“My first food truck, I didn't know I was going to a food truck! The food was prepared fresh as my daughter and I watched them! My daughter order the Birrira Ramon and I two tacos, they both were very good and the service was great. The price was reasonable and had a nice lunch there on the sidewalk, couple chairs and a little table clean! We enjoyed ourselves.“
“I wanted to surprise my husband with something yummy from his favorite place (Lichi's Mex) but I can't drive and I had already walked 2 miles by the time I realized I didn't have my wallet! Fortunately, I had about $9 in cash in my pocket... So, I went into Lichi's and asked what I could get for $9 and the girl working there was SO NICE I almost cried (it's been a very hard week - we had a death in the family yesterday, among other things) and she helped me maximize my spending money so that I was able to get my husband a great -BIG- meal.I totally get why Lichi's Mex is his fave :) The atmosphere, the food, the portions, the prices, and -especially- the people are all excellent.Thank you for making a terrible week a little more bearable, Lichi's Mex. I hope this review helps you too! <3“
“Amazing! I just moved to LA toHighland park, and I remember driving by this place and there was this looooooong line of people. So I figured I had to try it one day.Wow.I’ve been there a few times and haven’t reviewed it, so it’s about time.Tonight I went and got a chicken quesadilla (corn tortilla) and 2 queso tacos with Al Pastor.?First, they PACK it with meat. I always over order. Every. Single. Time. I should’ve just gotten the quesadilla or maybe, MAYBE one taco. Now I’m in a food coma. ?The food was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. If I could give them 6 stars I wouldn’t. I’ve been to a few other tacos spots i the area…. None of them compare.Quesadilla (corn tortilla) - $9Queso tacos - $3.50 eachCan’t go wrong with these prices either. Great price and delicious food.I’ll be back for my next cheat meal ! ?????Next time I’m trying the loaded baked potato !! Heard it’s incredible !Parking: It’s right in front of target. Park in there and walk around.“
“Must try if you are looking for delicious authentic birria. It's a cute-humble family owned establishment that serves very tasty dishes. My favorite was the consomé with tacos dorados. I do wish they had a spicier red sauce but overall was great. It hit the spot on a Sunday afternoon. I especially liked the fact I could dine-in instead of the typical food truck. I can't wait to come back and try more items. Thank you familia Castro.“
“Solid selection of tacos, counter service, where you order, huge drink selection, including a $200 margarita meant for 16 people (sorry that’s not pictured we must have finished it so quickly). Generous portions, and all the tacos which he would hope for spending at least $5/taco.“
“Stopped by to get some late tacos. Pleasantly greeted by a very nice family, father, mother, sons and their daughter. Not only are they a very charming family, the food is great. So far I tried, Tacos de asada, al pastor and cabeza. Mulitas de asada, al pastor, vampiro de asada and a vampiro in a mulita de asada. I will definitely stop by again to try more items from their menu. They've gained a new customer.“
“¡En primer lugar, Jairo es el mejor que hay, un hombre muy agradable y un gran servicio al cliente! ¡En segundo lugar, empecemos diciendo los mejores tacos de la historia! No voy a ningún otro lugar aparte de mis tacos de Leo tan buenos como si tuviera antojo de algunos ahora mismo. Me encanta este lugar, lo recomendaría 5/5The atmosphere is dope too not to spooky great spot to get tacos safely“
“Great spot to go with friends for lunch or to take the kids on the weekend. They have a great front patio and full bar, a back room with TVs and games for kids and a back patio that's more private. I've never hosted an event here, but seems like a great spot for a birthday party with friends on a Saturday or Sunday - Margs and tacos and lots of space for socializing. Also very kid friendly! They have a great kids menu with options for picky eaters, frozen lemonade etc. Recommend the mexi cali taco and the Philly cheese steak! So good!“
