It’s an all day place with breakfast, lunch and dinner. Got here between breakfast & lunch and both menu looks fantastic. Want to order them all but settled for pizzas and salad & of course lemonchello spitz. Great pizza dough and the ingredients are fresh and you can see and taste it that it makes with love for sure. Salad was good abit blanched for me but was focusing on the pizza so…very well make and well cook in the wood fired oven. The pastries look delish and smell fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly, no rush but chill vibe type of service. Prices wise, for 2 pizzas, a cocktail, and a salad and with tip…$150. Parking can be a hassle but if you are willing to walk a little, free neighborhood street parking or if you can find parking within 200feets, then it will be paid street parking or paid garage parking nearby. Still thinking of their pizzas, yum!“

“Fantastic gelato! Honestly better than many gelatos I’ve tried in Italy. You can tell that each flavor is homemade and made with high quality ingredients. Apparently the fruit flavors contain more than 50% of the actual fruit! We had the watermelon, brownie, and pistachio and loved every bite.

The owners are lovely and we also got to meet their cute corgis. Seriously could not recommend this place more; if I lived nearby I would come here all the time.“

“Fantastic neighborhood lunch spot. Everything is quick, fresh and tasty! You can really tell how much love and creativity Chef Uyen puts into the menu. There are always new weekend specials and a large vegan& vegetarian selection. Several different types of banh mi sandwiches, al in delicious warm bread. The summer rolls are so refreshing in the heat and a large portion size. Their drinks are delicious too! I always grab a limeade or pennywort juice to complete the meal. I also really admire and appreciate their commitment to feeding and caring for the community through their meal program. All in all, a fantastic, delicious and ethical local spot to support ❤“

“The Butcher’s Daughter is one of those places I know I can come back to and always have a great experience. Located in the Melrose/West Hollywood area, it has such a beautiful aesthetic. The decor has this really warm, bohemian feel with lots of natural light, greenery, and an overall relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile.

The food is all vegetarian, so if you’re looking specifically for meat options, this isn’t the place. BUT I will say everything is DELICIOUS. They do have vegan + gluten free options available as well, which makes it a great option for groups with different dietary preferences. Everything we ordered was really good, fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared.

The service was another highlight. The servers were genuinely kind, attentive, and accommodating. We had a larger group of more than 7 to 10 people, and they were able to accommodate us, which I really appreciated. Getting a larger group together can sometimes be a headache, so having a restaurant that can make it feel easy is a big plus.

Overall, I really enjoy the combination of the food, atmosphere, and service here. The space is beautiful during the day when all the natural light comes in, and the bohemian decor gives it a very relaxed but still stylish vibe.

If you’re looking for a pretty, welcoming spot with great vegetarian food, good service, and a fun atmosphere, The Butcher’s Daughter is definitely worth checking out. It’s one of those places that consistently delivers a good experience, and I’d happily come back again.“

“A friend and I visited Il Forno Trattoria last Saturday. After we left, my friend realised she had lost her grandmother's ring, of great sentimental value. We telephoned the restaurant even though it had already closed for the night, and the team immediately invited us back to search. When we arrived, the staff were cleaning up but had already started to look for the ring and helped us look through the restrooms and, kitchen. At least three or four employees actively helped, including providing gloves and helping us go through the trash to ensure it was lost in a restroom trash can. It was clear that everyone was genuinely concerned and willing to do whatever they could. Although the ring was not found, their professionalism, empathy, and willingness to stay late and actively help without question have left a lasting impression. I mustn’t forget the meal itself had been excellent: well‑prepared dishes, attentive yet unobtrusive service, and a well‑chosen wine list. Taken together with the staff’s extraordinary support, the experience showed Il Forno Trattoria at its best. It is the epitome of excellent service.
