“It's a small dolphins bar. Glad we came, My boyfriend is a huge dolphins and heat fan. Everyone who came cheered on the dolphins and they won the game. Seats were filled and packed with dolphin fans! It was great. I found one seat at the bar and the owner Tony was really nice. Got me a beer right away and my friends came we enjoyed a pizza from Lucifers from down the st and enjoyed the night.

“From my standpoint, the best arcade in LA. Nice reason: They hosted a wedding reception for me recently! Event planning and staff were incredibly supportive and attentive to details. We got to play some nice wedding themed visuals on the screens and allow everyone for a nice afternoon of play and drinks (with catering delivering to us). Aside our special event, they have a nice selection of games, a very relaxing atmosphere, nice drinks, and special events like karaoke! If you're at all a nostalgic arcade goer or into gaming in some capacity, it is a must visit.“

“I stopped here to watch the Dodgers World Series game 1. This is the local dive bar, the crowd was loud but the Dodgers had a walkoff home run so I was expecting some noise. Pool table was old school, only a quarter to play with a chalkboard of who’s next. I had a fun evening and the lady behind the bar bought me a beer, how often does that ever happen. I'll admit, I didn't expect to fall in love with El Potro Bar. At first glance, I thought it might not be my vibe, but boy was I wrong! This hidden gem has become my regular haunt, and for good reason.

The real stars of the show are bartenders Alejandra and Raquel. They're two of the kindest, most attentive, skilled and attractive bartenders I've encountered in ages. Their warm smiles, quick wit, and expertly crafted drinks make every visit a delight.

Sure, the atmosphere might be laid-back and slow-paced, but that's exactly what I've grown to appreciate. No pretentiousness, just genuine hospitality and a cozy ambiance that makes me feel right at home.

Alejandra and Raquel know their stuff, always willing to offer recommendations or whip up something special. Their passion shines through in every pour, and it's infectious.

Don't let the slow pace fool you - El Potro Bar has become my favorite spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a perfectly chilled beer.

“My husband and I usually go during happy hour for their poke nachos and crispy brussel sprouts but have tried a few other things. Everything we've tried has been delicious but occasionally varies in preparation quality. We went on March 18th and ordered the poke nachos but they were not as good. The portion was a lot smaller than usual, so we decided to order another one. The second one came out great (I included a picture of the one prepared correctly) and that's when we realized they left off ingredients from the first one sent. They were still good but it was interesting that the two plates were that different. We didn't mention this to our waiter and I'm sure they would have been accommodating but maybe plates should be checked for quality before they're delivered?

Another note, we usually sit at the bar but we got a table the last time since the bar was packed. We were obviously fine with this but the cleanliness was extremely lacking. The menus had food on them and greasy fingerprints. I'm also not sure why the booths are never wiped down?? The tables are cleaned but the food just lands on the seats. Then you're wondering what else isn't cleaned, look around, and notice all the other spots that aren't wiped down. So gross.“

“That Saugus Steak is an amazing dinner! Salad, then the bacon wrapped steak. Veggies, potato, rice, fries are some of the options for the 2 sides. And yummy garlic toast. The steak was delicious, the veggies cooked nicely. And afters? A cup of ice cream. With sodas, we totalled out under $70. Same as Sizzler nowadays, and far more delicious. Plus eating in a cool historic site. Waitress was super friendly, other patrons also happy to be there. Great oldies playing, we all sang along to some primo hits! We return for a pleasant dinner often, even though it's a half hour drive from home.“

I found the place through a quick internet search and didn’t really know what to expect, but I was able to make a reservation online for a party of 13 with no issue. Our reservation was right when they opened at 11am on a Sunday, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves—just a couple of people at the bar. The space definitely leans more bar than grill, but it worked well for our group. Very low-key and relaxed. The menu had plenty of options, which was great since we had a few picky eaters. Everyone found something they liked, and the food was excellent across the board. The service stood out—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We didn’t order many drinks, but even so, I was surprised at how reasonable the bill was for such a large group. Only downside: the bathroom could use a refresh. “The BEST steakhouse I have ever been to. And the best Restaraunt in Santa Clarita. Very intimate and old school and just the right amount of flare and nostalgia. The cooks take their time and are elegant and hard working. Staff is always nice and the food is always hot and cooked well. Anything you order here will be a 10/10 and their steak will beat out anything in Los Angeles or beyond in my opinion! The potatoes are famous here and the clam chowder is to die for. Get the extra black ground pepper! Garlic bread is also a staple. Really can’t go wrong anything you order though. You will never be disappointed here!!“

Here, I was pleasantly surprised by what seemed to me to be an affordable menu, and now I can say that I loved the hot dog (only brown mustard on mine) with its nice fluffy bun, the perfectly cooked tater tots, and some chicken wings and lemonade. Had I not been invited here, I may never have walked through those doors, but now I'm glad that I have, and I plan to be back.“