“4+ Considered one of the best by many or at least one of the most popular taco spots in Los Angeles. They have a good variety of items and meats, but I would say they are most known for their al pastor (marinated, spit-roasted pork that is usually served with a slice/ chunk of pineapple). The service here is pretty efficient since they have to be - there's almost always a line. The vibe: depending on the time of day or night you come, it's usually a mixed group of people wanting to try this spot, people eating after a drinking session, or just people looking for decently priced tacos. One of the times I was here, I was standing behind Dante Basco (Rufio!), haha. Usually a fun vibe for sure. My usual here is two tacos (typically the al pastor) and a mulita. It used to be that there was a toppings and salsa bar where you would dress up your food. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic or people taking advantage and taking too much stuff home, you now have to go to a separate window to ask for the toppings and salsa and they're individually packaged. I definitely think this place is worth going for the al pastor. I myself have been here multiple times. Parking can be tough, but if you are going during the week there's usually parking along the street facing south on LA Brea right around the corner. Just be careful though as it is a relatively high traffic area and some people seem to drive recklessly in this area.“
“The food here is unmatched. The best tacos and salsa around by far. The service? Not super amazing, but it made for a more intentional dining experience, and I don't mind that. Truly though, the steak tacos set a new bar for me. Amazing work in the kitchen. Great cocktails too!“
“I’ve been looking for a delicious torta for a long time and I finally found the place! If you like fresh delicious food this is the place. The service is excellent, they answered all my questions and explained their menu. I created my own sandwich with some recommendations from Johnathan who was awesome. This is by far the best torta I’ve ever had! It was so good I was back a couple days later for another! Wifey ordered tacos and they were amazing as well. The flavor and freshness of the meat is what sets them apart. No old meat being served here. Definitely my go to spot for delicious fresh food!“
“Great dining experience!!! Great tasting food, we had sea bass with the shrimp skewers, we loved the food. Sides of zucchini, rice & slaw were great. Fantastic service by Adela and Danny. Both were very friendly and very helpful!!! Thank you both. Will be back soon.“
“Very impressed. Super clean. Super friendly staff. One of the better tacos I have ever had. Lot of varieties. Six different salsas. Unlimited side dishes free. fresh drinks. The meat was very juicy. We had carne asada and beef tongue and brisket and chicken.“
“Tacos are delicious. Love the options they have. I will suggest getting the sampler order to see which tacos you like the most. All their tacos are really good, but my favorite is chicharron, bistek en salsa roja, calabacitas, and chile relleno. The agua fresca de melon is really good, too. Don't forget to request salsa on the side. It is really good and spicy.“
“Found this on a search, the food off the truck was off the chain. From tacos with guacamole plus everything else to vampiro the taste was delicious & authentic. As we drove up we witnessed customers eating on their vehicles, so when in Rome do as the Romans. I haven’t eaten on a car since my teenage years, and there I stood at 60 being the old wild one of the bunch. Excellent food, a must try for both residents & travelers!!!“
“I am so glad I live a block away from this truck. I’ve lived in socal my whole life and these are by far the best tacos and burritos I have ever had. I always get the carne asada because I have NEVER had better carne asada!!! 10/10 recommend this truck!“
“Birria tacos at the best.#1 for me in LA for birria tacos.Because it's so good better just put simple ingredients (onion, cilantro, spicy chili salsa for consome if you like spicy) and enjoy the flavor of real birria consome. Real deal. Fish tacos were very nice as well. Everything is really fresh.“
“The food her is absolutely delicious! The prices are fair, the portions are great, and the salsas are divine! Their tortillas are hand made and everything is cooked to order. 10/10 highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Quesadillas, beans, rice, Aguas FrescasKid-friendliness: My daughter loves the quesadillas. They are always so full of cheese with the best kind of stretchy cheese.“
“Great little Cafe with awesome vibes! As soon as me and my large family walked in we were kindly greeted, and offered a table because we wanted to dine in.The food is so fresh and vibrant with amazing flavors. I ordered the asada tacos and wasn't disappointed! If I'm ever in Cali I'll be back! I really enjoyed how they made us feel welcomed amd at home!“
“To think I've waited over a year to try out this place and it didnt let down. Except for the taco cooker guy. He had a huge attitude when the lady told him he got our order wrong. Plus nowhere to really eat either. Other than that, it was great.Have to thank my lil brother for taking me today. :)“
