“I have been trying tons of different food at night from TooGoodToGo, and this is my first time in Panera Bread, and I have to say the food is just amazing. I also want to point out that the employee doing the TooGoodToGo tonight, 03/19 is the most beautiful girl I have seen in my life!“
“First time here tonight (on a Friday) and what a cute place! Love the little wooden bridge as you enter the restaurant, cherry blossom faux tree and Japanese decor. There's even a couple of cute private dining rooms & a small outdoor eating area. Service was attentive and friendly. Shout out to Jose. Food was great! Miso Soup - Seaweed Salad - hubby said it was meh as he didn't eat much of it Black Cod - flavorful, tender & perfectly flaky Mixed Green Salad - great Truffle Salmon Carpaccio - hubby said it was good & fresh Yellowtail Jalapeño - hubby said it was good & fresh Albacore Sashimi - hubby said it was good & fresh King Salmon Sashimi - hubby said it was good & fresh Would definitely come back if in the Santa Monica area again. “This place is amazing. Top notch service and the fooooooodddd is OMG!!! I can’t believe it took us this long to try this place. We were fortunate to be served by Betsy and Tia who were so friendly and professional. We had such a nice time. Highly recommend and will return soon.“
“Best vegan Ramen I have had. Toppings are amazing. You can feel the depth of interest the creators at this restaurant have taken creating each bowl and maintaining their level of perfection with each order. Staff is very kind. All around a great place to keep coming back to over and over.“
“The mango sticky rice here is so good! The mangos were really fresh and there were plenty of slices that came with the dish. The crispy bits on top are also an unexpected yet delicious addition and pair well with the sticky rice and sauce. Looking forward to checking out the restaurant in person and trying out some of the main dishes“
“This was an excellent meal. Merci the hostess who served me and took my order was very nice and attentive. The food itself, excellent. The salad that I got was sooo good. The dressing is some kind of sesame dressing and it was fabulous. Usually restaurants treat their salads as an afterthought and give you something basic with ranch, but not Kai ramen. The salad, wow.The ramen was also excellent. The broth was great and full of flavor and was nice and warm (temperature and heat wise, I got medium). The dish had a lot of different ingredients which kept it exciting throughout.Excellent experience, will be back again!(Parking lot fills up quick and is small, plan accordingly)“
“I have been coming to Futaba for over 7 years and have not found better tonkotsu ramen in the whole LA Valley. I have tried many many Japanese restaurants, always trying to find the best place out there, but I never leave completely satisfied. I actually stopped coming to Futaba for over a year and today I decided to bring my kids as we were near the area. Coming today made me realize that I truly wouldn't recommend any other ramen place as much as I would this one. From the moment you walk in, the service, the atmosphere, everything makes you feel welcome. However, the best part is the taste, I wouldn't trade it. It makes you feel like you just went to Japan; a very traditional and flavorful ramen.I also liked that although most tables are for 2 people, they accommodated quickly for my party of 3. They gave us kids cups with a lid (which was a perfect save when my kid knocked it over), little utensils and plates. I appreciated their thoughtfulness on that regard, it saved me time trying to keep them clean during their meal. Definitely a must!“
“Wonderful quick lunch experience here. Owner is Thai, main chef is Mexican, exactly as it should be lolI got the lunch special pad see ew at $10.50 + $0.50 for fried rice, or $14 after tax / tip. Enjoyed the tofu soup, and was impressed by the quantity of the beef pad see ew. It was well-executed and I enjoyed dining in. I really wish this restaurant the best and will be back next time I’min the area!Vegetarian options: Tofu always an optionParking: Few“
“A nice, family owned Thai restaurant with good prices and massive portions. This is a great place to go if you’re waiting for your appointment at SDI across the street. I had the pad thai without egg to make it vegan and they happily accommodated. Will come back again.“
“Absolutely wonderful. It's refreshing to eat chicken katsu that's both juicy and has the perfect crunch on the outside. To make it better, it's curry compliment was bursting with flavor yet, it was not overwhelming. I think I got it medium for the spice level and it was perfect for me. I'll probably try to the spicer option when I go back. The chicken karage was also superb. The service was fast and the restaurant was very clean! I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu.“
“Customer service alone brings this place to 5 stars. The owner is a sweetheart and checked in on us throughout dinner and gave us the best recommendations. The food was incredibly tasty, I had the vegetable biryani and vegetable samosa and both were so good. The food came out quickly and tasted fresh. The place is clean and the decor is so cute. Excited to come back and try more food!“
“Such amazing food and wonderful service. We called close to when they were closing and they still happily told us they'd deliver. We thought the food might be dry or scraps because we called 20 minutes before they closed but no, we were so wrong. The food was super fresh, and the noodles were juicy and the portions“
