“we dined in here last week. the pad thai was excellent…as well as the fried rice and pumpkin curry.the beef pepper sauce wasn’t very good.the place was clean and nice. good parking space also.the staff was just bout okay..i like it so much i passed by again yesterday for a pick up order.i made a mistake of ordering fried rice (vegetable). it’s too “veggie” for me but may not be an issue for others.“

“I have tried almost every Thai restaurant in the area in an attempt to find the best curry. Today I chose takeout for my first visit to Sri Siam Cafe. You'll be glad to know the place is tidy which is a plus (I usually order takeout to avoid unsightly decor so it doesn't cloud my judgement.) Upon entering, I was greeted by a server and cashier but I already know what I wanted after seeing review photos on yelp. I ordered the Green Curry/Soft Shell Crab dish and a side of rice. My jaw dropped at the $30 price point but I had already made up my mind. I could have easily switched it to the curry w/crispy pork for far less. My initial reaction opening my bag was that the curry serving was not big enough and I had my fingers crossed that there were at LEAST 2 crabs in the lunch size box so I wouldn't have to throw a food fit! To my surprise the box was PACKED with crispy crab pieces! I already had about 5 pieces before i took the picture and the curry tub was full. Super tasty seasoning on the meat too! Just wish I had some vinegar dipping sauce. 5/5 would come back!“

“What a lovely meal. Our server, Alan, is the greatest. Friendly, charming, w/ great advice for our meal. Food was delicious and the pacing made nothing languished at our table. The music is the exact right volume to make sure your conversation stays yours while the surrounding voices create an exciting din. Will be back, 100% Thank you!!Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are wide enough for a manual chair, staff is delightful & accommodating. For a small, older restaurant it's remarkably accessible.“

“We're looking for a nice Thai food after a long walk at the Universal Studios and found this place. We ordered Pad Thai, panang, and satay! They were so tasty and delicious! My family and I are from Las Vegas and will go back there to eat when we come to California because we enjoyed eating at their outdoor patio with garden plants surrounding us.“

“I'm half Thai but not vegan, and I brought my vegan friend here. The food was pretty good in our opinion! We got Thai tea (good, considering it's vegan), egg rolls (just OK for me but I generally don't like restaurant egg rolls), and drunken noodles (pretty good). The dining room is tiny but nice and bright on a sunny day. Our waitress was friendly and patient while we looked over the menu. The prices weren't bad either, so definitely try it out if you like Thai food and are in the area looking for veg options!Vegetarian options: Everything is veganDietary restrictions: Everything is veganParking: There is a small lot in the back. I think part of Bennett has free 2 hr parking. About a block west on Cahuenga, there are metered spots (30 min, 1 hr, 2hr)“

“The mango sticky rice here is so good! The mangos were really fresh and there were plenty of slices that came with the dish. The crispy bits on top are also an unexpected yet delicious addition and pair well with the sticky rice and sauce. Looking forward to checking out the restaurant in person and trying out some of the main dishes“

“This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. It's actually a Thai restaurant and it's so amazing. Start with the soup. It's so delicious and authentically thai. I've never had a bad meal here and it's definitely one of my staples for Los Angeles. Yes, it is completely vegan!Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“

“The food was really good which is reflected in the stars. When we got there, no one in the dining room - no customers, no employees. So we stood there and called out and eventually some one came out to seat us. Not much atmosphere, but overlooked for good fresh flavorful food. Most annoying thing is that the phone kept ringing with a high-pitched whine, and no one answered it. I want to subtract another star for that, but the food was too good.“

“This is my new favorite Thai spot! I always get take-out/delivery so can't attest to the service but so far my orders have always been accurate and hot! My go-to order is the chicken pad Thai and the filet mignon with garlic string beans. The pad Thai stands out to others because of their sauce (I get mine extra saucy). Will be ordering again soon!“

“Wow. I'm Singaporean so I grew up eating the best of the best Hainan Chicken (in my opinion). This is the first time I felt like I tasted anything similar to what I had growing up. My hubs and I both ordered the Hainan Steamed Chicken and were both mmmmmming from the first bite. It's a humble mom and pop shop that I would love to continue to support. Everyone was very kind and very friendly. This will be my place for Hainan Chicken from now on.“

“We saw Dek Sen’s post on @sanfernandovalleyeats , so we looked them up.Dek Sen’s is an interesting name, we were told it means favorite person in Thai☺️We were reluctant to order kimchi fried rice at a Thai restaurant but so glad we did. It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. They don’t speak much English but they are very accommodating. We are super happy to find another restaurant close by that we love. Will definitely go back for more!“

“This is honestly the best Thai spot that I've ever been! The bbq chicken and drunken noodles melts in your mouth. The inside of the building looks very aesthetic and was the perfect vibe for my girlfriend and I for date night. The waitresses were super nice & very informative and helped guide us to the perfect dining experience. This place is way better than a 5/5 - broke the scale. My favorite Thai place of all time“

