“Definitely the best spot for fresh seafood if you’re in the Downey/South Gate area and surrounding cities. I was looking for some shrimp for some aguachiles to make at home and came across this place on Google. I stopped by and took a box of their 13/15 shrimp. Very fresh shrimp, it was already peeled and deveined, perfect for the aguachiles! They also had all the vegetables needed to make my aguachiles so that saved me a trip to the supermarket, also very fresh vegetables! I grabbed a special they have going of 2 mojarras and a pound of shrimp al mojo de ajo to try out their food at home and everything was delicious! Very fresh shrimp with great quality taste and their food was delicious..I’ll be back soon for more!“

“Small restaurant.When coming here I enjoy getting their pupusas for take out. Very rarely eat in.They mostly speak Spanish so for me there's a little bit of a language issue. I guess on a fundamental level they are good with customer service. For their patients mostly and for not rejecting me and/or some other negative experience.Would I go again? Yes for spontaneous urge for pupusas.Would I recommend? Yes, I Encourage at least a few visits. To draw own personal feel. Support small business that has great pupusas, plus potential good food.“

I must say their food is delicious, the presentation is very appealing & their service has been consistent & pleasant. I would highly recommend you come in & try it for yourself. “I try not to review any business unless there are multiple visits, at least three, this is to reduce the possibility of catching a business on one of their less than stellar days. This place however moved me to write this review after two visits, this came to be because after commenting with some of my neighbors about this place (we live a few blocks away from the restaurant) they had the same experiences so here is the end result, a well deserved five star review. My family and neighbors agree that the food is delicious and the service warm and friendly, on top of that there are many items on the menu under $10.00 , which means that a couple can easily have a home styled meal with drinks (agua fresca) for under $30.00 including tip! Give them a try, I don't believe you will be disappointed.“