“After Universal Studios we wanted to eat some tacos. We found this place. It was late and we where a group of 10. There was no room indoors since there's only booths inside so we sat outside in the patio area. The waitress was quick on bringing the outdoor heater to warm us up. We ordered tacos and a cup with corn on the cob. The food was authentic and tasted like it should :)“
“The bread was ok. I only came here for the bread because I wanted to make a tamale sandwich with a bread ??. I would of fried it but I couldn't. I love eating a crispy fried tamale but most or almost all places do not do it or sell it. I do not know if I am the only one that does this. But i like eating my tamales in a bread as a sandwich fried and crispy. The bread here was good. The bread was a little bit small. I have bought bread in other places and they are a bit bigger.“
“Probably in my top 3 breakfast burritos in LA if not my favorite. Almost a literal hole in the wall spot you order from along the busy street in Atwater Village. No seating - just take out. You order from the window and grab it when it's ready. Can't remember if I started coming here before or after Bourdain made it famous, but I'm not a gatekeeper and I'm happy for any fame or business this place received as a result. My go to is the papas and steak breakfast burrito. I ask to add spinach. As of 11/23 the price of this comes to $7. Super reasonable. I love the salsa here. Spicy and makes me sweat but such a great smoky flavor. So delicious. There was a time in my life I used almost get a burrito here every week - whether it was the morning after hanging out with my friends living in Silverlake or the time period in my life when I lived in Silverlake myself. So many great memories tied to this place for me. Parking can be a little tough depending when you go. There's lots of metered parking or you may have to park a bit away and walk here.“
“This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice. The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“
“My absolute FAVE taco spot in all of LA. Their carne asada is SUPREME. Their al pastor is pretty good, but the carne asada is life-changing. I've tried the other meats, even the Buche and Saudero (I think that's the right word...?), so don't bother - just do al pastor and carne asada. The tacos are small so just order that extra carne asada. It's a cash-only place, and the Vons has ATMs if needed. The workers understand English, and they're all super friendly. The salsa station is always stocked. Be prepared to eat on the trunk of your car - it's totally part of the experience.“
“Great family place to eat. Friendly staff. I saw this hamburger on Google reviews and wanted to try it. The overall taste was good but the hamburger meat was a bit too well cooked or even I can say burned as you can see from the picture it was almost burnt around the edges. I didn’t want to make a big deal about it so I ate it but would definitely ask for a different one next time if it comes out this way. French fries was good.“
“This is a good-enough burger joint with reasonable prices to make it worth patronizing. It's one of those "burger shack" places that has sit-down tables inside, but you order at a counter instead of there being waitpeople. But they will bring your food to your table instead of calling a number and making you walk over to get it. It's also one of those places that is staffed by Hispanics and serves Mexican food as well as American fast food. The workers were nice, especially the lady who brought my food to me. I ordered a burger combo plus a side, so I could try both their fries and their onion rings. The best thing was the onion rings. The batter was thick enough that the entire ring was coated with crust, and the crust was crispy. Most important, they weren't greasy at all. They were really good. 2nd-best were the fries; I'm not sure whether they were hand-cut (probably not), but among frozen fries, they were still good. The burger was decent enough; the meat was not poor grade, but wasn't up to the higher level of Fatburger or Five Guys or Shake Shack. They would have to raise their prices if they used a higher grade of beef, but I think they should consider doing so, because they would get a lot more customers who might otherwise eat at one of those other places. One unfortunate little drawback is the chairs that go with the tables; they're that odd metal type that have the weird narrow back-construct that cuts into your rear-end or the back part of your thighs, so they're not comfortable to sit in. They should replace those uncomfortable metal chairs with something that's much more comfortable. That would make people want to stay longer and want to come back more. This place is good enough, but it could be even better.“
