“Tita's Kitchenette is a go-to for classic Filipino comfort food that feels homemade. The portions are generous, flavors are rich, and dishes like adobo and lumpia hit that nostalgic note. It’s a small, no-frills space that gets busy, especially around meal times. Service is quick and friendly. Not fancy, but reliably satisfying when you’re craving something hearty and authentic.“

“I love the lumpia !! You really have to order in person as they rarely answer the phone and the hours are limited !! But the lumpia is so worth it!!! However ... their building on 38th is being sold and I stopped there on 4/12 and no one was there :( On my previous visit on 3/30 I was told they would be finding a new spot and would update their Facebook !! So I'm on here looking for updates !!!“

“The ube pandesal is 🌬👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽 so freaking good. Highly recommend it! I ordered the loganisa dish and it was a good sized portion. The bowl of food was prepared very neatly, and you can tell the cooks actually take their time cooking and prepping this food for you. Check them out if you can!“

“No joke the best mexican food place by far. I was questioning my choice in buying because i spent $25 for a large pacman fries which is the most ive spent on carne asada fries. But once my order came out i knew it was worth the money. This can feed a family and take days to finish by urself. Also the menu options are amazing and love the filipino additions! Would recommend to everyone.“

“Best hopia baboy in all of San Diego County. Might even be the best in all of Southern California, but I haven’t visited every place that sells hopia baboy just yet. I was disappointed to learn that another hopia place I like didn’t even have pork ingredients in their hopia baboy, which goes against the name, but this is unfortunately commonplace at Filipino bakeries. Since Ching’s primary focus is hopia rather than something else like pandesal or other baked goods, the hopia baboy remains authentic with real lard and no artificial flavors.“

“I haven't been to Zarlitos in so long, maybe even years and nothing has changed! I came in wanting a simple Filipino breakfast and I found exactly that here!
I walked in and the restaurant was pretty big inside with lots of seating and it was nicelt decorated. The host sat me right away and gave me a menu. I did have to ask for water though but that's okay because there were only two people working from what I could see and there were a lot of take out orders coming in.
Initially, I asked for a small bowl of sinigan and they sais they only do large orders so i decided to skip it. I ordered the beef silog with a side of spam and lumpia. The beef was well seasoned but a little tough honestly, it was still really good the eggs were cooked perfectly, sunny side up and nice and runny. The garlic rice was a nice balance to the dish as well. The spam was cut at a decent thickness and added a good depth of flavor to the meal. And the lumpia was alao pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but still very enjoyable.
Overall it was good ans worth a visit if youre looking for a nice homemade meal.“

“Never knew there were so many filipino restaurants in this area. I'm all the way in encinitas so where I am there's only one really good place and another that I know of in san marcos. I have to come back and try different dishes next time to see if my review changes. I'd love to try the milk fish and aroz caldo. I just had the chicken and rice which was good and more than enough for portion sizes. I got two sides and had I know how big the side would have just got one. In the picture I had already ate a few pieces of chicken. I also bought a bag of pandisal not sure how you spell just grew up having it but it was a great price and tasted great.“

“If you're looking for a quick bite and have to satisfy a Filipino food craving this is good spot. Large selection of Filipino dishes including the ever popular lumpia and chicken adobo. All you do is decide how many different dishes and they'll generously fill up your containers to go.
The food counter is nestled in the Island Pacific Market that carries all the ingredients for the dishes being served. Has shelves and shelves of snacks, drinks, produce, frozen goods and dry goods.“

“found the Las Vegas Sayulitas 2 yrs ago when staying at the Luxor. there burritos are beyond spectacular. big and so delicious. I can't say it enough. and the sauces on the little sauce bar are outstanding. I've never had anything like those sauces. the hot green sauce and hot red sauce are phenomenal. I like the green the best. I lived in AZ years ago. went back home to upstate NY. there is no place near me that even comes close. I love Sayulitas and wish I had one near me. you can't go wrong if you love Mexican style food“

“we're lucky to find this place to cater late night snacks for our wedding reception. we ordered trays of their pork and veggie lumpia and turon. they were all a hit and tasted great that there was no leftover. there's still turon left but it's probably because everyone was full from our cake. the owner/server are very kind and accommodating to deliver to our venue even if late night. we just need to pay a bit extra which we understand since it's all the way to la jolla. overall satisfied and great memory for us!“

Lechon kawali (crispy pork)“
“What a hidden gem! I felt so welcomed like I was having lunch at Grandma’s house and I was family. The service is so friendly and kind. The food was amazing as well. One of the best Filipino breakfast spots and pan de sal bread! They don’t just sell cakes and desserts. In the back corner is hot to go food and lumpia. Come check out this hidden San Diego Filipino food gem and support a wonderful small family business“

“🙌 Wow..! Max’s in Chula Vista is amazing. For starters, their service is impeccable. Got seated right away, very friendly servers. The food - I’m a first timer of Philippine food and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was made to perfection, and I was told all their food is made to order, which I could certainly tell by the quality of ingredients! Atmosphere - The whole restaurant had such a cool modern hip vibe to it - very chic and trendy. This is the kind of place where you want to experience something new and fresh to the area. Oh and they have some beer too! Philippino type beer of course which was pretty awesome, I had a nice lager that went well with my food. Very clean and well organized restaurant across the board. Will be coming back for sure ..! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“It’s been good 6-7 year since the last time we dine-in at Goldilocks.
We decided to have our brunch after in laws morning appointment. Got lucky for a parking knowing it’s hard to get one on a weekend close to the restaurant. Attentive staff from start to finish. It was 930AM but decided not to order breakfast items instead ordered our regular UBER orders.
Ordered the following:
Crispy Pata - it’s a must for us! Crispy skin and juicy pata meat. Ordered Crispy Pata here five times last year through UBER since we just love how juicy and crispy it is.
Pansit Canton - well seasoned and great amount of toppings i.e veggies and meat. Noodles not overcooked.
Fresh Lumpia - not pictured. Fresh veggies wrapped in crepe with sweet savory peanut sauce completes the dish.
Highly recommend if you’re craving for some Filipino dishes.“
