“I've haven't been to japan yet but I've had sushi all over the world and this is the best I've had so far. Not the usual quick innexpensive sushi environment, you pay more, but you get a unique eating experience from someone who is a master of their craft. I don't live in cali but eating here is one of the highlights of my trip, and can't wait to go back when I am in town again.“

“Was looking for a place to dinner in the TO area we haven’t been to, and stumbled upon Reynolds Cucina. While there are no shortage of Mexican food spots in the area, this place stood out.
The quesabirria tacos were delicious. You don’t see these on many menus, and they were a must have. They also provide you with a small container of consumé to dip your tacos. We also had a carne asada burrito which we split. Very good as well. The salsa bar was well stocked, and had a green salsa that we really enjoyed. The chips were perfect, and tasted like they were made right before they brought them out.
If you’re looking for Mexican food in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake area, this place is a must.“

“Years ago I moved to a land far far away where Taco Bell is considered good Mexican food. Just Imagine living in a world with no Mexican food... That's rough time served right there. Knowing that I'm going back to the land of no Mexican food, this was by far my top choice. People always say that In N Out is going to be their first stop back in California. "Forget that. I want the Taco Truck." This place is as good as I remembered and i almost missed it. Asada burritos are my go to. I can only hope they will still be here when i come back again.“

“I love spending my money and time in a place where the employees are clearly enjoying working together. At Eggs n Things my Swedish pancakes were delicious and I got to see the very busy and efficient waitstaff joke with each other, sing snatches of song while they loaded trays and in general look like they were having a genuinely good time all while serving customers with care.“

“Been coming here for 25 years. It’s become a C- Baja Fresh. Don’t post prices on the menu and the carne asada plate is absolutely dreadful. $18 for a flat top grilled piece of flank steak with zero seasoning. This is not good. Anyone who says this carne asada is good is lying. This is garbage. Will not be back after too many chances.“

“I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review for Side Street, I am always in a happy food comma post-brunch and forget. Side Street has long been my absolute favorite restaurant in Ventura County! When it comes to the menu at Side Street, you genuinely can't make a wrong choice. Personally, I'm hooked on their country fried steak and waffles. Hands down the best gravy you'll ever have! There's something about the way they make their coffee that has me drinking half a pot of coffee I swear. When I go out to eat, I expect the food to be better than what I could make myself at home. It's a standard that so many breakfast/lunch restaurants seem to miss, but Side Street consistently exceeds these expectations without fail. What sets Side Street apart is not only the outstanding food but also their commitment to keeping prices reasonable. You definitely get more than your money's worth here! So many of their dishes come with 1) eggs, 2) toast or biscuits & gravy, AND 3) home fries or hash browns. It's a breakfast lover's dream come true! In the post-COVID era, the closure of so many beloved family-owned restaurants was heartbreaking. Side Street not only weathered the storm but continues to thrive. Stepping into Side Street feels like entering a home away from home. Suzanne, the owner and founder, is a constant presence, working alongside her husband, Ryan, and son, Drew. This is as family-owned as it gets, and that authenticity resonates in every corner of the restaurant. What truly makes Side Street special is the family environment. Every member of the staff makes the atmosphere so welcoming. It's evident that they take pride in providing exceptional service, making each visit a memorable experience. In a time where good, family-owned establishments are hard to come by, Side Street stands out as a beacon of what going to a restaurant should be. From the warm atmosphere to the delicious food and impeccable service, this restaurant will always be my go-to. If you haven't experienced the magic of Side Street, it's about time you do! Truly a hidden gem of Ventura County!“

“Delicious! Hot chicken and waffles salad and coffee was great too! Wish they offered dairy free cream and dessert options. Tortilla soup was wonderful but way too hot to eat. Even ate my whole salad first to allow it to cool. Maybe a wider shallow bowl?“

“We went here for a quick late dinner. The food was tasty but nothing special. I think I may try a few more items though- it may be that my dish was not the best. I had a shrimp taco, some of the breaded shrimp had a bit more breading than ideal. The Mexican street corn though was quite tasty and they provided a good amount for the serving.“

“$17 for combo pho seems to be the norm nowadays. It's not bad but not really $17 worth. The steak is good and tender so if, if, I want pho and in this area again, I may try the $15 steak only pho. Soup is ok, not bad not great, nothing too memorable. They do give you the veggi like a normal pho restaurant.
Overall, based on $17, it's not bad but it is not that good. It will be a good $14 combo pho.“

“I love toppers! The salad bar is delicious and the ranch is better than Wingstop (I know it's true). The pizza is always crispy on the bottom and soft on top. The only downside is this pizza place is EXPENSIVE. 2 medium 3 topping pizzas, 2 salad bowls, 3 drinks, plus tip was about $80. So we go seldom.“

“Guy working there was super friendly and in a great mood. We unfortunately found a hair in our food (things happened it's ok) and he exchanged it no questions asked. I came back later for a drink and he gave it to me on house for the hair from before. Great customer service and appreciate the gesture.“

“We have been to Bazille once before, and we enjoyed things in general very much. The waiter, Craig, was very friendly, polite and very efficient and attentive. The food was delicious, with one exception: We were celebrating a friend's birthday, so we ordered a two desserts: creme brulee and a strawberry shortcake. They were both delicious, but each had its own problem The flavor of the creme brulee was tasty, but under the toasted sugar crust the custard was runny. When we expected the strawberry shortcake, a bread pudding was brought out, which a sent back. The problem was corrected promptly. Unfortunately, the baked portion was very difficult to cut, so it made it very had to eat. I reserved with open table, and noted that there was a birthday being celebrated, but no candle was on either dessert. I didn't expect a free dessert, just a candle. First time ever in my life, no candle. Good rating, still enjoyed our Salade Nisoise entrees.“

“I heard the manager yelling at a girl because she used an outlet to charge her phone when shes a paying customer. It was very rude. There are 3 outlets there and i see the bartenders charge peoples phone in the back of the bar. Was very extremely distasteful. He should turn them all off, McDonalds has outlets for people to charge there phone. Was crazy to watch.“

“I have been coming here for over 25 years. Celebrated many birthdays in their party room when I was a child and sang karaoke “Man, I feel like a woman” by Shania Twain for the first time back in 2001. I have incredible memories of Amecis and their food never disappoints. This place is nostalgic for me and I will never stop coming here.“

“Sunset Terrace is my "GO TO" social and sports bar in Thousand Oaks and I frequent 3 times a week. By far they have the best happy hour on weekdays 3 - 7 pm. (Drinks - 50% off / Food - 25% off). They have plenty of pool tables, big screen TVs, and the only bowling alley (4 lanes) in town. The crowd is mostly locals who welcome newbies and make them feel right at home. The bartenders and servers are friendly and efficient and I rate their food a #10. The have security and I like the fact that never have I seen a fight there. Give it a try and I promise you can't go wrong. Thanks for reading this, Bruce Love“
