“First I want to say that the customer service was on point! I felt welcomed and heard which is a big deal. I don't eat meat - just fish and when I told the guy making my food that, he was so nice about changing his gloves and taking the precautions that made me feel comfortable. That's a big deal for me because there are places that are very rude and take offense to me addressing their cross contamination practices. Anyway for the food, my wrap was so delicious! It tasted fresh and had a lot of veggies which I appreciate. It also came with some garlic fries which I wasn't expecting and they were bomb! I got a wrap and fries for $13 bucks smh that's unheard of this day and time AND it was delicious and fresh... I will definitely be back!! Only thing I wish I had was some spicy tahini sauce to pour on my wrap, that would have been a game changer forreal.“

“This place is great, with amazing options and great servings. I love getting their club sandwich, their pizzas and their tuna melt! If I ever get a chance to go early enough I'll get their breakfast plates as well because they just look amazing! For me the best part about the place is easily the hot sauce they will hand you if you ask for it. They casually hand you the best hot sauce you've ever eaten in your life, and it's so amazing because it goes with ALL of their savory menu items! If you even remotely like spicy, please try the hot sauce, I feel like it's their hidden gem!“

“Wow! I have to thank my friend for turning me on to Black Rabbit Cafe. This gem is located inside Abyss Market. I frequent this store after work, so the food cafe is closed when I come here. I was off of work today, and am I glad I ordered the BLAT. Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. It was THE best sandwich I've ever had. Perfect ratio! “My son was craving shawarma so I chose this spot because of their ratings. The place was very clean and I liked how it was bright and very open! My son had already ordered and paid. I wanted a drink and paid cash. The gentleman preparing/cooking our meal was also the cashier. He accepted my cash (wearing gloves already) and placed in the register. He then proceeded to pick up a cucumber wearing the same gloves that he handled money with!!! I was fuckin appalled!!! I was like, " You better change your gloves!! You just touched money!!" Wtf!! How gross!!! Jayson and I discussed how even though the pandemic was a clear eye opener on how poor hygiene was another factor in invading someone's personal space! He was truly doing so, and I had to put on the brakes real quick!! The cook/cashier continued to complete our order. He was probably pissed off, but this is my food you're preparing and I would expect you to prepare my meal as you'd prepare your own! So I got the small beef shawarma plate. You have to specify if you want rice or fries. Later on I remembered to ask for fries, otherwise they'll give you rice. I gave that up for lent. The plate was much larger than expected! The cucumber salad was delicious. The hummus was good, but a little grainy. Perhaps it needed to be puréed a bit more. The shawarma was so soft and tasty, but the sauces were on point!! Both the garlic sauce and house sauce complimented each other! Fire I would have loved to have given 5 stars But well, you know!“

“Always looking for a replacement for Souplantation we Salata, and while it isn't a replacement for Souplantation it is a good place to get a meal sized salad. Lots of choices for ingredients and dressings but, alas, no thousand island. Large salad is enough for two or three people. They also offered tomato basil soup but it had apparently been sitting there a while. The crew was great. Keeping in mind that salad is essentially all you are going to get you could do a lot worse. I'm still looking for another Souplantation but I will be eating here again.“

“I wanted to try the chicken Kabob wrap, but unfortunately they had ran out. I did try the chicken breast wrap and OMG it was a long wrap. I'm not complaining it looked so good & the taste matched the appearance as well. The wrap was very delicious along with a sauce that they give you. I forgot to take a pic, but next time I'll for sure post one. As for the service the men working there were very nice & attentive. If you're hesitant to stop this is your sign to give it a try!“

“I've started a subscription order from Everytable and I pick it up at this location in Hollywood every Monday. I have to say, for the price I was very skeptical. Other meal services I've tried are twice the price. But it turns out, this place is the real deal. The food is high quality and tastes great. And the staff that I've encountered at this location have all been extremely nice and helpful.My only complaint--and it's really more of a suggestion--is that I wish they'd offer more "high protein" options, even if they have to be a little more expensive. I think they'd be a hit, especially here in LA. “When my business partner bit into the kebeh that we ordered he made a face of delight that I’ve never seen him make before. I laughed out loud. He said, “This is the best kebeh I’ve ever had” and I said, “I can tell!” He was right. What a beautiful experience it was to dine at Sumac. This place is special. This isn’t just authentic Lebanese food, it’s curated recipes from Lebanese Mom and Grandma and Great Grandma, or at least that’s what I imagined. I’m already craving more Babaganoush topped with pomegranate seeds. The chicken shawarma sandwich was fresh and tender and delicious. The owner Eli and staff are lovely and welcoming. “I was shopping all day and was famished. I wanted to keep shopping so I decided to get something that I could walk around with. All over the Hollywood shopping complex, there were pictures of these taquitos in a cup with guacamole so I had to check them out.I went over Tacos Neza which is tucked in the corner of the mall. It was closing time but the staff was super nice and still served me. I told them I wanted to walk and eat and they said this taquito dish would be good for me.Even though the place was closing people were still coming to enjoy the food and ambiance. I walked throughout the shops with my taquitos which were a little too crunchy for my taste but still good and the guacamole was delicious. I will definitely be back here next time I'm shopping. They gave me a whole new order of the lettuce wraps with extra lettuce for my original order as well as an extra brownie and cookies. “Honestly, Zanku has always been og. They’ve been a staple before any of the other Armenian/Mediterranean joints….this location has been around a long time. The last time I had them their chicken was very dry, it was so bad it took a couple of years for me to come back to this location. I was in the mood for a Lule Kabob so got the #16 combo (chicken and Beef) and the Falafel special which came w 2 falafel, lettuce and tahini (peep the pic) If you are a light eater (like myself) this is enough for 2 portions! The customer service was very good, the place was very busy on a Sunday around 2pm. Small rice portions and I wanted the pickled radish but was given the cucumber salad instead. “I'll have to make another return here to 'Every Table,' Los Feliz, Los Angeles, CA., some time soon but was just a quick restroom stop. Now that I'm writing this review, doing so actually made me realize I bought a box of Lemon Pepper Chicken salad, and that box is still in the car. Luckily, it was raining in Los Angeles, CA earlier today when I was driving this area, so I don't think the food would have spoiled. I better place that in the fridge. Cashier was very friendly: I asked if all boxed items sold were readily cooked since it was my first time here, he took time to answer all my questions. I was literally just in for a quick restroom break walking back to my car. I'll have to stop by to take more pics next trip. This cafe was kept extremely clean throughout. They sold mostly Vegan dishes to-go, ready-to-eat dishes if you have immediate access to a microwave, I'll be back again to try a drink or two. Thanks for your convenience!!!! Cya next time!!!!“
