“We had lunch here the other day. There is a ton of parking available. You will find Shootz in the back right corner of Rodeo 39. It is a small and comfortable space.

We started with two refreshers to drink. We got a mango green tea lemonade and a strawberry pineapple lemonade. Both were delicious and refreshing.

We got an order of spam brulee musubi. The combinations of flavors was so good. Also, get some kimchi butter to dunk the musubi in.

Next up was a katsu chicken sando. The chicken is basted in kimchi butter. It is topped with mac salad. It is so simple and yet so delicious. I also dunked the sando in kimchi butter.

We also got a shrimp and katsu mix plate. We poured kimchi butter all over it. The shrimp were large and delicious. The katsu was crispy and flavorful. I loved that there was a good portion of rice and mac salad served with it.

Comforting Hawaiian food and great service make this a place I cannot wait to come back to.“

First things first, that broth is on point! Whether you're into something classic like dashi or something with complexity like miso, both are winners. The flavors are on the money, and it's the kind of broth you want to savor till the last drop.
If you're a seafood lover, this place is a dream come true. The seafood is fresh to the max. The shrimp, crab, and scallops are so good you'll wish you ordered more. Quality matters, and here it's top-notch.
Now, let's talk about that beef. Wagyu heaven! The marbling on the beef is a sight to behold, and it's as tasty as it looks. All of the meats are super tender and flavorful. Dipping it into the broth just elevates the flavor!

Wife and I split a calamari appetizer with another couple and had 2 meals and 3 drinks was $150 before tip! “If you haven't tried whealthy, its absolutely taking a chance on. You can build your own bowl and literally customize it however you want. All the way down to the flavor and the amount lol. When you are really hungry, there is not other place to try. The restaurant is always clean and the team members are very friendly. If you want a safe menu choice, they have a menu option called whealthy fried rice and its one of my favorites. This is absolutely worth trying out and I'm confident you will love it“

When we found out that there's going to be a Vox Kitchen opening up at South Coast. Was pretty excited!
Tried Vox before in Garden Grove City/Area.

What we Ordered

~ Prawns Garlic Noodles are delicious. Garlic noodles are on point and the prawns are big & juicy. A fav here for mee.
~ Seafood Scampi is also yummy flavorful dipped w the bread it comes with, lots of proteins.
~ Saltado- Filet is good. The filet is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fries are good pairing with the protein.

Their cocktail drinks are delicious also along being pretty strong. Love it!

This Vox Kitchen is a Chinese and Latin fusion concept type of restaurant.

The restaurant ambiance is low key restaurant with an outdoor patio area and outside dining area in front of the restaurant entrance. Have some greenery plants and simple.

Service is great and fast for lunch when i came and dined.

Great place to grab quick bites and scrumptious too.
Highly recommended.

“Dropped in for my birthday, we’ve been coming to this shack for over 10 years. Come to find out the previous owners sold to a new amazing couple. Which kept the original flavors, menu and recipes. Still high standards with great flavor, and great portions. We stopped by a little after 10-11 am and got chatting with the couple who now owns the business and how they got it. A really amazing story and so so friendly, they gave our children a couple small dishes of sherbet while we chatted with them and waited for our burgers. It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. Atmosphere is a bit noisy like a Marine corps chow hall.
The thing that was a bit rough for me, was the temperature of the room. I would have to say it was somewhere between 75 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit.“

The food over all is really good. Of course the people is good. The wagu appetizer is amazing. Truffle fries are on spot. Fried rice is good. My favorite is the combo pho with extra order of noodles for free.

“This is my go to chicken pho spot. It’s not overly busy like their main location in little Saigon. The spicy chilli sauce they have is really good if your into that stuff and if you’re not feeling like pho you can order their fried chicken leg which is super crispy that is also served up with fried chicken skin which is addicting. Just remember they are closed on wednesdays.“

“We came in an hour or so after they opened on a Friday and there was only one other table occupied.

The food was amazing!!! We ordered the spicy cajun edemame, crispy pork, and tom yum seafood fried rice. All three dishes were wonderfully prepared! Great job to the chefs!

The only thing lacking was the service, but the staff was young, but I would venture to guess that they will learn and the service will get better in time.
