“Dining at Kourosh was a pleasant experience. The menu is extensive with both flavor & affordable pricing. The best time to come is during lunch hours. I did forget to take photos of the food but I can guarantee it looked & tasted great. Kourosh doesn't play around. They have a beautiful interior of the restaurant with music that elevates the experience. I had a wonderful time speaking with Mary; their manager. Who provided excellent service & a warm atmosphere. You won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be back for more.

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! “The outside look of this restaurant does not represent the Inside. Very lovely décor inside. Lunch was pretty busy but service is great. Food does not take long.
I had Ghormeh Sabzi. The stew as its described, is different from my understanding. Basically had one type of herb and meat plus the sauce. The sauce taste very strong. I cannot describe the flavor.
The prices are not bad. Very reasonable.

“I had chicken shish kabob expecting bone in chicken, but got boneless chicken breast and rice. Asked for the rice to be changed to salad and she graciously did so very fast. I liked th tender chicken and good salad. I really enjoyed the meal. The sits are very close to each other. You can’t have any personal conversations. It is a place to go eat and leave. The outside sitting is well placed for privacy. Altogether I would recommend this place and will go back.“

“I recently visited Vanak restaurant, and it was a pleasant experience. The place is cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a casual meal. The staff was very friendly and quick to take our orders.

My son ordered Joojeh Kabsb, which was juicy and flavorful, served with a side of rice. I ordered Abgoosht, and I loved how fresh and well-seasoned it was. It reminded me my childhood traditional abgoosht places in Tehran.

The prices were reasonable, and the portions were just right. Overall, Vanak is a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Technically a small grocery store with kitchen. Their meat samosas are to-die for. They have goat, beef, chicken, or potato. They also have what we would call baked empanadas and stuffed puff pastry as well, but our family craves the samosas. Kitchen is on-site and also offers typical Northern-India / Pakistani fare that is mostly ordered "to go" and by the "from there" people, so it must be authentic and region-specific. Chutney for sure is - very different from Anarbagh and very spicy hot-and-sour for the average American taste, so be warned. I was searching my app for an affordable mediterranean spot and this place came out so I gave it a try. I thought their food was good because it had a good rating online and their food looked good in the pictures but I was wrong because their food wasn't good, it was actually super great! The cashier, manager, and server were super nice and attentive and it costed me about almost only $30 for two skewers, salad, and hummus.“
