“This is by far the worst breakfast experiences I have ever had. If I could put zero stars I would. We put our order for scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“

“The doughnuts here are very interesting and unique. They are pretty good a little busy and definitely bougie. I would recommend giving them a try. They are very pretty but they have a lot going on. The s'more doughnut was quite delicious.“

Family owned shop with the mom and son working when my friend and I went in. So much variety, and the price point is low for all you’re getting.This is a bakery making old school, classic recipes. They veganized so many items that you can’t find in most places. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious, concha’s super tasty, Tres Leches was chef’s kiss, turnover amazing, danish great, cupcakes yum, eclairs fantastic and empanadas scrumptious. Highly recommend. Plus for folks who like supporting small business, this is exactly that. It’s a win-win-win-win. Taste-options-price-family owned & operated. Get there!“

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“I loved this place so much their food was amazing and their chocolate chip cookies delicious I don’t know if you guys might remember on March 2, 2024 around 5-6pm there were a bunch of orange shirted students and the place inside it so beautiful.“

“Solid American Restaurant serving up good burgers and drinks!They have a solid tap list for beer!House chips are crunchy and addicting.Their fries are crispy and solid with the aioli sauce!Burgers are supposedly American wagyu! It was a nice melt in your mouth patty. The toppings are something serious. Amazing bacon, pretty good mushrooms, delicious camerlized onions. “Every time I visit LA I stop by Spitz for a Mediterranean falafel wrap and half and half fries. It is always consistent, fresh, flavorful and filling. I crave the falafel wrap when I'm back home on the East Coast but haven't found anything that compares.“

“Super delicious cupcakes. They're soft and sweet, but not too sweet like some other cupcakes. Great flavors that taste real. We moved 45 mins away and still drive back for the cupcakes on special occasions. The owners are really nice too.“

Not much of a dining room, I would recommend just doing carry out. That being said the ingredients and overall taste were FANTASTIC, one of the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever eaten! “Brigadeiros are very rare to find in LA, so I consider myself lucky indeed to live near not just any brigadeiro shop, but an incredibly top notch brigadeiro shop. Maya herself is usually working behind the counter, and is such a kind and helpful person with any questions you might have about the sweets. And not just sweets--I also highly recommend the pão de queijo that she makes, perfectly cheesy and gooey Brazilian cheese bread! Lastly, Maya's brigadeiro favor boxes for weddings and parties are incredible, if you're looking for a truly unique favor that all your guests are sure to enjoy. We had brigadeiros as favors at our wedding, and Maya was beyond helpful throughout the entire process in choosing and designing the boxes, as well as which flavors to pick out. Couldn't recommend her more highly!“

“I recently moved to the area and this was our first time at The Proper Restaurant but it most certainly won't be our last. Everything ... and I mean everything was excellent! I started out with the Proper Clover Club cocktail and it was so refreshing and delicious. My husband and I then shared the white chicken chili which was equally delicious. For our entrees, my husband ordered the miso salmon which was out of this world and I got the chicken piccata. The chicken was cooked perfectly, lightly breaded and the pasta was tossed in a wonderful lemonny piccata. I also had a Malbec which was so smooth, I wanted to order the whole bottle (but alas, I did not). And since everything else was so good, we couldn't leave without ordering dessert -- the warm butter toffee cake. My mouth is still watering thinking about it. I can't wait to go back to The Proper Restaurant!“

“So good! I tried a number of menu items and loved each. The shrimp soup was perfectly spicy and packed with wonderful flavors, the appetizers (hot wings and chicken skewers) were outstanding and my entree - pad see ew with beef was just perfect. The service was ideal - helpful fast and informative. I'll definitely be back very often!“

“First time trying this place out. A busy coffee shop with both indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of people studying and working most likely while enjoying their drinks. I got the cold brew but didn't like it much, it was a bit too acidic for my taste. Will try other things next time I'm here. But I gotta mention it was the cheapest cold brew I ever bought, $4 for a 16oz ... they also sell baked goods such as scones and biscotti etc.... Service was friendly and fast. The ambiance is ok.“

“I've been coming here for years, I can't believe I haven't written a review! I love their food. My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.“

“This is one of my favorite brunch places in LA! The loco moco hits everytime and the matcha pancakes are something I order every time I eat here. Their pancakes are also something that my friends and I love to share. Service is fairly quick, I'd say food arrives 10 min after seating. They do get busy in the morning, so be sure to come early!“

“First time I even noticed this yogurt shop inside of Gelson's. I figured I'd give it a try. Glad I did. First off, Fernando and Kevin are awesome. Very pleasant. Fernando allowed me to try as many flavors as my heart desired. The service he provided was excellent. I tried their sweet vanilla and vanilla tart yogurt, chocolate yogurt, and some of their ice cream flavors. Everything was absolutely delicious. I ended up getting the vanilla sweet yogurt mixed with the vanilla tart yogurt. It was the perfect combination of sweet and tart. The texture of the yogurt is very smooth. Absolutely loved it. They also have a huge selection of low carb and low sugar flavors they alternate daily (see attached monthly calendar for flavors). Looking forward to trying how these taste next time I come. “Wanted a non-chain savory breakfast and Miracle Bakery popped up. Super nice owner has a sparkling clean,adorable corner bakery across from my motel. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese,lettuce, avocado) with brewed coffee for $10. Can't beat the taste, quality or service.Vegetarian options: Ordered the breakfast sandwich, very good, just skip meat. There are a couple other choices.“

