We came twice last time we visited LA (they had just opened) and then recently came back three times when we visited again!The customer service is so friendly and the food is delicious! The truffle Mac is my favourite! And all the ramens we tasted were 10/10! Just wish they had a restaurant in the UK!“
“Loved this place! Super fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. Ordered the Nam Tok Salad, the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the Isaan Larb Kua. Everything was really tasty and the server was great about explaining the spice levels. The Nam Tok and the Isaan Larb Kua were especially delicious because of the use of lime juice -- that tangyness paired with the spiciness and the savoriness in both dishes was a winning combo. In terms of spice level, I'd say that I usually like spicy food and handle it well, and the Medium was just right. There are additional chili sauces available if you want to dial it up a little bit. Very generous portions and I was honestly quite stuffed. The price is also ridiculously low and I have to say this is one of the most amazing value Thai places I've ever been too -- the pad kee mow was $12.99 for the chicken version!! They were making pickled chilis on one of the side tables, which is one sign you know this place is legit -- when they make their sauces and condiments from scratch, by hand. Really looking forward to my next visit here.“
“My beef noodle spot for a couple of years now. I have to visit once a week if possible and I'm in Long Beach and have yet to find a better place in sevetal years! Highly recommended and their other food is amazing as well. I just can't get over how good the soup is so that's what I get every time now. “We wanted something healthy but flavorful for dinner and happened upon this place in the neighborhood, pretty no frills on the inside. Clearly a big focus on deliveries, but there's plenty of tables. We each got a steak banh mi and WOW was it good! So much flavor, and the bread was perfect; hard enough to hold it together, but easy to bite into. The crispy spring rolls were perfect as well, clearly freshly made and decently sized. We also split some noodles and were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Definitely will be back.“
“The mango sticky rice here is so good! The mangos were really fresh and there were plenty of slices that came with the dish. The crispy bits on top are also an unexpected yet delicious addition and pair well with the sticky rice and sauce. Looking forward to checking out the restaurant in person and trying out some of the main dishes“
“This is an absolutely no frills restaurant with about 5 items on the menu, but they do them well. The monta (aka manti, mante) is the star of the show. Unlike other places that take a shortcut by using wonton skins, this place makes the dough from scratch and it really makes a difference. In addition to the baked monta, they also do a soup version in either tomato or yogurt. Their sou boereg ( Armenian cheese lasagna) is good also. All monta is cooked to order, so it does take a few minutes for your order to be ready, but it's totally worth the wait. Have an appetizer while waiting. You can also visit their sister restaurant in Pasadena, though it's tiny with only two tables on the sidewalk.P.S. I read some reviews saying that monta is supposed to be made with phyllo dough. Uh, no. I helped my mom and grandma make monta from scratch and they use the same dough you'll find here. And I was born in Lebanon, my grandmother was a Genocide survivor. So they know how to make it.“
“One of our favorite Hollywood restaurants!! A hidden gem not to miss. Authentic thai cuisine at very reasonable prices.Have eaten for a couple decades in Thai Town but only went to Siam Sunset a few years ago. This was the first place I've ever eaten pad kra pao & it has become my favorite Thai dish! And Siam easily makes it the best!Only knock is there's no on site parking, but street parking is usually not too tough depending on the day. Still it's worth the walk.Would give it six stars if it were possible.“
“It was my first time dining at Thai Central. It is a gem in East Hollywood for a Thai food. The food is very tasty. We ordered a few things, Kao Clook Ka phi, Boat noodle, and Papaya salad - the was delicious. And awesome service - from getting our order in and getting the food from the kitchen to our table. I like the cleanliness of the restaurant. We dropped the lid of something on the floor , and the server took the lid from us, he cleaned it and brought it back - impressive. Very nice and friendly servers, great food!“

The dressing is some kind of sesame dressing and it was fabulous. Usually restaurants treat their salads as an afterthought and give you something basic with ranch, but not Kai ramen. The salad, wow.The ramen was also excellent. The broth was great and full of flavor and was nice and warm (temperature and heat wise, I got medium). The dish had a lot of different ingredients which kept it exciting throughout.Excellent experience, will be back again!(Parking lot fills up quick and is small, plan accordingly)“

“My partner and I love eating here regularly. They have great lunch options, especially for people who follow a 100% gluten free diet or who have food allergies, although the food is so yummy that I would eat here even if I didn't have food restrictions. Huge selection of soups for all seasons, yummy salads and sandwiches, and she makes the absolute best cakes. It's a small cafe-like storefront that we feel at home in. Definitely recommend this place!“
“Always looking for a replacement for Souplantation we Salata, and while it isn't a replacement for Souplantation it is a good place to get a meal sized salad. Lots of choices for ingredients and dressings but, alas, no thousand island. Large salad is enough for two or three people. They also offered tomato basil soup but it had apparently been sitting there a while. The crew was great. Keeping in mind that salad is essentially all you are going to get you could do a lot worse. I'm still looking for another Souplantation but I will be eating here again.“

“The food here is excellent. I recommend the Thai Fried Rice on Fire, and the Tom Kha Kai Soup w/chicken. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The layout of the restaurant is a clean simple style with an indoor fountain, some decorative plants & flowers, and old-school pictures of life and people in Thailand adorning the walls. Combined with the lighting and "easy-listening" music playing, it creates a very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.A nice little place to dine out for small groups. “I thought I placed an order online. After 1/2 hour, I went to pick it up at about 6 pm. They did not have it. (My fault) However, they promptly got my 2 items ready and even offered me a snack. “Delicious!! I had the pad Thai lunch special. They filled that baby up ! The whole container could barely contain it. For 2 extra dollars you can get fried rice . Perfect portion to share or to have left overs for later. They have cute boba tops and holders. So convenient . And the spring rolls that came with it my gosh!! So crunchy and the inside has thin noodles. Perfect balance. They bust the jams and have a clean aquarium when you walk in. Comfortable ambiance.“
“Was in LA for a few nights staying at a nearby hotel & saw Nat’s Thai as a nearby choice. I got Tom Kha soup with the chicken & Drunken Noodles also with chicken & they were both delicious. Especially the Tom Kha soup mmmmmIt’s in an old strip mall that’s seen better days but you don’t come (or don’t) to a place like Nat’s because of that. Really good, tasty food at a really good price by staff that was friendly. I highly recommend!“
“This is one of the best restaurants we know of. Not only is the food fantastic, but the owners and staff are amazing people. They are very kind and considerate, and very willing to accommodate large groups, or an occasional special request, etc. We've had several larger groups events catered by them as well and they are terrific to work with about these. And let me mention again how good the food is! They have a big menu and we've never had a dish that didn't look and taste great. It's not just Chinese food but they have some other Asian dishes as well.“