“Fish is grilled most of the time exactly right. Once it was overcooked but that is out of about 10 visits. The selection is very good, but fresh fish isn’t always available. The portions are medium or enough for most. The grilled zucchini could be better with fresh but the prices are reasonable.“
“Looking for a delicious birria experience?Look no further than Tacos El Menny. Their authentic Mexican cuisine is sure to tantalize your taste buds. From tacos to burritos, they have something for everyone. If you're ever around North Hills/ Panorama City area, see for yourself what makes them unique!“
“(Translated by Google) Everything is good here tooodoooo I love gut tacos (but I have eaten everything here) there are only the how, I am already 6 years old or a little more than I am a frequent customer excellent service ufff(Original)Todo es bueno aquí tooodoooo yo amo los tacos de tripa (pero e comido de todo aqui) solo hay los cómo, ya tengo como 6 años o un poco mas que soy clienta frecuente excelente servicio ufff“
“If you live in Sherman Oak or the valley come get the quesadilla birria tacos ahhh there so Delicious I recommend such great quality and fast service. I always order over the phone and pick up so convenient. I love it they always add extra salsa, condiments and their agua Fresca. Just try won't fail.“
“Great Staff, always willing to help and be patient with customers. The food is quality and the service is 10/10. They keep the parking area really clean and they have tables/chairs to sit down. If you are looking for birria de Chivo or Res you have found your new spot ! This is authentic Birrieria food truck that you don’t want to miss.“
“Food is good but it gets boring with that dry ole rice on every plate for a side ?. And yall aint fooling nobody with that mushy white farm fish, promoting it as branzino! ? The fish fry batter gives a nice crunchy crispy texture but it's doing too much. Brussel sprouts are fantastic but too expensive. Average cost ends up being close to 30 dollars if you get a drink and premium side. That's Cheesecake Factory prices, without the Cheesecake factory fullness you get from a meal. Overall, I really enjoy the restaurant. The grilled jumbo shrimp is slapping and so is the grilled salmon, well done. They gotta stop playing games with the rockfish. Is it on the menu or not!? (Question and exclamation point intended). The kaleslaw ain't slawin'. Baybee, it be dry and got zero flavor. I mean, if you wanna just chew like a grazing farm animal, just say that! Recommendations are Grilled jumbo shrimp, Grilled salmon, Brussel sprouts, cajun seasoning, strawberry lemonade or any of the premium juices, all the extra condiments.“
“Started watching Taco Chronicles on Netflix, got to the episode of tacos de canasta and instantly craved them. So i started asking around my friends on facebook and one pointed me to Diosa Maya. Great customer service and the tacos were amazing! Get there early though, we didn't get any tacos de chicharron but we definitely will next time!??“
“If you want a quick, cheap, no grills and delicious, street style taco fix on this side of the border in NoHo, Sandy's is your place. Buche, cabeza, tripas, al pastor, you name it, they probably have it. I usually get those three and it sets me back $15 for 7 tacos. They are not that big so depending on your appetite, you might need more. I usually eat that in 2 servings. Oh btw, "cash" only!“
“I was in the area late in the evening and went on Yelp to see if there was a place open late that had tacos. Luckily, Tacos Palacios was open. I made my way down to check it out. The taco truck was parked at a gas station and had 2 picnic tables for dining. It was really cold outside. The owner, who was nice and polite, was working and helped take my food order. They have a big menu. I saw that they had tacos with handmade tortillas, so I definitely ordered two tacos with handmade tortillas, one with chicken and one with carne asada. Both tacos were delicious. They have a good spicy green salsa. I was still a bit hungry, so I ordered a burrito de al pastor. The meat was flavorful. I didn't realize that the burrito came with fries, but they were inside the burrito. They tasted good. It was my first time having fries in a burrito. The prices were higher than you would expect for 3 items ($22.50), but I think it has to do with the location. I will stop by again when I am in the area.“
“Delicious shrimp tacos and asada quesadilla! The portions are large and the prices are super reasonable. I love that you can call in advance to order! Today was my first time and I'll definitely be back! :)Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly as it is a food truck :)Parking: There is free street parking on the street next to this food truckWheelchair accessibility: Easy to access for a wheelchair“
