The lobster quality is great with thick claw meat and a nice sized pickle. The tomato bisque isn't bad, but I'll try the clam chowder next time.

Good Lobster is hard to come by since COVID. On splurge days, this is a really good choice. The people are cool too.“

“We had a great experience at our first time visit here. We celebrated my son's birthday and brought in a cake. The food was amazing except for the Alaskan salmon that they substituted from what we originally ordered. They have an all day happy hour on Monday to Thursday. The service was excellent and the servers even sang happy birthday when they brought out the cake. The place was nice and clean and it wasn't crowded when we dined. The only problem was the people on the next table were too loud and there was no wall dividing them to our table so the guy sitting behind my son's girlfriend keeps on bumping into her every time he moved. We will definitely go back here.“

“Glad Hurry Curry has reopened after closing their Sawtelle location. if you are new and don't know what to order, try the chicken cutlet curry and the Chicken pasta with Alfredo sauce. The curry is bold and savory. make sure to request picked vegetables for the curry. the chicken pasta is also rich and savory. both dishes complement each other without repeating the same experience. the portions are large so bring friends or bring home plenty of portions for leftovers.“

For the good: amazing summer rolls, everything is fairly priced. Thai coconuts are to die for. Love this joint.

However there's no table service, you pick up your tray at the counter, and then clean your own table. Therefore, why do they ask for tips? I don't understand.“

The food was flavorful. My friend ordered the namesake quesadillas, and I ordered the jackfruit tacos with mango salsa. Double the flavor - we shared our meals. Yum! The portions were large, filling, and pleased my soul. What I thought to be a side of mashed sweet potatoes was warm, smooth mashed beans. Tacos and quesadillas on point. “I’ve been struggling to find a decent Tonkatsu, but this one is among the best Ive had in the US. I’m not an expert in Japanese cuisine but I have been to Japan a few times an this place is within striking distance of the average tonkatsus I had there. I’ll be back when I’m in the area“

It was genuinely the first time in a while that I felt truly cared for and ensured that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, was taken care of. “I stayed at my friend’s place for five days while I was in LA. On the last day, I wanted to repay them a bit with a meal. It was a nice Korean place. I knew they wouldn’t let me pay, so I slipped out in the middle of the meal, gave my card to the waiter, and paid. I really thanked him for going along with it. The place was packed by noon. I can see why it’s popular.“

“My family and I typically have Golden Phoenix a few times a year and it never disappoints. Definitely the best Chinese restaurant around and all of the meats, chow mein and variations of rice are delicious. My personal favorite is the Spicy Beef, which I would always recommend.
