“What can I say been following these guys from back in the day when they where that rolling food truck couldnt wait to try them and boy I'm glad I came in, let's start with the spot great touch I like the designs they put up on the walls and all around really nice spot . Service even tho this is not a sit down restaurant like fine dine dinner it's service is a 10 out of 10 great customer service really genuine this place will go along way with this kind of service now moving along with the food I had a beef sanguchon fries tacu tacu and a quinoa salad everything was really tasty I really thought they lost there touch but I was wrong tasted just like I remember them amazing flavors . Congratulations on this amazing place may the future be more then prosperous.“
“Decided to explore the sunset and came upon this new place. It surprises me as this was finally a nearby location for queso birria tacos. It also got my attention as the sold salvodorian beer and much more . Food had a nice kick to it but I will for sure come back for the quesabirria“
“This is more of a to-go place than a nice restaurant to eat at. But their food is high quality!! It's my go-to spot for salchipapas, they've got the best ones I've ever had. And their empanadas and alfajores are excellent as well!!!“
“Food was great! really enjoyed the atmosphere. I brought my mother here for dinner. We made reservations and no issues at all. The room has this rainforest vibe, love the butterflies on the walls. We ordered Lomo Saltado and the size of the dish is good. the meat, you can taste the leche de tigre to add the extra flavor. They don't have liquor license as of yet.“
“The food is amazing! We got the Ceviche Limeño de Tuna as our appetizer. It was delicious, a beautiful lemony tang. One of the best tiger milks I’ve had in the USA.As our main entre we had La Gran Jalea and Lomo Saltado. It is a huge portion and would recommend as a family dish. You can share with +4 people it’s a grand portion. All the seafood that comes in the dish is fried and crispy. The sauces are everything, but do not miss out on the salad that comes with the dish! It compliments the fried food well! The lomo saltado was so tender and juicy. The vegetables and fries keep their integrity which is sometimes hard to do with Lomo Saltado. Highly recommend! The service was also swift and attentive. The ambiance is lively with great Latin hits. I’d recommend for a girls night out to get the vibes started.“
“The meals was just delicious. Wouldn’t have it no other way.Vegetarian options: Just read the menuDietary restrictions: OptionalParking: First spot grab it are just park in the parking lot across the streetKid-friendliness: Just amazingWheelchair accessibility: Yes and very helpful“
“Sat at the bar and really enjoyed the drinks and the food, along with the view. Service was great, and it was fun exploring their creative cocktail list. The Lomo Saltado roll and the fries were fantastic. I've been here a couple of times now....highly recommended!“
“I’d seen this place many times and as the Japanese restaurants I tried to go to were all closed I thought I’d give it a try. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The room was attractive and the music good. There’s other things I want to try now. I had steak strips with tomatoes and onions. It was different from Mexican food. The price was reasonable for SF and it came out fairly quickly“
“I can’t give enough praise for this restaurant. Had a most amazing dinner here, for our 10-Year anniversary. The Arroz con Pollo and the seafood pot pie were delicious. The flan for dessert was perhaps the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot, since it’s my favorite dessert of all). The chef/owner was so friendly, as was our server. You simply can’t go wrong with this intimate yet unpretentious small restaurant!“
“Food was unbelievable! I forgot the name but their in house drink is spectacular. The ceviche was probably the best I've ever had. The fried calamari was fantastic and the sweet potato dish was almost too good to believe! The music was awesome and is loud so be ready to use your outdoor voice to speak to your party! Oh, and the hospitality is second to none!“
“Food was good, ordered the chefs tasting course meal , service was ok , previous experience was better , nice ambiance , but was notified by one the employees that one of the heater was not working because it will turn off and just gas comes out but earlier went asked to turn them on they turned so we were exposed to gas for a little bit“
“The ceviche here is truly top notch. I've tried so many places around the Bay and so many have been overpriced and didn't taste as good as this place. Portions are also generous. Wouldn't come here for a fancy date but def for casual eating. Service is nice and friendly.“
“Heard about this new place on IG and knew I had to give it a try. Peruvian food is one of my top 3 so I was so excited. The restaurant is located on the industrial side of Cesar Chavez, right off 280. There aren't any other restaurants or bars nearby. Plenty of parking during dinner on a weeknight. The ambiance is causal and spacious. All the staff were attentive and very nice. Even the chef came out to ask us how our dinner was and thanked us for stopping by. All the flavors are there and each dish was really pretty. My favorite had to be the tallarines verdes. We ordered them as a side dish which isn't an option on the menu, but the chef accommodated us. Only thing I wish was that they had more wine options. But I'm sure that'll improve with time. Here's what we ordered: Lomo Saltado with Filet Mignon-10/10 Bistec a Lo Pobre-8/10 (wish my egg was a little more runny but still soooo good, could have done without the fries) Tallarines Verdes-10/10 Pisco Sour-9/10 It wasn't very busy which is expected being that it's fairly new. I really hope more people hear about this place because the food is solid! Excited to try more from their menu.“
“We ordered the causa de pollo, it was very good, the fried yuca, it was very tasty, but it was a tiny portion. It's the reason why I am giving it 4 stars. Yuca is not expensive, the portion should be double the size! The huancaina sauce was amazing! The lomo saltado was maybe the best I have had in San Francisco. And it was a huge amount. Strange how some dishes are such a small portion and others are so generous. I totally recommend the place, other than some dishes really having minuscule portion sizes. Please fix this so I can give you five stars!“
“We came for an early lunch and I liked the vibes! There was a brunch menu along with their regular peruvian dishes. You can tell that they use high quality fresh ingredients in all their dishes. Their empanadas and roasted chicken dishes were my favorite of what we ordered.“
“I brought my entire crew to have a Peruvian meals experience. Everyone agree about the great taste and flavor. The customer service was amazing. We tried “Lomo Saltado” and “cebiches.” Delicious. I highly recommend “La Ronda Restaurant.”“
“We ordered the aji de gallina, bolitas de yucca, pescado ceviche, and tequeños. My favorite dish was the bolitas. The aji de gallina was good but not the best I've ever had. My friends who are into sweets really liked the tequeños. I probably would not get the ceviche again.Great pisco sour and great service!“
“The food was very tasty and the portion sizes aren't too small! I hear it gets busy for dinner, but it wasn't too busy at lunchtime. We got:Tacos Birria- Absolutely to die for. The braised meat was so tender and juicyPupusas- Very good, not too greasy, and the pickled veggies were fresh and crunchyFried plantains- cooked well, not too greasy or soggy“
“I would highly recommend this restaurant. Jenny the owner was so accommodating to my family. The restaurant was closed on Mondays and they allowed us to have a memorial luncheon to celebrate the life of my Mom who was Peruvian and passed away in December. The menu that we selected was food that my Mom had prepared many times over the years for a family. All who attended the luncheon could not stopped talking about the food and excellent service. You can't go wrong with ordering their Pisco Sours, empanadas and cerviche, just to name a few of the delicious plates.“