“Poncho's has to be my and my family's favorite taco spot currently in the San Fernando Valley area. If you still haven't tried their tacos then you've been missing out. Currently I'm probably ordering via Uber eats on a regular basis. I highly recommend quesotsco beef birria tacos, quesotsco al pastor and of course you can't go wrong with the regular street tacos asada, Al pastor and even birria. I forgot to mention how flavorful the consome is and of course their salsa verde & red sauce are a must too! I pair all my queso tacos with all 3 ( consome, salsa verde and red salsa)“
“I had not had tacos like this since i was a little girl in Baja California Norte, Mexico. (Not to age myself but this was over 20+ years ago. If you want an authentic norteño taco that's juicy, yummy, and fresh as hell this is the place! Hand made corn tortillas are bomb - made to order. The king taco here is the alpastor but you can't go wrong regardless your protein. Every meat is seasoned correct. The service here is friendly fast and caring. Don't sleep on this little corner taco tent, it will be some of the best tacos you can have in NoHo.“
“Super nice people serving authentic, tasty, Mexican street food. Hot salsa made by abuela has a great zing. The burrito estilo don and the quesadillas are outstanding. I'm a low carb guy and they even have keto tacos made with cheese shells which are pretty good and sometimes they have keto tortillas. Come check it out.“
“Great handmade tortillas tacos for $2.00 each. They are well served and can't beat the price. Quesadilla made with home made corn tortillas are delicious for only $11.00/$12.00. Agua Frescas for $6.00 Friendly service. It's surrounded by other food vendors on the sidewalk right in front of Target.“
“Oh my goodness I think this has to be my favorite taco truck in all of LA! I've been getting their carne asada burritos with everything + green sauce, but tonight I got their carne tacos with the red and *chefs kiss* it was so good, the red spicy is extremely spicy and delicious (fair warning on the spice level) *laughs*“
“Ordered customized veggie burrito which has... green & yellow peppers, spinach, cheese, beans, potato, sooooo good! Home made cooking kind taste I love. A lady was so nice, welcoming , good energy and friendly, I'll def come back for more. Saw their Pupusa handmade & served one that I need to give a try in the future. Thank You ladies!“
“Great food! Can’t go wrong with the pastor. They also just started birria. The consommé is fantastic. It’s a small team so you might have to wait a little longer but it’s worth the wait. Patience is a virtue and these lovely people deliver!“
“The best tacos/burritos In NELA!! Might not be the most flashy spot but the flavor is out of this world. After every spot I've tried(out of state and country) this is by far the only place I HAVE to return to. The staff are all nice, courteous and lovely people and their portions are always a hook up too. Their salsas are a must if you're having their burritos as you have to dunk them in it for the full on experience. And for the homies traveling from far don't trip there's a dispensary 30 ft away and it's located in a hot spot for bar hopping if you're tryna enjoy this side of town. For the tourist and out of towners it might interest yall that Billie Eilish lives around the corner from here since that's a selling point for y'all. Don't forget to tip!“
“Their service is amazing, super friendly and you get the food fast as well. Anything they hand you is super fresh and yummy!! They have a good amount of options so it's fun to explore the menu (I've tried different things and nothing has let me down). Let me not forget to say that everything is reasonably priced!! They are located by a small shopping center so there is a bunch of parking so you don't have to worry about that either. If you haven't tried it out I definitely suggest you do!! Must go to spot in the valley!!“
“Foooood is sooooo gooooood. The one I went to was a taco stand, but honestly the service was nice and the server very understanding. It is outside, so you might be cold so it's probably better to have it for togo and eat it at home! Tacos are bomb and the quesadillas is not bad!“

“The pupusas are amazingly delicious omg can't wait to order again service was ok the lady that took my order was kinda nonchalant not very nice maybe cause I'm a girl cause other gentleman came in and she greeted them very nicely i would definitely go back for the pupusas“
“Hands down! The best tacos I have ever had! The tortillas are hand made and in all the multiple times I order their asada, there is no gristle! The tacos are filled with tender meat which packs a ton of flavor, not to mention the condiments are just as delicious! Also, try their al pastor and burritos!“
