“Very interesting place. Diner-style Mexican joint. I grabbed a prawn burrito, and it was humongous.
Washed it down with Modelo Negra, which is my favourite beer when I am visiting LA. This time though the waitress Lorena brought it with a lime, which I have never seen before (!). And it works amazingly well! I ordered a 2nd bottle, and it's still on the table. Gonna enjoy it (!) when I'm done with this.
ATM I am the only customer, it's Sunday, maybe that is why. The ladies laugh their guys out in the backround. The atmosphere is great. Something tells me it's even better when the place is full.

“We went here for the first time on New Years Eve. . . I noticed the atmosphere is not your typical chinese restaurant. . . we ordered the assorted app plate, tofu with black bean sauce, seafood plate and egg fu yung. . .
The apps were good. . and served as a pu pu platter setup. . I'm not sure if they know what that is out here, but it's very popular on the east coast. . .
The main dishes arrived. I was expecting something different, but was quite pleased with the food after all. The ingredients used are fresh veggies, broccoli, bok choi, etc. . . we ordered alot and ate alot. Me and my wife agreed it was a very healthy meal really. . . surprisingly so. . . I was a little let down by the tofu and black bean plate, but my wife was happy with it. . . a few veggies or something in there wouldn't go amiss. . anyway, we will return at a later date. I do suggest this place as a healthier option to the normal chinese food you might get elsewhere. . The service was very good as well. Friendly. I noticed many of the people who came in were regulars. . . this restaurant also has a family type feel to it. . we'll return in the future. . .”

I've never had a nice cream bar like that. You can taste the pineapple on the coconut, Then you realize it's a Pina Colada and it's absolutely delicious.”

“My coworker brought me here for the 1st time. He's been coming to this place for 20 yrs. I've always passed this place & never thought much of it. And for that, I regret it now. A real hidden gem. The cashier/server was amazing from beginning to end, nice lady. The #1 was so good & light. Definitely coming back ?% & bringing family plus friends. All theses times that I've passed this place, I thought it was a very small place but when I went inside. This place is huge!!! The 1 thing I don't like is the entrance & exit, very small & dangerous for big vehicles or not experienced drivers. So watch out.”

“They have the best gorditas around! It’s been a min since I’ve been back. Arrived on a Monday late afternoon and no one was there. Oh yes, call ahead if you want to order the gorditas. Like I mentioned previously they make it from scratch so it takes some time. The lady on the phone said my to go order would take 20 mins. Decided to eat it there and my heart melt! The salsa is bomb, the food is bussin, come support small businesses!

“I come here about three times a week before starting my shift at work (1pm), and I have no complaints about the food or staff, but someone needs to fix how they constructed the parking spaces and drive-thru. During lunch, there's a line for the drive-thru (which is fine. That's what a drive-thru is for), but the line blocks the customers parked in their parking space trying to get out. I paid for my food in the drive-thru lane, but then I couldn't get out due to the horrible placement of this drive-thru.

9/23/24 update: 9 years later, I returned, and I am happy they solved their drive-thru dilemma. Their food is still cooked to perfection and delicious, and their customer service is still excellent. I will be coming here more often.”
