This charming spot not only revived us with its coffee but also captivated us with its serene beauty.My son opted for an iced macchiato, and judging by the speed at which he consumed it, it was nothing short of perfection. As a high schooler who’s not big on reviews, his rapid enjoyment spoke volumes, easily a 5-star experience in his book. My choice was a latte, served piping hot, which is not an exaggeration. It was indeed so hot that it required some time to cool down, but this only added to the anticipation. The latte was exquisite, rich in flavor, and absolutely worth the wait. “The pastries are fantastic! The so tasty and perfect blend of flakey and fluffy, not an easy feat. The baked goods are also beautiful. The coffee was tasty and complimented the baked goods well. The atmosphere is kid friendly and has a great blend of locals and visitors. They had high chairs available. I would post pictures but we ate everything too quickly.Dietary restrictions: They had a few gluten free options that looked delicious. Everything was very clearly labeled for allergies (gluten and nuts, etc.).“

“We came on a family trip to celebrate a special birthday and were looking for a cake. Thankfully we found their delicious sacher chocolate cake! We bought the medium one for 8 people and it was great. Lots of chocolate but not too sweet. Also moist but not too moist. I’m pretty picky about chocolate cakes and I really liked it. Plus everyone else too, it didn’t last too long. They gave us a yummy raspberry sauce that is a good contrast. It goes pretty well with mango and raspberry sorbet too. I really recommend it. You can order it the day before and they can write something on it.“

“The best bakery out there and acknowledged by some big companies to cater for their events, they are that delicious and easy to work with. In my personal experience, nothing beats their goods and the love they clearly pour into them, pun intended.“

“Ordered a breakfast burrito and a latte. Burrito was delicious. The pastries looked immaculate and I will definitely be back to try them. Tons of gluten free options and a loaf of gluten free bread that looked incredible.The coffee was slightly too darkly roasted for my taste, it tasted somewhat bitter. Not bad in a pinch though.“

“The superior coffee option at Northstar! Pros - free WiFi, limited but available seating every time I came. It's technically a coworking space that is shared with the real estate office located right by the guest drop off area. - clean bathroom (single person only) - quiet ish. Lots of remote workers. - super super friendly service! - breakfast frittata was better than expected. Cons - Ceremonial Matcha was not my favorite - Vanilla latte was pretty good but disappointed that the 8 ounce is one shot only - pastries were super fresh baked in Truckee, I did not really enjoy the flavor of the croissant though (I think the butter they use). - wish they had more food variety similar to the other locations“
