“I stopped by this Waba Grill this morning to pick up lunch for my wife. She wanted their Salmon Veggie bowl and I customize it to get easy rice but more veggies. They charge extra for that so just be aware. I placed my order through their website and select the time when the store officially open since it was an option.

I been to the plaza this place is in before and there tons of parking here. I arrived early to visit another store nearby to return my Amazon package. When I walked to this store, I saw that they don't open early. So when they officially open, I walked inside and checked in with a worker. She told me that since they just open, they are still making the food. In my opinion, if your online order isn't going to be ready at the time you selected or if they just open, then it shouldn't be an option.

It took like ten minutes until my order was ready and the worker who cooked my order asked if I wanted extra sauce. I got the extra sauce and utensils. I took it home and when I look, I can't tell if they give more veggies but I see they still give a lot of rice. It looked like they give a decent portion of Salmon though and my wife liked her food.“

“This unassuming Thai restaurant served great, tasty Thai food! We ordered pad kee mao and panang curry, both with chicken and 5 stars spicy level. They were both absolutely delicious! They were not skimpy with the ingredients. The only problem was it needs free refill of the broth because it was damn good! Pad kee mao hits the spot too! The 5 stars spicy level was just right for us, for others might be too spicy. Also appreciate the fact that the price for the brown rice is the same as the white rice. Absolutely recommend this Thai place if you're in the area and we will definitely come back next time!“

“I tried looking for other places where I can study at night without feeling like I’m stuck at the library but came back to tk. While there may be other choices nearby it’s not as warm and friendly. Tk has accessible snacks as well as drinks, good wifi, a bathroom, parking that doesn’t suck, and friendly workers. I like their chicken curry bowl and their spam musubi came out piping hot!“

Another nice thing about this place is that they are right next to a place that serves matcha drinks. A poke bowl + a matcha latte? That's some good stuff.“

“The young girl at the register who helped us is one of the nicest people I have ever come across while eating out. She was so pleasant, helpful and upbeat that I had to look around and make sure I was still in LA/North Valley. That girl has a future above and beyond Teriyaki Madness. I also really enjoyed my meal. The order was made correctly, the food was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is very no-fills but it’s a fast casual dining restaurant so it was as expected.“

The guy at the front counter might seem a little serious at first, but once you’ve been there a few times you realize he’s actually a cool guy who always makes sure your order’s right before you leave. “Me and my boyfriend had hookah and drinks here after dinner at yamshiro (upstairs) our server recommended this lounge so we checked it out after dinner. You have to have reservations on the weekends here as it gets pretty busy but luckily the host made something work for us I believe her name was Maria. She was beyond sweet and kind and stunning too!!! We had such a beautiful time, she gave us the best seats on the beautiful patio as we over looked the view! I highly recommend you guys go here. “We recently held a memorial, celebrating the life of a loved family member at Yamashiro and the experience was nothing short of amazing! This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. “This Location is stingy with the Teriyaki (they only give you one small sauce, not a regular branded one) and the parking is not the best but you should be able to find a spot. BUT they're not stingy with the chicken which is awesome. If they always give you the amount I got, it's 5 stars forsure. Gluten free like most the locations which makes TMad overall a 5 star establishment.“

“I had a craving for tom yum soup and thankfully they took my order even though it was about 20 minutes to closing time. It was just a little too spicy (ordered mild) for my taste, but still delicious. Plenty of lemongrass goodness with a kick. I forgot to add noodles, but they accommodated me at the counter. The thai tea was very delicous, strong & creamy with just the right amount of ice. I tried the mango sunrise but it was not what I expected (again, just my taste!). It had a distinct taste to it that I can't put my finger on, but the mango compote & the coconut cream part was really good! Definitely want to try the mango sticky rice next time, but it is on the pricy side ($14).“

“Checked out Waba Grill for the first time since the pandemic. Always thought the food was slightly above average, never disappointed at all really. So today I popped in (April 12, 2021). I noticed that they finally have indoor seating, limited to 20 guests at a time. The tables are spaced out a considerable distance. I decided on the sweet and spicy chicken bowl with veggies and white rice. Total after tax was $9.19. I guess that's fair, as the bowl is pretty decently sized.On to the food: The chicken was really good. A great combination of sweet and heat (4/10 on the spicy scale. Anyone who likes spicy stuff should find it satisfying, though it's not super hot, which is a good thing). The veggies are steamed or blanched - can't tell. Either way, they're crispy while still being cooked. I liked them a lot.All in all, come stop by if you're craving a decent rice bowl. Nice flavor, well put together, maybe a bit more expensive than it should be but not too bad! Recommended!“

“I have walked and driven past this place so many times. I always said to myself that I would come in and that I would take one of their cooking classes.
I was running errands as I get ready to move in January so I treated myself to dinner. Walking into this place the first thing you notice is that it’s cozy. The decorations are simple and the menu is scattered on the window above where you place your order.
The lady behind the counter was super friendly and helped me choose my drink which ironically is one of my favorites. Thai Iced T and she helped me decide on my second dish.
The tea was perfect!
My first dish was Moo Palo ( Braised Pork Belly with steamed Bach Choy and jasmine rice. ) The Pork Belly was perfectly cooked, tender and extremely flavorful. The rice was fluffy and the wasabi sauce was an amazing complement to the entire dish.
The second dish that hit my table was Kee Mow ( Flat rice noodles stir fried in our signature drunken sauce , white onion and bell peppers.) The overall flavor and chew of these noodles was absolutely mind blowing. I topped this dish with their hot sauce, then devoured it.
Now I will tell you one thing, do not and I repeat do not come here if you are in any way impatient or unaware that great food takes time. This place is a must visit and I mean that“

I get my most frequent take out dinners here. My favorite is Galbi-Tang, its very similar to caldo de rez, but with different veggies.
