“We couldn’t find parking to drop off package at UPS store so we parked behind the store and discovered this restaurant. Food is delicious and service has been great. Normally we would eat at Panda but now we are supporting this small business.“

“The best service I ever received anywhere. My first time here and I was literally speechless after receiving such an ABOVE AND BEYOND service by the young owner. We, a party of eight, went in 30 minutes before their closing time and yet we were greeted with a big smile and warm welcome. He gave us the time to settle down and go through the menus. Since it was already late, we skipped the appetizer part to save them time. But to our surprise the owner brought us two different appetizers and drinks. After the main courses arrived, we loved the "Crying Tiger' and wanted more but because of the time issue, we didn't want to order again. The owner must have overheard our conversation and brought us another order of "Crying Tiger'" which left us all speechless. He not only stopped at that, we had two kids with us, he brought them French fries. At this point we didn't even know what to think!!! He brought all those additional foods ( 2 appetizers, Crying Tiger' and fries) all at no cost to us. That's what I call a Royal Treatment!!! Now as far as the food we ordered, Chicken with mint leaf, chicken with string beans, beef with eggplant, mixed fried rice, Pad Thai, Crying tiger, they were all EXCEPTIONAL!!! The restaurant itself is not very big in size but they have far better quality and tasty food than many Thai restaurants I visited to grab a bite in Los Angeles or other places. They serve all Halal meat which is a plus for my community. If you're in the vicinity please try them. I am positive that you won't be disappointed. I wish the owner and his crews all the best. And bear no doubt that I shall definitely visit them every time I have cravings for Thai food.. Keep up the GREAT WORK and THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR MAKING US FEEL SO SPECIAL!!!!“

“I'm just going to start off with if you don't eat pizza go anyway just for the atmosphere. Today I had the pleasure of dining at 786° pizza. The food was simply outstanding. The crust was perfectly crispy. The cheese was gooey and flavorful and the toppings were fresh and delicious but what really set the pizza place apart was the incredible hospitality of the people who worked there chef Mari chef Chris and chef Lesli. from the moment we walked in we were greeted with warm, smiles and friendly conversation. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and that our dining experience was exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about this pizza place. The food was exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff are some of the most hospitable people I've ever encountered. chef Mari chef Chris and Leslie made our experience one of a kind. “I planned on eating Ralphs sushi and stumbled upon the truck to give it a try. Ended up eating here two days in a row. What a gem! Very generous portions. Fresh food and amazing taste! “I contacted Misah regarding catering for my birthday party for 30 people. From the very start, Misah and his staff were polite, professional, and friendly. My wife took me to the restaurant for lunch to sample the food a couple of days before the party. Misah was very nice in person as well. The food was freshly prepared and very delicious. All the sides were good as well; the lentil soup, cucumber yogurt, and hummus. He offered us free desserts to sample. Their homemade baklava is so good. When they prepare your catering order, they cook the kabob close to your pickup time so that it is hot and fresh when you get home. They use very good quality containers for transporting the food. Our party guests loved the food so much that we barely had any leftovers for the next day. We will definitely eat at Chelo in the future. It is a small hidden gem in Van Nuys.“

Had to charge my car behind the restaurant and took a chance on a spicy sandwich and employee offers to deliver it to your vehicle while you wait at the Tesla charging station. MUST order house sauce for 50¢ and waffle fries. SO so good!“

“Love the butter chicken - appreciate that they put good cuts of meat in it, it's rich creamy and filling, generous portion. The veggie samosas are also great. During Covid and even more recently, I would order and have it delivered. But tonight I saw they were open and there was parking space right in front so I went in person. Wonderfully warm new owner, quaint dining room albeit small but remodeled and the new owner has plans for more. - feels more authentically Indian with a Mexican twist. Indian movie posters and music, colorful walls and tables. Their Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is the real deal as is the raita. Delicious. The chicken tikka masala quesadillas are reasonable and filling. I'm so glad they survived Covid and with this new management I'm excited to see what comes next. Everything was delicious, certainly some of the best Indian food I've had close to mid city. Very much appreciate that they serve goat and have dishes on the menu that are outside the standard Indian menu you see at most places in the area. Looking forward to going in person and trying their balti dishes as well as the paya. "Very very spicy" here seems to mean mildly spicy, so if you're a chili head like me best to let them know you mean business. The cilantro mint chutney was probably the best I've ever had-so fresh. I gave it a shot and headed over- it turns out it is a ghost kitchen located inside of Urban Skillet, (same owner). The only menu is available online. I got the slider combo- now mind you these "sliders" are the size of normal burgers. Same size as shake shack. The brisket burger is the most delicious burger I've ever tasted.
