“I stopped by this Waba Grill this morning to pick up lunch for my wife. She wanted their Salmon Veggie bowl and I customize it to get easy rice but more veggies. They charge extra for that so just be aware. I placed my order through their website and select the time when the store officially open since it was an option.

I been to the plaza this place is in before and there tons of parking here. I arrived early to visit another store nearby to return my Amazon package. When I walked to this store, I saw that they don't open early. So when they officially open, I walked inside and checked in with a worker. She told me that since they just open, they are still making the food. In my opinion, if your online order isn't going to be ready at the time you selected or if they just open, then it shouldn't be an option.

It took like ten minutes until my order was ready and the worker who cooked my order asked if I wanted extra sauce. I got the extra sauce and utensils. I took it home and when I look, I can't tell if they give more veggies but I see they still give a lot of rice. It looked like they give a decent portion of Salmon though and my wife liked her food.“

Galanga is hands down the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in LA since I moved here a year ago. The food is absolutely delicious, the service is incredible, and the prices are more than fair. One of the things I love the most is that we can bring a bottle of wine or Prosecco, and they provide glasses and everything we need without any extra charge. “Today is August 17, 2022, I came back because I had to try the steak bowl with all veggies and I had a can of BUBLY grapefruit flavored. Aleksandra, Sadee, Corrina and The rest of the staff are a lot of fun we spent a lot of time asking them about which pole I should try. I finally settled on the ribeye steak bowl with no rice… I had to have the garlic Serano sauce which Karina made clear was her favorite and turned out to be mine too but I had to add a couple packets of hot sauce the grapefruit drink I was enjoying was perfect with the spicy flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! the store is kept very clean! Waba Wednesday means two chicken bowls for $12.99!“

“Formosa Cafe has really come back in a strong way. Food was excellent and we all especially enjoyed the whole Bronzino. Walnut shrimp is always great we loved the fried rice. We tend to over order because we enjoy the leftovers so much. Service was very nice but it always feels like they're a LITTLE understaffed when the place gets really busy.“

This restaurant has great food, beautiful views and a very welcoming atmosphere so they don't need to negotiate prices. However, our party was on a budget and to our very pleasant surprise, the manager worked with us to fit the evening into our limited budget. The service was outstanding and the food, well, I'm repeating myself but, again, absolutely amazing! Some establishments are willing to work within people's budgets, but the food and service level tends to reflect the lower pricing but that was NOT the case here: We were treated as if we were the only people in attendance that evening. The occasion was bitter/sweet because we lost a loved one but, by the end of the evening, we felt as if we had spent the evening at a family member's house and we will NEVER forget this evening, on many levels. “The two gentlemen working before close on 10/22 were so awesome! I had never been here before and didn't know how things worked. It felt awkward and overwhelming at first, but the 2 guys behind the counter were so kind and pleasant! They walked me through everything and answered all my questions. The person working there, not sure if the manager or owner, he was so kind to explain why to stick to the poke option which made total sense! Very reasonable prices. There is a little something extra spice wise in the fried rice. I can't quite identify the spice, but it makes all the difference. It's possibly the best pork belly I've had from a restaurant“

“Since my last review of this restaurant about 2 or 2 1/2 years ago, this is the 1st time I went back.
I should also say that we used to go to Katana literary every week at the very least, 1 time and i experienced a very unprofessional behavior from the hostesses which I wrote about and to the management's credit, they wrote back to me and askex me to go back with my guests as their guest, which i didn't do but I appreciated it. Thank you, management, for reaching out to me.
So this time, my experience was very different than my last time there. The 2 hostesses, although they didn't know who I was since reservation wasn't under my name,
*Arica & Rushil were super professional and very nice as well as the young lady bartender "Maya" who was super nice and extremely charming. Anyway, thank you to the management for looking into it and being very professions.
Now, to tell you about the food, honesty, if you want it all, great ambiance, great service and servers as well as the boss boys, and especially the food and it's presentation is fanatic.
So again, thank you for a wonderful evening.

“Sister's cafe is a lovely place, where one can reliably get good food, no matter when you come. We've been going there for years now and have never been disappointed.

Staff is super friendly and the best of all, it's actually still affordable compared to the majority of places around LA.

They close a bit early, so I recommend to make sure to arrive no later than 8 pm. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! Can't go wrong.

This is a perfect place to enjoy dinner out during the work week and not go broke while doing it.

One of my favorites is the curry hot pot with chicken!!

“Checked out Waba Grill for the first time since the pandemic. Always thought the food was slightly above average, never disappointed at all really. So today I popped in (April 12, 2021). I noticed that they finally have indoor seating, limited to 20 guests at a time. The tables are spaced out a considerable distance. I decided on the sweet and spicy chicken bowl with veggies and white rice. Total after tax was $9.19. I guess that's fair, as the bowl is pretty decently sized.On to the food: The chicken was really good. A great combination of sweet and heat (4/10 on the spicy scale. Anyone who likes spicy stuff should find it satisfying, though it's not super hot, which is a good thing). The veggies are steamed or blanched - can't tell. Either way, they're crispy while still being cooked. I liked them a lot.All in all, come stop by if you're craving a decent rice bowl. Nice flavor, well put together, maybe a bit more expensive than it should be but not too bad! Recommended!“
