inviting, making it a great stop for a satisfying meal.

“This place is great and something I've been wanting to try for awhile and glad I didn't finally.
I had their barbacoa tacos guisados which was very tender and with cheese added. Their salsa bar added a lot to flavor to it and the barbacoa was very tender. Their chikali taco comes with beans and guacamole and I got it with carne asada. The asada was charred very well and seasoned very well also. The beans went well with it and were not soggy. The staff was very nice and helpful in describing what was available, popular, recommended and what they thought it should have.
There's some seating next to their shop which is convenient. Their agua frescas was very good also according to my friend. It was his favorite place so far when I took him the multiple taco joints in east LA.

“My partner got me the chicken bowl with the fried rice it’s one of my favorite we have tried other places, but nothing compare Bauchi yaki at downtown la it hit different. I try other noodles at other places I was not pleased so I was scared to get the noodles from them but no regrets Their noodles are so delicious. They’re so thick and the garlic butter. It taste so good. Plus, their customer service is to the top“

“Honestly, these are some of the best tacos I've ever had, their al pastor tacos are amazing, and the tripa frita are awesome. They also have burritos and quesadillas. Everything they have is so good. Great customer service, very friendly overall a great place for a quick bite.“