“So good! I tried a number of menu items and loved each. The shrimp soup was perfectly spicy and packed with wonderful flavors, the appetizers (hot wings and chicken skewers) were outstanding and my entree - pad see ew with beef was just perfect. The service was ideal - helpful fast and informative. I'll definitely be back very often!“

“I've been coming here for years, I can't believe I haven't written a review! I love their food. My favorite item to order is their mung bean pad thai, although I wish there was an option to get it with soy chicken or beef and not just tofu skewers. The tofu cubes are huge so the flavor doesn't really penetrate them. I like this dish because the noodles and veggies are flavorful. My family also enjoys cashew nut lover dish and the buddha rolls. Those are so filling, I can just get those and be happy. If you like thai tea, you must try it here. So good. One star off because parking is difficult, especially on weekends, and it's a little pricy for me. The good thing is that inflation has led to all restaurants raising their prices in the last couple of years, so I am more used to it and not as bothered as I used to be . Note: the seats are incredibly uncomfortable so if you dine in and have back issues like me, bring a cushion.“

“Will definitely need to return and try their other dishes!!!This little gem sits in the corner of a fairly small shopping center.I tried their chicken pad Thai, and baby, when I tell you that their spice had my nose running. I choose 4 out of 5 spice level and I should have gone with 3 lol. I'm happy that when they Say spicy, they mean it. I've been to many places that claim spicy, but this one is legit.I went during the lunch special hour, which I believe runs from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The lunch special includes your choice of soup or salad, I chose the soup which was a fried egg soup, It was very delicious. My main course was the chicken pad Thai, and it was very tasty. You could actually taste and see the color of the sauce they use, the noodles were a dark brown. The chicken itself was tender, but, I believe they use chicken breast which runs a little on the dry side, but the amount of sauce they use makes up for it. I also ordered the Thai milk team, and it was divine. The portions were great, no complaints, this is definitely a deal. I will be returning to try other dishes. The staff were very friendly, and right away you notice that they are making an effort to be friendly with their clients. The waiter asked if this was my first time, which lets me know that they make an effort to remember their customers. Both waiters were very attentive, and even though they were somewhat busy, they ensured to follow up with me. I was so full after my meal, I did not have any room for dessert. But, hopefully next time!Parking isn't the most difficult, but it is limited in their parking lot. Luckily, there is residential parking adjacent to the restaurant. Just keep an eye out on the parking restrictions, you don't want a ticket. The restroom was very clean when I used it, and they had a scented candle that was lit.The restaurant itself was pretty small, and seating was a little bit tight, but you would comfortably be able to sit a table of four. But, that's also coming from someone who's fairly thin. Unfortunately, there is no outdoor seating. But, that's not a big deal.I highly recommend trying this place out, just keep in mind that their spicy is actually spicy lol. Also, their muscled up fortune kitty is hilarious, love it!. ?Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly as the restaurant is small and the takes are a bit close to each other.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, but not extremely easy.“

“We decided to give this location another try and we were blown away by all of the delicious meals they prepared. The shrimp pad see ew was flavored to perfection. The crab fried right was just right and the spicey fried rice was balanced with the right amount of heat. You can always request the kitchen to turn up or turn down the spice level according to your taste buds. Try the lychee martini, you will thank me later. The service was five-star from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, perfect for a local date night. We had a great time guys, thank you and we will see you guys again soon.“

“Just ordered from here for the first time! The area seemed a little sketchy - but they have their own parking lot (it's a ghost kitchen) and the pickup was fairly easy! The staff working there was soooo nice and kind. And the most important part: the food was really freaking good. Probably the best Tom yum soup I've had in a long time. SO MUCH FLAVOR. My new to go Thai spot for sure!! I also ordered some noodles on the side to put in the soup and it had fried garlic on top - YUM. Can't wait to go back :) love that they're open late too!“

“Excellent vegan food. I got the vegan pho, which was HUGE. Normally vegan pho comes with more vegetable in it and this one comes with only spinach, so I decided to order a side of steamed broccoli. But when the soup came, I was shocked at how big the portion was. To be honest I was starving and even then I could have not ordered the broccoli and been fine. There was plenty of spinach in the phon and it was packed full of flavor. The waitress was very friendly and the place was clean. Parking was ok, I ended up parking on the residential street to the left of the restaurant because the lot seemed too packed directly in front of the restaurant.Vegetarian options: EverythingDietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free“

“This was my first order from here. I could just tell that they do care about their customers. I love Pad Thai I know it's like the most basic thing but not everyplace can hit it. Everytime I order through Postmates or door dash from different places that would be only 15 mins away, The Pad Thai would just get so dry and got no flavor when it gets to me eventho there would be a request saying "please make it extra saucy" no one seemed to ever listen. But Delish Thai Kitchen CAME THROUGH with the extra saucy and so much flavor. And they even left me a note I really do appreciate that you did that. Thank you Gonna be my favorite place to order from now.“

