“Sure, you've got your choice of loncheras and street-side comals and trompos along foothill, but sometimes you want to rest your tuff in some real air conditioning and enjoy an expanded and seasonal menus. The dining room is clean and new, and can easily see everything is made fresh to order in the kitchen. Don't let In n' Out next door confuse you- parking is pretty easy. Most importantly, the food is terrific, probably the best counter order Mexican in Crescenta valley.“

“I had suuuuch high hopes for this place. Don't get me wrong, the tacos were very tasty, just soooo greasy!! My asada taco grease got all over. I mean, it didn't stop me from eating most of my food 😬🤣.... but the grease floating on my plate was a lil bit of a disappointment. 😩 Hubby's tacos were REALLY GOOD, no grease so maybe it was a bad asada night. I'LL BE BACK though.... to giver her another try.“

“This was our first time at Tacos Villa Corona and it was great. It is a small place and most get take away. That is what we did. The place inside is clean and just cute. I love the way they have art on the menu on their wall. It is family owned and a lot of the recipes are from the owners mom. She loved to cook.
We had the best breakfast burrito. It is called Papa Steak and we also had the best chicken quesadilla. Their chips are great and we had rice on the side. We got it all to go and ate in the car and listened to music. We had a great time.
This is a real gem that we had not heard of before and boy it does not disappoint. Beware the salsa, it is great, but what we had was way too hot for me.
Their hours are odd, so call to make sure they are open. They run out of food.
You will love this place. We do.“

“Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

“Parked near the laundromat in the evenings, this truck serves al pastor tacos that are simple but packed with flavor. The marinated pork is juicy, and the pineapple adds a sweet balance. There's a little salsa bar with green and red sauces that are both excellent. Only accepts cash. Neighborhood feel—you’ll often see families stopping by“

“This is a different taco place than what you may be accustomed to. Here they serve tacos with fillings that are much more humid and juicy than you average taco stand. They serve tacos with Tinga and Cochinita Pibil among other things, but the base is that they are all served with fillings that have been cooking for a looong time! They also have vegetarian options. I gotta say the food is a little pricey for my taste. 4 tacos, 2 drinks, and a tostada were 33$“

“What an awesome find. Been to the best all over Los Angeles and this ranks up there in the top 5. Everything is very high quality and made with love. Best birria I have had in LA. Very high quality shrimp and carne asada tacos. The family who owns is also super nice and made my daughter a quesadilla on the house. Nice thoughtful touch.“

“Avenue 26 Taco Stand in Lincoln Heights is a hole-in-the-wall spot that has some of the best tacos in LA. Their al pastor tacos are unbeatable, with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The lines can get long, but it’s totally worth the wait. It’s a no-frills joint, but the flavor is out of this world. Definitely a must-try for taco lovers“

The quality is always excellent, everything is fresh, full of flavor, and made with great care. It’s honestly the best quesadilla and burrito I’ve ever had. “WOW! I was getting a little impatient while waiting for my order, because it was “just a food truck”. But when the food was ready, the care with which they prepared it was evident. We had shrimp tacos, marlin plate, and ceviche. Everything was excellent! My wife said the best shrimp tacos she’s ever had. This quality food could easily be served in a higher-end restaurant.“

“So glad my daughter and I stopped here. We each had breakfast burritos and they were excellent. Not only delicious, but big. We both tried the hot salsa and liked it. The atmosphere was very inviting. The service was the best I've received in a very long time. The server was very attentive and sweet. The cook came out and asked if we were enjoying our meal. He was interested in our feedback. We both decided we would be back even though we don't live in the area. It was definitely worth the effort of finding parking. Don't pass this place up
PS, the cook let us try the birria. That's what I'm ordering next time. Yum“

“Great stand with freshly made corn tortillas, carne asada grilled over coals and a spicy selection of salsas.
Do yourself a favor and try the quesadilla with thick fresh masa toasted on the grill. Everything I’ve had on multiple visits is delicious. The people are lovely. There are a few small tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Foodie explorers: If the wait is too long at Mala Class, come here and give it a try. You won’t regret it.

“If you want a quick, cheap, no grills and delicious, street style taco fix on this side of the border in NoHo, Sandy's is your place. Buche, cabeza, tripas, al pastor, you name it, they probably have it. I usually get those three and it sets me back $15 for 7 tacos. They are not that big so depending on your appetite, you might need more. I usually eat that in 2 servings. Oh btw, "cash" only!“

“Ordered two asada tacos. Loved the SINGLE tortilla. Very flavorful asada. The green salsas were mild and so good. Just wish all street tacos cost $2. Efficient ordering and pick-up service. Cool neighborhood.
Parking: The truck is parked on the lot of a Chevron gas station. The parking is limited. May find street parking nearby.“
“Amazing food, the brothers who are working are so welcoming and friendly. I don't get to eat out often, and when I do I would rather go to a family-owned business than one of the many many corporate owned franchises in the area.
Every now and then when I order, they will give me an extra Taco or something that I have not tried before, and it is always very good.
5/5 highly recommended.
Just park in the Target parking lot that is in front of the laundromat. They have tables to sit and eat at, or you can get it to go.
CASH AND ZELLE ONLY. They'll make sure to check your bank apps, as Zelle is usually integrated to many of them nowadays. I never really keep cash on me, so knowing that I don't have to set up another app is awesome.“
“After spending over a week in Mexico, touring Tulum, Cancun, Isla Mujeres and more. I believe Taco n Madre may just have the very best, most authentic tasting tacos in east Mexico, at the very least the state of Quinta Roo. I recommend this location to any traveler visiting cancun and verturing inland off the beach. What a delicious experience the pastor tacos were the grilled Piña, the guac and pick and those sauces - take me back already! Gracias to the Camarero who made the experience memorable by me letting have my choice cuts of the spicy and tangy Al pastor.“
“Tonight I ordered the Carnitas Fiesta burrito and the Chori-queso. Both so good. 🩵 Been coming here for 3 years and it’s still my favorite spot in GB to get authentic Mexican food. The drive thru is super convenient, too! Everyone is super friendly. 10/10 recommend!“
“Their tacos are good. N have a good taste.“

“I wish I could give this place more stars. The name might've changed– it used to be Jeni's Tacos. Really hope they survived the pandemic. Delicious handmade tortillas and super sweet family who runs it. One of those LA gems that if you know, you know.“

“Great tacos and service. My favorite taco stand in Los Angeles. If they could add black beans and green lemons (when I went there were only bay beans and yellow lemons) the business would be absolute perfection. Even without them they are excellent but it would be good to reach an incredible authentic level. May they continue to be successful!“