“This place has the best sandwiches you’ll ever experience. All fresh, high quality, and tasty ingredients in all items on the menu. The staff is friendly and the owner is a great guy. Excellent service, delicious food, and good prices. Conveniently located right off Highway 101. Beats the long lines at In-N-Out. Make the stop. It’s worth it!“
“We have been going to this place since my daughter is 10yrs old. New owner upgrades the place looks so amazing, very clean and bright. The staff are very friendly, fast service and accurate taking orders. Food so delicious everything is fresh. Price very reasonable or I should say affordable. When we are lazy to prepare our dinner, just go straight to Bale Valley. I highly recommend Bale Valley to you all, those who been to this place 100% agreed with me.“
“My partner and I love eating here regularly. They have great lunch options, especially for people who follow a 100% gluten free diet or who have food allergies, although the food is so yummy that I would eat here even if I didn't have food restrictions. Huge selection of soups for all seasons, yummy salads and sandwiches, and she makes the absolute best cakes. It's a small cafe-like storefront that we feel at home in. Definitely recommend this place!“
“Talk about a hole in the wall. Right here in Pacas, this is place was a peasant surprise! Ordered me some bomb chilaquiles rojos con huevos estrellados con pancita y pedazo de carne asada. When asked, "Que tan picosos los quiere," le dije, "Muy! Si no estoy sudando, no disfruto la comida!" I was warned and sure enough, they did not disappoint. Them joints was straight lumbre!! My carnal ordered a pozole. Looked ok. My cafecito was aight. Gentle amable y servicial! Parking sucks. Trucha where you park and respect your surroundings.“
“1/09/2024The Ramen was superb. Natalie was nice and the place was very clean. The environment had good vibes. The price was more affordable than the other place I have been. I will defenitely come back and try other stuff. My overall experiebce was top notch.“
“Still working my way through the list of soups. Most have been excellent. A couple of just oks. Try the Thai coconut and add a tablespoon of peanut butter....insane! I am a carnivore and I still enjoy these.Dietary restrictions: If you are like me and struggle to eat more vegetables, this is an easy way to get better nutrition.“
“The food is so yummy, it was great trying out this new place & Jayne (Jane?) was amazing she was so sweet and friendly when I came in to order, very accommodating and even brought me water while I waited. It’s so refreshing to go somewhere to order & you’re greeted so kindly with a very positive sweet attitude. Thank you Jayne!“
“A lovely little place with authentic Japanese ramen and more! They were actually waiting when we came in (it was rainy and I think we were the first for the early afternoon) and yes, they ARE Japanese. My "nihongo" is not great, but the woman who welcomed us was all smiles and when I mentioned how it was KINDA cold ("chotto samui desu") she laughed and immediately started to speak in Japanese* and told us to sit wherever we wanted. She worked mostly in the kitchen area, but also took orders, while another older woman took our order but she, too, was very friendly. (*no, they speak English, you don't have to speak Japanese :-D )My wife and I started with the Chili Garlic Edamame, which is served warm and the flavor of the sauce it comes in was very tasty. We couldn't finish these because we dove into our entree's, but reheating them, at home, we finished the rest! They give you quite a lot of them!My wife got the spicy ramen and, not having had curry in quite a while, I ordered the chicken katsu curry. I will say, I was subject to LOTS of cheap ramen for a couple years, in my twenties, and it turned me off of ANY ramen, going forward... However, first my wife offered me the pork that came in the soup and it was very flavorful and the broth was great (you actually get the spicy seasoning as a little "blob" you stir into the rest of the broth) once I tasted that. So, I went ahead and tried the ramen noodles and I think I MIGHT try my own bowl the next time I go. It doesn't hurt that it was a rainy day and it was so nice, inside their place, with the warm soup... ;-)My katsu curry was great.. They actually serve the plate as rice, the katsu chicken and a japanese salad (can't remember what the greens were called) and the curry is separate so you can pour as much at a time as you want. The flavor was rich, just a little sweet, but not like some "Curry House" places that make the sweet overtake the savory. Overall it was just a great experience in this quaint, yet warm, restaurant. ** Also funny was that, while we were waiting for our food, I noticed that whatever music channel that was going was playing Miyazaki movie songs. Just added to the charm of the place for me... "Arigatou gozaimashite, Palms Ramen Yumeya!" :-)“
“I live about 5 minutes from Sawtelle and Seoul House of Tofu is where I go when I am looking for quick and decent soon dubu without making a trek out to Ktown. When it comes to parking, the lot can be a bit of a nightmare due to the busy Sawtelle location, so I like going during the weekday when it's not so crazypants there. Walking in, the restaurant itself is chill. The food comes out quickly and the portions are generous enough. The quality of the food is also good, standard. I wouldn't say it's the best, most fantastic place, but it'll satisfy my cravings! The service is good and it's usually easy to find a seat, even when it's busy. The thing about Korean food on the westside is that it is freaking pricey!!! We ordered the pajeon (Korean pancake) and a galbi/soondubu combo. The pajeon was $17 (insane to me) and the combo meal was $30.. but HEY, they know there's a demand for it on the westside and can get away with those prices! My favorite part about dining on Sawtelle though is after my meal, I usually treat myself to some boba, ice cream, or egg pancakes (all of which are sold in the neighboring businesses). Despite the high prices and high-traffic area, I will likely come back to this restaurant many many times.“
