“We were served by a nice young lady who was very welcoming. It was our first time there so she was patient with how long it took for our table to pick food. They have a wide selection and variety of foods. I usually get certain foods and today i decided to get something different. Truthfully I wasn’t a big fan of the chicken Florentine and wish it had more sauce. That was it. Everything else was amazing! The pizza was soo good and has a nice,thin and crispy crust that stayed firm when I picked it up. The calamari was amazing as well. They provided bread as well which I didn’t expect to be seasoned or toasted the way it was. I thought it was plain like most restaurants serve but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only that, but the portions are HUGE. I would definitely come here again when I’m in town, just maybe with a different order because other peoples orders looked amazing.“

“I was in Burbank for work recently and I randomly chanced upon this place looking for a little spot to grab a glass of wine and a snack. I’m here to tell you, man, no cap (as the kids say) do not sleep on this place. It’s fantastic. Mouthwatering wine selection, a magical player piano, cocktails for days, delicious nibbles, extremely welcoming bartenders with great stories (I'm looking at you, Jeff!). I feel confident going as far as saying that every time you’re in Burbank and you choose not to stop in for a drink at Wax Poetic...God kills a kitten! Don't be a kitten-killer, go today!! 👀🫣🍷“
