“This was my first time here. Ive never tried fried soft crab musubi before and it was delicious. They make their food fresh and ready to order. I also ate the waygu feta, grilled unagi, and the crispy calamari musubi tacos. All of them made you close you eyes when you got the full taste. So pleasant. The miso salmon hit also. “Don't even know where to start. (Yes, I do). Walked in, and BOOM! It sounds like the intro before you walk into heaven, lol. I hear the jazz melodies, the ambiance of a modern gatsby like dinner; people sitting, standing, walking, snapping, talking, dim but not too dim lighting, a small stage with a live musical band singing and playing jazz/blues music. Straight out of a movie, if you ask me.
And then I get to my seat, seats are beautiful, almost home like, but you still feel the ambiance of a smooth starlit restaurant. The servers were elite with response times, very accommodating. And the food came out promptly, the drinks were professionally crafted.
I had a old-fashion my 3rd time having one and this one was PERFECT. Ordered the brussel sprouts for an appetizer and the beef and chips with a cheese sauce. Man listen! The chips were like a thin steak fry, fried crisp with soft insides and chili powder and salt lightly coating it. I wanna say it had chives sprinkled atop too. The beef was a braised short rib very delectable. I was leery on the cheese sauce but it was so mild, and semi nutty flavor, creamy and very cohesive to the beef and chips. The sprouts were air-fried like with a balsamic reduction mm mm mmmm. Had the right amount of char and crisp and then you get to the heart it's tender. Sop it up in the sauce or eat em dry, they didn't disappoint.

My entree was a pan seared mahi mahi with a mash and mango slaw atop. I'm sorry I can't really describe it like I did the others because I INHALED IT...IMMEDIATELY HAHAHAHA. I was very very pleased. The flavor profiles were meshing very well. I had little doubts of the slaw but the slaw wasn't as sweet as I assumed but that's because the mash and the fish blended very well. The mahi was alllmost cooked perfect. Just a tad bit over-cooked on like the smallest piece of fish (which is understandable) so it didn't really take away from the dish because I can imagine what it'd be if it was perfect.
Afterwards we walked over to the seating area close to the stage where the harbor greets you with a beautiful bright smile glaring thru the window. The singer was amazing, the band was magnificent! The drummer and the trombone player pssssh bravo!

“Stopped in for lunch today after seeing a post on Instagram. It’s nice, clean and right on the corner in the shopping center. It looked like the parking lot was packed but there was plenty of parking upon further review. The waitress was so nice and sweet. (I hate that I didn’t ask her name) I got the Loco Moco and the Beignets. Both were REALLY GOOD. She actually didn’t charge me for the dessert because it didn’t come out the way they liked……. It was GOOD to me!! I am not a fan of creamy, mayonnaise, ranch, béchamel, hollandaise, type of sauce so I chose the safe route this time. It was delicious. Very filling and full of flavor. “The Pork Belly Fries are yummy and filling! This location is good for a hangout with friends. A bit pricey, but you get a big portion size and delicious fries. The portion size is good for two people to share. The meat is tender and fries are flavorful. I’m surprised this place isn’t more popular. We arrived during an afternoon and the location was empty. Plenty of seating options. Decent customer service. This business is located in a small plaza with plenty of parking spots.“

Parking: This is Huntington Beach .. parking can be difficult. We got lucky with a spot right in front of the restaurant. It was metered parking with the first 2 hours being free. I noticed there was also other street metered parking across the way.

Ambiance/Environment: Very warm and welcoming. It’s very spacious with plenty of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. Great for large groups.

Service: Shout out to our server Abril! She was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, refilled our waters when needed, and checked on us while eating.

Food & Drinks:

1) Burning Titan - This was recommended to us since this was their “must try” entrees. I had the choice of substituting the meat and noodles, but I decided to leave everything as is. This only came in one size, and I’d consider it a large bowl. They were very generous with the brisket beef and amount of ramen. The soup was definitely spicy and flavorful.

2) Kung Pao Chicken - My partner wanted a rice dish. I tried his dish, and this is definitely better than Panda Express! It wasn’t too spicy though, nor was it salty. There wasn’t as many peanuts as we thought. There was a good amount of chicken to rice ratio.

3) Crispy Wonton - I like their twist on the wontons because not only did it have cream cheese, but it also had avocado! The wonton was crispppyyy with a beautiful brown color. Though, I wish it had more filling of cream cheese and avocado. Don’t forget to dip it in the sweet sauce!

4) Thai Tea with boba - This wasn’t too sweet. The boba was decently chewy. The tea had a weird aftertaste, so I think they could work on this item.

5) Vietnamese Ice Coffee - I’m a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I ordered a Viet coffee in the evening. You know it’s concentrated when they don’t fill the cup up all the way. This is what I call a Viet coffee!

Pricing: I’d say it’s definitely worth its price. We visited while they were still offering their deals. Can’t deny a bowl of pho starting at $9.99. Especially in this inflation, that’s a steal.“

“Great food in a crowded plaza. The food tastes as good as it looks but the parking lot is small so it could be tough getting in and out. A lot of parking spots are 30 minutes only so be careful, don't know if they keep track or tow cars.

“What an amazing little hole in the wall grill. We were going to go to Longboards next door but decided against it. We got chicken and beef plates as well as a side of salmon and a California plate. Everything was fresh. Everything was delicious on the freshness of everything from the meat to the Sriracha. The salad was on point nice and leafy greens. The dressing wasn't too pungent and the sauce wasn't too heavy or old. Appreciation to the owner for having love in his restaurant and providing some beautiful grill food! The food was amazing!!! We ordered the spicy cajun edemame, crispy pork, and tom yum seafood fried rice. All three dishes were wonderfully prepared! Great job to the chefs!

The only thing lacking was the service, but the staff was young, but I would venture to guess that they will learn and the service will get better in time.
