“Originally from NJ and lived and worked in NYC I've lived here almost 20 yrs. I've always been skeptical of pizza parlors that have "NY" in their name. I've passed by Pepe's for years and never tried it. Well I have to say I am very glad I did! This ABSOLUTELY the BEST pizza around.“

“Outstanding and HUGE sandwiches that will easily feed two people or one really hungry sandwich lover. The pizza is just as delicious and like the sandwiches, the 12” feeds two people. One of the secrets to Baked is their homemade crust that doubles as bread on the sandwiches. For dessert try fresh hot churros!“

“I had the Maséhati pizza, and it was absolutely amazing. The ingredients were so fresh, and the flavors were incredible. The warm aroma of basil pesto paired perfectly with the savory and flavorful prosciutto topping. The ricotta cheese was soft, creamy, and just downright delicious. On top of that, the owner was super friendly and welcoming. This is hands down the best pizza spot in LA. If you’re craving pizza, you have to try this place!“

“I only ate Kyochon Chicken, and after Wings N Stuff, I only ate here! The seasoned chicken is spicy and really delicious with the red pepper paste flavor. I take it with me when I go camping, and it's the best because it doesn't smell like chicken even when it cools down.

“Hands down one the best pizza and for sure one of the BEST pastas in Los Angeles. I've tried almost all their pasta, from their bolognese to the Penne Vodka. They are all great. I normally order 2 dishes just for myself.
Best flavors you can't find any were else. There's no comparison to their pizza and the quality ingredients and toppings. I was raised in NY/NJ, so I'm very picky on pizza. I only have a few spots that I would ever recommend and Proper is on top!“

“My family and I are not the biggest fan of pizza. However we decided to order some pizza, but from a place we've never tried. Pizza Cafe LA came up on google as one of the closest places with quite good reviews, so I decided to try and ordered to pick up. (My orders were ready on time!)

I ordered two large pizzas with chicken wings.
Pizzas were very nice. All of us enjoyed every slice of it.
AND chicken wings! Honey BBQ and buffalo flavors. They were so crispy and the best of all, I LOVED the ranch? they gave to us. I don't think I ever enjoyed the dipping sauce that much in my life.

“Enjoyed the cheese NY style pizza. Only criticism would be that there was no prosciutto in the piggie smalls panino. Don’t church it up…that’s straight up sliced ham. Would go again for the pizza (gotta try the 8Mile), but would skip the panino.“

“All in all this place is great! Service was quick and our food was delicious. Everything was well spiced and the condiments for the chicken tenders were great. I should mention that the chicken tenders are also fairly sizable. Lastly, Citizens Public Market has a nice patio in the back and on the roof where you can enjoy your meal as well.

“I've just recently moved to Cali right down the street from here & lemme tell you sumn. I couldn't have picked a better spot to eat at in any given evening. Teriyaki Chicken plate is my go to & it's some of the best teriyaki chicken Ive had. Yall GOTTA try this joint. “Hands down, this is one of the best Thai food restaurants I’ve stumbled upon. The two young ladies I met when picking up my order were so sweet. I felt very bad because the DoorDash delivery guy had stolen the original order, which was well over a hundred dollars worth of food. Not only did they replace the order, but added a couple of items for the inconvenience. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy chicken wings, there wings are heavenly. Honestly, some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted, cooked to perfection. And the quality of beef and chicken they use is well above average. The steak in the Thai salad was so tender, super lean and not even slightly over cooked. This will now be one of my family’s “go to” Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. Support a wonderful local small business ran by genuinely good people! You won’t be disappointed.“

“Let me start with its a very long line & wait.

The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are very generous. Customer service is fantastic. But geez the long line up…we arrived at 1:25 they open at 1:30pm & there was a long line, I mean long but they did provide ice cold water which was refreshing & needed when standing in the sun for any length of time.
By the time we got into the restaurant, order, pay & actually get our food it was 3:50pm. They have seating available once you get inside and wait another 30-45 min for your order so you can relax.
Yes people thats how long the wait is. 2.5hrs to wait for food don't get me wrong like I said the food was great but just cant see myself waiting in line again for that length of time hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. I was told the line up is the norm.“

“I have tried the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders with fries from here. I have only ever ordered for delivery and not been to the physical location which is why the service and atmosphere are at 3 stars.

The spicy chicken sandwich was really good, this is definitely the item you want to try. I ordered the chicken tenders with Seoul spicy flavor and i was not a fan. I guess I’m comparing it to other fried chicken places which have thicker cuts of chicken, which is what I personally prefer for chicken tenders. The tenders came on a thick slice of toast bread which I loved. The fries were made so well and even after delivery were in excellent condition, I dipped them in the sauce which was provided and it only made it better. When it comes down to it I would definitely order from here again but stick to the spicy chicken sandwich, from the two things I’ve tried. I’ll be exploring the menu for sure, I’m looking forward to trying the original wings, popcorn chicken and loco fries.“

“This gem is located on The Blvd of Cars in Glendale. They have great lunch specials Monday - Friday. We have been here a lot recently when our car is being serviced at Star Ford down the street. Tony the bartender is super nice with a great personality.“

“This place is an anomaly. At one time the foodie fads of LA had people of great stature waiting for an hour on a long line to eat the Kogi truck magic. But now you can do it and have he barely to yourself and great well poured drinks. “This place deserves more attention. I got the Chicago deep dish, and it was the best I've ever had. The sauce ALONE was the tastiest sauce I ever had on a pizza. Service was great, and I believe it was the owner who was assisting us and also making the pizza. Definitely friendly and a great person with top-tier hospitality. We WILL return to this place. Only down side is that the location is small, but they deserve more recognition for their work.

It was around 8 of us, and we split ourselves into 2 groups, one of 3 and one of 5, and we'd each get up and order from the cash register and pay there. The last order of chicken took a whole lot longer to get sent out than usual, so I am assuming some miscommunication happened in the kitchen and they forgot to put it in, but no biggie. Pelicana is incredible in terms of the quality (this is the 3rd location I've visited): the fried chicken is top-notch and truly an option to consider if you are craving some fried chicken.“

The undercarriage has to support the toppings which their pies do with ease. I asked for well-done because I like the crust crispier. Great ratio of cheese-sauce-toppings.
