If you've ever seen the anime food wars every bite is like the scenes when one of the judges takes a bite of the dish and they nut so hard there clothes explode off of them. Had the dumplings (better than the average resto appetizer dumplings), tofu & veg bowl with garlic Serrano sauce, and the spicy WaBo chicken & veg bowl. Great meal, super fresh. If you’re looking for a quick bite on the way north or south, I can’t imagine a better healthy and delicious option.“

“Today is August 17, 2022, I came back because I had to try the steak bowl with all veggies and I had a can of BUBLY grapefruit flavored. Aleksandra, Sadee, Corrina and The rest of the staff are a lot of fun we spent a lot of time asking them about which pole I should try. I finally settled on the ribeye steak bowl with no rice… I had to have the garlic Serano sauce which Karina made clear was her favorite and turned out to be mine too but I had to add a couple packets of hot sauce the grapefruit drink I was enjoying was perfect with the spicy flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection! the store is kept very clean! Waba Wednesday means two chicken bowls for $12.99!“

“So fresh, clean, and fulfilling! The food here is great, you can really taste the quality... but it’s definitely on the overpriced side.

The space is a bit small, but the wait times were short (10 minutes), so it wasn’t an issue.

There's a long list of dishes that I want to try. This morning, the 3 of us shared several dishes.

My favorite was the BACON sampler and mocha waffle. The eggs Benedict with bacon was okay. So was the egg scrambled. Just okay.

I think I'll come back and try more of the Asian-fusion items that's unique to this place. Pricey ($$$) because of the prime location on the corner Ocean & Olympic, just south of the 10 fry and the SM Pier. But a great place to entertain and impress.“

“I've only tried the chicken breast bowl. I think it's a good amount of food for the money. But it was a little on the dry side. They need to put more teriyaki sauce on the chicken breast bowl, or stop charging extra when you ask for extra teriyaki sauce to go.

“We visited this location for the second time today, and enjoyed it just as much as the first time we went to eat there. The Sherman Oaks location is one of the nicest P.F. Chang’s around, as we’ve been to quite a few in Southern California. Staff is always polite and professional, and I want to give a big “thank you” to our server, Aliyah. She was so friendly, sweet, accommodating, and is exceptionally good at her job, and it really showed! We’ve had some good and bad dinning experiences at other restaurants in the past, so it’s nice and refreshing to know that people like Aliyah truly care about the customer experience. It also reflects well on the management—that being, they spend the time and effort in training and employing great staff like her.

“The food was good. I was expecting more peanut sauce and sweet soy sauce drizzled on the sate but it wasn't. The shrimp sate was very confusing to me. The soto betawi was not bad, but not great either. The nasi bungkus also was ok. Soda gembira was great! All in all, food was ok. Didn't quite hit the spot for Indonesian food but it's not bad. Price wise is cheaper than the other one.“

But the teriyaki chicken and rice is the best. The chicken is never dry and always grilled with their terrific teriyaki sauce. It never tastes like it's been sitting on the grill for an hour, it's always fresh. Absolutely worth your time if you are a lover of good teriyaki.“

“Checked out Waba Grill for the first time since the pandemic. Always thought the food was slightly above average, never disappointed at all really. So today I popped in (April 12, 2021). I noticed that they finally have indoor seating, limited to 20 guests at a time. The tables are spaced out a considerable distance. I decided on the sweet and spicy chicken bowl with veggies and white rice. Total after tax was $9.19. I guess that's fair, as the bowl is pretty decently sized.On to the food: The chicken was really good. A great combination of sweet and heat (4/10 on the spicy scale. Anyone who likes spicy stuff should find it satisfying, though it's not super hot, which is a good thing). The veggies are steamed or blanched - can't tell. Either way, they're crispy while still being cooked. I liked them a lot.All in all, come stop by if you're craving a decent rice bowl. Nice flavor, well put together, maybe a bit more expensive than it should be but not too bad! Recommended!“

“I dream about their fried rice, it's that good. Their ramen is a clear, light broth that is much different and lighter from the offerings on Sawtelle, but it's just as flavorful and delicious. I recommend it if you're looking for a lighter broth. But definitely get at least a side of their pork fried rice!“

“I was apprehensive at first being a paleo modified eater. My honest opinion. The food was really good. The beef was not fatty or chewy. I got the extra spicy and if you can handle it its worth it.