“The staff is so kind and the food is absolutely amazing! Super affordable and they play good music. I will definitely be frequenting this place again. It’s a really feel good environment and the energy is great. Thank you guys so much ♡“
“This is amazing! I love and miss my grandmas cooking so finding a place that has all my favorites frozen was incredible. I keep Manti and the koftas in my freezer for quick meals. Here at least once a week during my grocery runs. Super convenient, delicious food, and great service.Vegetarian options: They had over 40 vegetarian and vegan dishes.“
“Excellent local reseda Thai location! They have Me Grob (spelling?) which is a hard dish to make and they did it so good yummy! Pad Thai is the best thing so far, the short ribs little tough but flavor was there so still good just would not order again. Thai tea so yummy and comes with meal. Very friendly.“
“The people here are so nice! We showed up very late and they were gracious about taking our order. Then, we ordered a Thai Iced Tea when they had already shut down the card machine and we didn’t have cash, so she just gave it to us for free. Amazing place, would come again for sure!!“
“The food here is excellent. I recommend the Thai Fried Rice on Fire, and the Tom Kha Kai Soup w/chicken. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The layout of the restaurant is a clean simple style with an indoor fountain, some decorative plants & flowers, and old-school pictures of life and people in Thailand adorning the walls. Combined with the lighting and "easy-listening" music playing, it creates a very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.A nice little place to dine out for small groups. Or you can even order-out for delivery or pickup via Postmates.“
“We had shared salad breadsticks and lasagna that was excellent. The waitress was great and kept a attentive eye on us. The only thing that bothered us was screaming kids in both booths in front and behind us so next time we will ask to be sat someplace else which I'm sure will be accommodated!“
“One of the best pho spots in West LA! Per recs, I got chef's special and it was LOADED with tender ribs and tendon. They gave us a free bun thit - which they made accidentally and it was SO delicious too! Definitely recommend ordering the egg rolls as an appetizer. Patio seating is nice alongside the street of Sawtelle. Service was great and checked in on us frequently.“
“I thought I placed an order online. After 1/2 hour, I went to pick it up at about 6 pm. They did not have it. (My fault) However, they promptly got my 2 items ready and even offered me a snack. Great service, kindness, and especially food. The shrimp with lobster sauce was actually very tasty, and I had no urge to add my own garlic and other spices to it.“
“This is my favorite Thai place. I’ve been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. My favorite dishes are the roasted duck curry, the papaya salad, the pad see you and the tom yum soup. Ive tried many of their dishes but always come back to my favorites. The owners are very nice & polite. I’ve had great dine in experiences and also pick up/take out. Also LOVE their thai iced tea. If you’e in area I definitely recommend this place!Parking: Big parking lot for the entire shopping center. I’ve never had an issue finding parking.“
“The food was just absolutely incredible! Healthy, so many options and the portions are great! The staff always with a smile & very charismatic and kind. They treat you very special. The whole place has good energy & extremely clean. One of my new favorite healthy spots on the go!“
“I came here once last week and since then I've came about 6 times and I absolutely love the flavor and the customer service The Pad Thai, Cream Cheese Wontons & the Crying Tiger are my favorite. Extra sauce with everything because I am a saucy eater The Coconut Chicken soup with white rice is delicious as well. I add the vinaigrette sauce from the chopped jalapeños to my white rice then add the soup to it and it's delicious I give this place 100 stars“
“Loved this place! Super fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. Ordered the Nam Tok Salad, the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the Isaan Larb Kua. Everything was really tasty and the server was great about explaining the spice levels. The Nam Tok and the Isaan Larb Kua were especially delicious because of the use of lime juice -- that tangyness paired with the spiciness and the savoriness in both dishes was a winning combo. In terms of spice level, I'd say that I usually like spicy food and handle it well, and the Medium was just right. There are additional chili sauces available if you want to dial it up a little bit. Very generous portions and I was honestly quite stuffed. The price is also ridiculously low and I have to say this is one of the most amazing value Thai places I've ever been too -- the pad kee mow was $12.99 for the chicken version!! They were making pickled chilis on one of the side tables, which is one sign you know this place is legit -- when they make their sauces and condiments from scratch, by hand. Really looking forward to my next visit here.“
