“Tried this restaurant, for lunch on the advice of my dental hygienist. I imagine as the name suggests, the building is a former bank.Inside is an open room which is quite large. There are booths along the right side with tables in the middle. Unfortunately. I don't recall what is on the left side. There is a nice full bar set in the back of the room.I wish I had taken photos.I ordered a patty melt with waffle fries and iced tea. The food and drink were very good! I couldn't eat it all so, I boxed up my leftovers and enjoyed them for dinner.“
“The foods always good, but in my opinion it looks & seems they're always understaffed, which makes the waiting time for your order takes a huge toll on my rating. It's also effected one of the orders I'd made expressing to the guy who took the order & was having to help make the awesomely priced Family meal deal, which is(if I recall right)5 burgers, 5 lil'ish sacks of fries, & 5 drinks of your flavor choice. Id simply wanted no pickles/no onions on two or three burgers, they even marked the bags for me, yet when I brought them home home to mom(the no pickles/onions-- they all still had them lol. It was a kinda lil flum up, easily forgivable, the meal deal was $22.00 I think when tx was added. So worth the wait when u want good home grown tasting fast food for an alright price. ^u^“
“Thick, yummy shakes, with an accommodating straw (nobody does that!). Crunchy, hot fries. Best burger in town, and I've been to them all! A huge group of motorcycles pulled in before us, and we still got the expected service with a (big) smile and the order was perdect!! Take THAT, Bakersfield Sonic!!“

“Every time I go in for a meal, they are super awesome. Everything on the menu is delicious. The staff are always friendly and even when super busy still let you know you will be taken care of as soon as possible. They've got an upstairs stage area for live music. There is always something going on at the Oasis, so slip on down and have a good time.“
“Very happily surprised to find such a jewel of the lunch stop as we pulled into Taft on our back road tour to arroyo grande to say good bye to Our dear gal pal Debby A. Great pastrami and sis on sour dough and Sherryl's chicken salad. Delicious snd we had curbside booth to watch their Veterans day parade. It was 5 minutes long so much different than porterville either 10 marching bands 3 hours long. .“
“The staff and food at Jo's remind me of down-home goodness. The staff greets regulars by name. The coffee is fresh and hot with refills on the ready. Food is prepared to order, not too much or too little, and served with a smile. I highly recommend Jo's fir breakfast and lunch.“