“The absolute best catering for salads, sandwiches and appetizers with nice presentation and at amazing prices. Anytime I have their food at a party, there’s always compliments. They serve authentic Armenian food. I recommend the Eech, Lavash wraps, mini Khachapouris/Boregs! Their lunch menu is just as good! ?“

“I stopped here for breakfast before going to Universal Studios Hollywood as it's located so close. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! This is a cute little French cafe. The decor was very thoughtful with French flags and cozy seats. I wish it was night time as it looked like they have lovely fairy lights for the evenings. The person at the register was friendly and our food was fresh made and probably took about 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered the alpine tartine without bacon and it was DIVINE. I really enjoyed it and the mix of Brie, sour cream, egg, potatoes, and bread. I did add some hot sauce and pepper but it was very good. I appreciate the side salad to balance out the heaviness. I did not have space for their pastries but they looked amazing. I will say the one major downside is that they did not have espresso or specialty drinks when I visited which I found disappointing. I got a canned cold coffee which was okay. I would've loved a latte or cappuccino to pair with my breakfast.“

“Came here on a rainy day with my dog and loved what a great spot this was. It was pretty dead but the coffee selection was great (although espresso was a little burnt), there is ample space for your dog outside and inside. Highly recommend the empanadas!“

“We have visited Tarme several times and we have been very happy with the food and service & the cleanliness of the restaurant. We have ordered several of times the fried fish. It is a whole fish crispy on the outside but tender on the inside . Very tasty with a pita, hummus & tabbouleh. My husband and I share it & we love it. We have also tried their chicken and beef kabob and these are also very delicious. Outdoor patio seating is a nice option if you want some fresh air.“

“For all espresso snobs, it's legit! I was pleasantly surprised. I got a latte. Never get syrups or sugar and very balanced and smooth. Interesting notes. Really nice. Milk was great texture and temperature. I don't live close but anytime I'm in the area I know where I'm going. “Solid pizza, we ordered the general combo and also got their chicken pesto. Both were delicious. I'm a big fan of chicken wings, so we got those as well. Medium size wings but packed with a lot of flavor. I have eaten wings from pretty much everywhere nearby and I'll give these ones a solid 8/10. The mocha was not too sweet, with just a hint of spiciness, and the croissant was delicious. The banana bread, no joke, was the best I’ve ever had in my life. “I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and this place has just become my go to. I have had the pad see we and pad Thai and both were delicious. I got takeout, mind you, and the quality and flavor was not compromised, as it sometimes is with takeout. The food was freshly made, steaming hot, and very the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. “Could not recommend Sugar Babies more! I reached out to Mae via email to inquire about a dessert spread for a baby shower. I sent along some inspiration photos for the theme and requested a quote and she got back to me with the best prices in the LA area. Not only did the desserts turn out so cute, they were delicious too! Such a big hit with the guests. Mae was great with communicating via email exchange and pick up on the day of was seamless. We will definitely be reaching out to Mae and her team for more events and dessert needs.“

“I am a big fan of Thai food and have tried many places around the Los Angeles area. This is by far the best Thai food I have ever had. The food tases fresh and is extremely flavorful. The portions are reasonable. My roommate, who does not normally eat Thai, went there with a friend and loved it. So I had to try it. The Basil Fried Rice is unique and delicious. We both enjoyed the Grilled Chicken as well.“

“Sugar bloom has some of the best croissants I've ever had. My go to chocolate almond croissant is car artisan chocolate in Pasadena but usually by the time I get there they're sold out most of the time so I've been on the looking for another place to get my croissant fix and I can safely say I've found it. You have to order two days in advance and pickup before 3pm but it's worth it for sure. Everything I got was good and I plan on trying the rest of their offerings over the next few weeks. The lady at the door was also super friendly. The store was easy to find but parking was kind of hard to find when I went at 1pm.“

“Our family enjoyed a delicious and beautifully decorated chocolate mousse layer cake for Easter. The cake was moist and very chocolaty and the mousse in between the layers made it decadent. I also highly recommend the chocolate cupcakes with miniature Oreos on top. We get them for birthday parties because both adults and kids love them. This local bakery is the BEST.“

“I've been going to Victorio's since I was a little kid and it holds many wonderful childhood memories for me. As an adult with a busy schedule, it's my go-to after work spot to grab a take out sandwich before they close for the night. In that regard, both Jonathan and Carla are AWESOME!! They truly demonstrate exemplary customer service and in general are lovely people to chat with as I wait for my food to be ready.
