“Finally was able to try cloud sushi and it did not disappoint. Coming from a sushi obsessed truckee local, this is the highest quality fish you can get in the area, hands down, debatably better than anything you can get in Reno. This is not all-you-can eat pricing, but high quality fish prepared by a chef and the pricing reflects that. Well worth the money!“
“Just finished tough mudder, so you could just imagine how hungry I was, and stumbled upon this place in the middle of northstar village. These fries definitely did not disappoint! I tried the chili cheese, garlic, and poutine fries. The fries were the perfect size, not too thick but not too thin and fried perfectly. Poutine had a generous portion of gravy (all at the bottom though) and the right amount of cheese curds while the chili cheese fries got a little too soggy from all the Chili cheese (definitely need to eat this with a fork). My favorite has to be the garlic fries! You pay a hefty price for these fries considering the portions aren't that large, but cannot deny it's deliciousness!!“
“Delightful hidden treat at Northstar. You exit the loud crowded ice skating area and this little gem is quiet and clean and spacious enough for privacy. Just what me family needed after a big day on the slops. The kids menu was 15 each which is reasonable to me with a fruit side and cookie. We really loves the salmon and risotto. Very high quality ingredients and well balanced and thought out. I got a fun cocktail called the peppermint dude which delighted and wasn’t too sweet. We booked again for tomorrow. We usually go to the other big restaurant which is fun but this was the calm quiet fine dining but kid friendly experience we so needed but didn’t expect.Kid-friendliness: The chocolate chip cookie that comes with the kids meals is so good“
“We were in Truckee for a day and my wife came across this place. Breweries are usually a good family friendly stop for us and this was no exception. The people here were fantastic, the locals and the staff. The back room had been converted into a play area for kids which was great. Good beer selection and having NA beer is always a plus. We had a great time finding this place and would certainly come back next time we are in the area.“
