The menu has a great selection and the fish is super fresh. “Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

“Love a fully vegan spot, and this place has a big menu and all the charm of a cute ma-and pop-restaurant. Also lots of fun restaurants in the same parking lot with seating, so something for everyone if they aren’t a vegan believer.

As for the food, all freshly made and piping hot. Love that you can add fake meats to anything for not too much extra.

Only nit-pick was I wasn’t a fan of the fried rice (not enough tofu for my taste and a bit bland), but portion size was plentiful.

“Couldn’t be more happy about my experience today. The staff were very kind and helpful and the food was beyond fulfilling. Nothing cheers me up more than ramen and Kai took it that much higher. Something about the tonkotsu in addition to the charsiu pork absolutely reigned based on my memory of LA selections. I don’t think I’ll ever get this close to thins location any time soon but I’m glad it left a valuable place in my ramen filled heart. ❤“

“I got the oyakodon set and it was such an elaborate meal, I felt like a queen. The oyakodon was so comforting and I really enjoy the fresh fish and tofu/beef sides!! I was also in a rush but the servers were kind enough to get me in and out in a jiffy :) Will be back!!“

The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. Purple wild rice was a delightful surprise. Diversity in texture, flavor, colors, and quality ingredients. No better way to catch up with a friend than eating outdoors at Beyond Vegan!“

“Great SOUPS! Very delicious and made with high quality ingredients. Friendly atmosphere and owner of the restaurant is friendly professional intelligent man. He poured 2 cups of soup for me and my little daughter complemented and the soups were the best what I ate for a years! I’m a soup lover and tested different soups in many countries around the world but Sole Soups Calabasas place is the greatest restaurant in my experience!“

Everything I’ve ordered has been excellent, and the Galbi and Seafood Sundubu stand out.
I usually dine in, though I sometimes order food to go. The quality has been consistently outstanding.

With so many great restaurants lining Sawtelle Blvd, located in the area known as Little Osaka, it can be hard to decide where to eat. This place is always at the top of my list.“

“What's there to say. It's Olive Garden. Endless breadsticks and soup or salad. I took advantage of their never ending pasta and had to be rolled out of there. Service was quick and friendly even though it was very crowded at dinner time. If you've never been it's worth a visit. The chicken and gnocchi soup was very tasty as well.“

“Nong La has a dedicated Canto Viet man diligently directing the back of the house day in and day out, making sure the food hits their level of comfortable consistent cuisine, which won’t exactly blow minds or taste buds, but fills an exotic unfamiliar question mark into a manageable modern meal.
