“I was in Burbank for work recently and I randomly chanced upon this place looking for a little spot to grab a glass of wine and a snack. I’m here to tell you, man, no cap (as the kids say) do not sleep on this place. It’s fantastic. Mouthwatering wine selection, a magical player piano, cocktails for days, delicious nibbles, extremely welcoming bartenders with great stories (I'm looking at you, Jeff!). I feel confident going as far as saying that every time you’re in Burbank and you choose not to stop in for a drink at Wax Poetic...God kills a kitten! Don't be a kitten-killer, go today!! 👀🫣🍷“

“Love, love, love! This place has the cutest vibe and great stuff! The charcuterie boards are so good! I’ve tried the cold brew as well very good! This time we decided to get rosé. They have a great wine selection and their staff are so sweet! Would definitely recommend!!!“
“We absolutely adore this neighborhood wine shop. Haley is super knowledgeable about wine and always makes fantastic recommendations. She sources a lot of wine from smaller vineyards so there's always something unique. Her overall curation of the shop is fantastic, and she works so hard to create a fantastic community space as well. The shop often hosts events and game nights for the local community, and when there aren't events going on, it's still a great place to buy a bottle, grab a glass, and catch up with friends (or on work). As an added bonus, there are usually 2-3 cute dogs hanging out in the space :)“

“This restaurant is phenomenal! First of all the food is dreamy, I particularly LOVE the shrimp pasta. The cocktails are also just insane i love the fresh fruit in them sooo yummy! We have come multiple times and every time is great. Staff is always so friendly. Came on Fathers Day w/ the hubby & sat at the bar. Our bartender Lexi was killin it. She was the ONLY BARTENDER on a holiday!!!! Two thumbs up for her thats one hard workin chickie and doing it all with a smile! Definitely come check Lure out!“

“Our Friend Vahe took us this week for a Tapas Treat to this gem on Ventura Blvd. They have been serving the valley with excellent Tapas for 20+ years. We went all the way - tried and shared most of the small tapas - croquetas, mushroom, shrimp, patatas and all the little baguette delicacies - and had a really good time. They have live music - a wonderful guitar player - on some days. If you like Spanish guitar worth checking out his dates in the place. If you care for Tapas - this is the right place.“

“Wonderful new location in Woodland Hills. Very upscale and comfortable. Always great service and fantastic food. Their 3 course dinner for $60 can't be beat and the food always come out sizzling hot via their plate warming technique. Great place for a drink and dinner at the bar or for a more formal dinner with friends in one of their more formal dining rooms. And..corkage is very reasonable.“
