“A no nonsense taco shop that feels exactly as you want it. From the laminent booths to the hand written specials to the board of items lit up thats a bit too old.

Price was excellent, food was great, the salsa bar was STOCKED.

I had the carne Asada plate and an al pastor taco. The carne Asad plate was large fresh and cheap. The beans and rice were as expected and the Pico de gallo was top notch.

The al pastor left something to be desired. It wasnt bad, but it tasted more like I would expect chorizo to taste. Not bad, just not the best pastor I've encountered.

Even during the lunch rush the staff was friendly and prompt.

“Taqueria la Esmeralda is delicious. You have the option of fast food for take out or a nice casual sit down meal. They have seating both indoor and patio. The staff is always friendly and smiling. I have never been in when it wasnt busy. Today we went in for the taco Tuesday special, we ordered quite a few tacos to go and the turn around time for that amount of food was great. They have a self service salsa bar and chips.
We got carne asada tacos, carnitas and pollo asado tacos. We have tried other foods previously- nachos, burritos & quesadillas. All equally delicious.“

The owner was very friendly, honestly exemplified the pinnacle of customer service. 100/10 cannot recommend this food truck enough. We checked in to see the status of our order and was informed that we needed to pay before they would put our order together...otherwise, it was a fun day out getting a snack.“