“Small operation with BIG taste! We usually drive 20-30 minutes to Thai Town, but wanted to stay local. Thai Touch had the best reviews in the area, and after trying it, I can see why. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, with 5-6 tables and probably a capacity of sitting maybe 13-15 people at a time. Our party of 2 came on a Saturday at 6pm and there was no wait. There's a parking lot. They were busy with delivery orders though. The food was really, really good. We'd recommend the mango fish, pineapple curry, and pad thai. We'll be back to try the mango sticky rice. Pro-tip if you've read this far, the Yelp check in deal when dining in person is 25% off your order. That's probably the best check in deal I've ever seen on Yelp. You're welcome ;)“

“When we walked we got off to a rough start when it took a little while to be seated. There are signs that ask patrons to be patient, which sets up your expectations. The ladies working there are so cute and very welcoming. They hustled and were kind and polite. We ordered Pad Si Ewe and Satay and both were flavorful and delicious. We also ordered mango with sticky rice, which came with a huge portion. I have no words on how good the food was! Great place would go again.“

“I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and this place has just become my go to. I have had the pad see we and pad Thai and both were delicious. I got takeout, mind you, and the quality and flavor was not compromised, as it sometimes is with takeout. The food was freshly made, steaming hot, and very the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The dishes are not overly oily, but rather full of flavor. I love that they don't use MSG nor canned ingredients. I'll be coming back for more. Thank you for your delicious food and kind service.“

“Great value for the price! The pad thai + rice combo was a bit surprising to me, but the portion is generous for the $11 (and you can change the rice to fried rice for +$1). My partner went for a spicy bowl of tom yum koong and was quite satisfied with it.Servers were very nice, and the restaurant is a pleasant spot in a convenient location.“

“I was sad to leave our favorite Thai food place behind after moving 200 miles away. In comes Original Thai NoHo! “This Thai spot is phenomenal. The owner cooks food that is authentic, plated beautifully, and unapologetically flavorful. Each bite is a time travel bomb that takes me back to the time I was gorging myself at street food vendor stalls in Bangkok. The location is within an office space area used for AA and community meetings. It comes across humble and the dining area is separate from the actual community building space. The tables are clean and extremely well kept. The owner clearly pays attention to detail when it comes to maintaining her dining area and silverware/cutlery. The owner herself is very accommodating and welcoming. She takes the time to answer questions about the menu and offers adjustments to spice levels if needed. She also cooks and serves all the food herself with the help of one other individual in the back kitchen, so patience is key but completely worth the time investment. The food was so outrageously delicious I didn't have time to take more pics the first time I went. It was so good in fact, I came back immediately the next day to try the crab fried rice pictured below. The serving sizes are generous and the spice and flavor is second to none. I'm so impressed with how high quality all the dishes are and everything tastes so impeccably fresh. Crab fried rice - the crab meat is legitimately fresh and generously portioned. The rice is well seasoned and the veggies mixed in with the egg are a perfect compliment to the crab. I really enjoyed this dish and it comes with a side of spicy seasoning sauce you can add to kick up the heat a notch. Crying Tiger - not pictured below, but man what a stand out dish. The flavor of the rib eye pieces are so well balanced and the dipping sauce for the meat is so distinct it really adds depth to the rice and salad accompaniments. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad as well, and the amount again did not disappoint. I have nothing but overall praise to give this place and I know I will be frequenting this spot often for the foreseeable future.“

“I am a big fan of Thai food and have tried many places around the Los Angeles area. This is by far the best Thai food I have ever had. The food tases fresh and is extremely flavorful. “We ordered 4 items and one dessert. The seafood items ( glass noodles shrimp salad, and basil shrimp with rice) were very tasty. So tasty, we will go back for more one of these fine days. The service wasn't that wonderful; the woman was a bit abrupt but after tasting the food, we decided we can put up with the "attitude" as the food tasted that good. My daughter says the dessert was delicious!Hoping the food quality remains, will update next time.“

“I was riding by on my bike and liked how this place looked with a cool sign and logo. The large dining area only had a few customers and I was served promptly. “My first experience with Thai food was when my dad took me to Thai Spirit back in 1982. While it might not be the same name of the restaurant (I do believe it is though) the location is the same. That first taste of Pad Thai and an order of their roasted duck left an indelible mark on me, and I can happily report that Thai Spirit is still serving up some good Thai food. From their flavorful roasted duck to the choice of fried fish (trout or salmon), everything hits the spot. And let's not forget about their delicious Pad Thai - it's as mouthwatering as ever! Back in the early 2000s, we used to order from Thai Spirit all the time, and even with the influx of Thai restaurants in the area, Thai Spirit remains a standout. The authenticity and flavor are just as impressive as they were back in 1982. It's 2024 now so that spans 42 years of eating at this restaurant. That's pretty remarkable.“
