“Was driving in Sunland last night and saw this restaurant beside a gas station. After my errand, I called them and placed an order for a chicken kabob plate. Arrived early and the food came out after a little while. The plate came with your choice of two sides, a main carb, and the juiciest and perfectly cooked chicken kabobs. The serving is generous. The sides I got which are ikra and baba ganoush were also so good. It also came with pita bread. Soooo good and will definitely be back!“

“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

The falafel plat, hummus, and salad (falafel plate) were all delicious and even though I skipped the rice, lasted me for two meals. That made the price even more attractive. “What a Great Find! First time there and Junior took time to explain the whole menu to us. He also prepared the Delicious meal! We tried the chicken kabob, Shawarama, rice, Mediterranean salad, and hummus with pita bread. Fantastic meal!!! We also watched him prepare a Wrap which was Huge. We definitely be back!!! “Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. Thank you NoHo Cafe for starting my 2020 with a reminder of the importance of kindness.“

One negative to note were the drinks: my latte was not satisfying - too small (~12oz.), not enough milk (too much foam for a latte) and per my request for extra steamed milk they offered two Coffeemate creamer pods - all while it set me back $10.40+tax; a 0.5 litter (16.9oz.) bottle of Pellegrino was $4.16+tax.“

“Out of all the food in Los Angeles, the sandwiches here are what I miss the most. Lived walking distance from this place for a few years over 10 years ago and I'm so happy and not surprised it's still making the best sandwiches in town. All the reviews are correct. The food is great and made fresh with fresh ingredients. The vibe is friendly and the best kind of humble confidence that only comes from good people doing what they do well. “After the 4th restaurant in Tujunga failed to make good Shawarma, I thought I would have to drive all the way to Glendale for the only good Shawarma I know, that I get from a food truck. I didn't know Shawarma House existed until today. The dine in place is nice and spacious, the service was kind, and for the first time in Tujunga that I know of, this a restaurant that didn't serve dry wraps with no garnishes.“
