The aesthetic and charm are one-of-a-kind. The whole place, from the colored booths to the classic decor, feels like a true, authentic, old-school mom and pop diner that you don't see anymore. It's immaculate, vibrant, and full of nostalgic character.
But the atmosphere is only half the story. The heart of George's 50s Diner is its amazing staff. It’s clear that this is a family-run and operated establishment, and the folks who work there are genuinely so kind and welcoming.

“SO we are from VA and just moved here we’ve been trying all the food and this burger spot Is PERFECT! The burger was phenomenal and the portions were so big I couldn’t even finish it (normally I can down any food quickly😂) my kids got free meals which I was shocked when we pulled up at saw it!! But they were tyrants and my server was so kind and ik were annoying but she did not one time show any ounce of irritation towards my family and I which also is really special because we have 3 under 3 that cause havoc everywhere so we often eat at home ANYWAYS our server and the hostess were very attentive is highly recommended Woodys. Priced decent and they have seating outside which is great, side side note the access and parking is great too!! I saw they had a drive through window which again 10/10! Overall I highly recommend!!!!“

“Late night breakfast with my wife. The server is nice, food is was good, fries was slightly overcooked but some over head lights could use a replacement since it was broken. Overall probably better Dennys than the one on Beach and Garden Grove haha“

“Food is always good here. The Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll pancakes were incredible. Their homemade sausage is so good with a little bit of spicy. Service is always quick and friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are plenty of tables to roll wheelchair right up to. Take my wheelchair bound mother-in-law here without any issues“

“I've had onsistent quality service at this location. It's low key with a calm atmosphere, unlike many wild locations. I dislike the backside parking down the long driveway. I don't like having to walk so far to the door and not being able to see my car. So I always park right in front on Atlantic Ave. No issues so far. 👍“
